We ended up in this town and restaurant during out trip. While the service was okay, the food, portion sizes, and pricing truly stood out. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a friendly host who promptly seated me. The service, while not exceptional, was decent. The staff members were polite and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my meal but they were just slow. Now, let's talk about the main highlight: the food. The menu offered a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes, and I was impressed by the variety of options available, however, limited veggie options. The food itself was delicious and packed with flavor with big portion. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced, leaving me wanting more with each bite. One aspect that truly impressed me was the portion sizes. The restaurant definitely believes in providing value for money, as the servings were generous. Whether you have a hearty appetite or prefer to share with a friend, you'll be satisfied with the portion sizes offered here. Speaking of value for money, the pricing at this Mexican restaurant was reasonable. Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I found the prices to be quite fair. It's refreshing to find a place that offers delicious cuisine without breaking the bank. Overall, while the service at this Mexican restaurant may not have been exceptional, the food, portion sizes, and reasonable pricing more than made up for it. If you're looking for a satisfying dining experience with authentic Mexican flavors, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Best place for Tex-mex while in Twenty Nine Palms, CA visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Large menu of a multitude of choices - appetizers, soups/salads, combo plates, fajita combinations. Every possible choice you can think up. Service is great and they’ll alert a menu item to meet your request. Large restaurant with plenty of seating and spread out so not sitting tooclose. Handles large groups easily. Quick service and fresh food with large portions. Great prices, won’t break the bank. Great bar area as well. Check it out.

Friendly staff. Good food. Was Labor Day weekend so wasn't too busy as a lot of Marines and their families left town for the holiday. Nice atmosphere. Will def go back!

The food was good. The floors in the whole restaurant were a tad bit sticky. I'm not sure why. Maybe someone spilled a drink and they mopped it up and didn't change the mop water so it spread the stickiness around the restaurant. The service was friendly.

Great food. The place has spacious seating. The only bad thing was a group of 15 20ish yr olds that were very loud and the restaurant owners didn’t do anything about it.

Good Mexican food! Serving food slow might due to short of staff! Definitely need to visit the bathroom which were converted from the previous bank vault. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

LOVE Edchada's! We've made this a work thing every couple months and it's always a blast. The food is great, reasonably priced, and always comes out bigger than you expected. Not a place to go if you're in a rush, but totally a spot to get a nice meal. The drinks are always really good too.

Had real quick service at the tail end of the dinner rush. Servers coordinated real well with one another when it came to drinks, food and checks. Tables are spaced out comfortably which I found nice. Parking is available in the back, there is also street parking if needed. Food was really good. Would return and recommend to try them out.

The margaritas are with the price, good amount of liquor in that. A lot of food options with a good plate size the two chicken tacos that I ordered were tasty and good portion.

The food and drinks were great! I had a friendly server. The margarita was well mixed. The food came out hot and delicious. Had been a long time since I've been here. And glad I came back!

Great food, great atmosphere and exceptional service. Came from Wisconsin to see my Cousin Joseff in the Marines. He sure did pick a great place.

Every food we ordered was awesomely great, and our server lady was super friendly. Our family all agreed we were so lucky to find this restaurant on our trip.

If you in town, traveling through the town or live in this town, I highly recommend you stop in Edchadas and get your Mexican taste buds satisfied. This place was Bomb, and I am a food connoisseur. So that is an official A grade recommendation. Good Eating to you all.

One of the best restaurants I have been to, and so unexpected in a tiny town! Crystal our server was amazing!

Came here for the first time last Saturday (July 8, 2017) with my husband. Came in and got seated right away by the bar area. Another waitress came almost immediately and brought us chips and salsa, brought us the drinks we ordered, and menus. The salsa was bland and the Dr. Pepper tasted like it had soap in it. Never mind asking for the waitress to bring another drink because she never came back to take our order. 30 minutes there and we got up and asked for the check for our drinks. Two of the waitresses started bickering back and forth about whose table we belonged two. Two other waitresses (I wish I could of got their names) were very apologetic towards how we were treated and refused to charge us for our drinks. To them thank you very much for trying to do something for us. Bottom line is we won't be back.

The restaurant was very clean the food was good and the service was outstanding !!!! I will definitely recommend to family and friends 👍

The update looks great. The Service was great the food was great and HOT, heat hot and spiced just right for me and my best friend.

Guacamole was VERY good. They were really busy and as such, service was slow. Waited almost 40 minutes to get our food after ordering. Food was pretty good. Had #12 combination--Chile relleno and cheese enchilada with beans. Liked their enchilada but not fond of their relleno. The chile was too soft; it was overcooked. I prefer mine to have a bit more "structure" and texture. Had to flag servers down to get more water and the bill but would go back if they weren't "slammed."

Yummy Yummy Yummy! Loved the spicy salsa and the hard shell beef tacos were soo good! I had to order more when I was there. Only thing I wish you all had was Diet Coke! (COKE products) or Diet Dr. Pepper. :)
