I am so sorry that some reviews are so bad. My husband and I just had breakfast this morning with our two rescued dogs. Our experience was so wonderful and enjoyed our food tremendously. Its a small cafe with enough choices to choose from. I had the most amazing chilled beets with apple soup. Fred the old gentleman whoserved us owns the place with his wife Liz was polite and charming. A little kindness goes a long way! We will be back..

Today was the last today they will be open. For years, the cottage has held the line for excellent breakfast. We will miss you dearly, and hope we have some new restaurants coming to uphold this tradition of brilliant food.

I enjoyed the quaint charming location. The staff is friendly, service was good. I had a bacon burger with salad. The salad was delicious, my kind of salad mixed greens, gorgonzola cheese, walnuts, cranberries delicious house dressing. The burger was perfectly cooked juicy flavorful with the right amount of bacon. I would definitely come here again. When you come here enjoy relax the food is worth the wait. And cell phones are suggested to refrain from..... hence be in the moment.

We own a 5-star bed and breakfast in Sonora and when my husband I have a chance to dine out our first choice is Little Cottage Cafe. Fred and Liz make a stellar breakfast…from Fred’s big, frothy white chocolate mochas to Liz’s perfectly prepared homemade pastries and hand prepared breakfasts and lunch! Their cuisine is spot on…truly delicious. Thank you for all the warm experiences at your sweet restaurant and the detail and love you put into your food! <3

This little place is truly something special. The food is always amazing, the service is personal and friendly, and the deck is so charming and comfortable. It’s homey and welcoming and consistently satisfying. We eat brunch there any chance we get.

Super amazing local favorite spot. Great coffee and espresso drinks. Great breakfast. For vegetarians get the quiche or the bfast burrito. Yum. Worth the wait if there is a line. They always have very fresh fruit.

The most quaint and peaceful setting with delicious food. No cell phones made us turn off the world and enjoy the food and company we kept. 10/10 and will come back. PS had to sneak a pic with my phone.
