Always loved this place. I used to drink here with my boss Larry Riggs. I came back to 29 on and off for the last seven years and although the place has been spruced up it still has a great vibe.

Friendly place, stopped by with 20 biker buddies for some refreshments. The beer was cold and they welcomed bikers. Three Marines were at the bar, so my boy Paul bought em a round. Proud of our military.

Well at this time I like all the bartenders and the owners are great too. I just don't see them when they come up cause I work. You can have fun and see your friends.
Enjoyed the bar, nice atmosphere and friendly service.
Heads up though: it's cash only. I used my ATM card which I haven't used in several months to pull out cash from the ATM in the bar. Two days later, a bunch of fraudulent charges started showing up on the card from Michigan.
I can't be certain since I was only visiting Joshua Tree for the weekend so can't return to the bar, but it seems likely that there was a skimmer on the ATM.
We loved it. Close proximity to our Airbnb and a fun spot. Cheap beer, great service, and cheap games of pool. $4 for most beers and $1/game of pool. Everyone was fun and friendly.
A great place filled with really nice people - and the Taco ladies out front were so nice too!
This place is a true diamond in the rough. Dive bar atmosphere but the place is spotlessly clean including the bathrooms. Great prices, great service, lots of parking in the back. Owner really really knows how to run a business and train her staff in her image. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit, and we just popped after a day in Joshua Tree.
Do yourself a favor and visit this fantastic 29 Palms gem.
Good small town bar. I forgot my driver's license there and was able to get it back two days later!
Took some friends from out of town, good vibes, friendly bartender, good music, great time playing pool. Yes bloody Mary's excellent choice.

Added a dollar bill to the wall in memory of my boyfriend that just passed away, played pool and had a few drinks. Prices are reasonable and the people are nice.
This place was nice to grab a drink after some hiking in the park. It is cash only and they don’t have draft beer, only cans and bottles along with plenty of liquor options. There is a jukebox that anyone can pay to play music. But the bartender was friendly!

I enjoyed the place. It was really cool looking and there were not many people there! They’re a cash only business and although they have a ATM there I hate to spend money to get money. I kicked back in this friendly place enjoying the ambiance and slugging back coldNewcastle ! The jute box was playing and I saw a pool table. Location is excellent if you’re in downtown 29 Palms.
Came by for a beer after work. Super friendly Maggie was working. Thank you for being so sweet. Definitely giving the place a great day time vibe :) 2 Pool tables & Darts Plus clean bathrooms 😁 Yay !
Stopped off for a couple of beers and was treated very hospitable by the owner Cora. Great vibes, staff and cheap drinks and pool to boot. Would highly recommend
Had a couple of beers in this local and super friendly bar. Cora, the fantastic landlady was a great ambassador for Twenty Nine Palms and California as a whole - love this place!

A great spot to get a true 29 Palms locals vibe. Friendly service and family feel. We always stop here on our way to Palm Springs.
Definitely a place for regulars, but the bartender was super nice and drinks were cheap. Looking for a good dive to drink in, this is a good option.
