This is a very quaint place with great food! The atmosphere was typical southwestern, which is what we wanted, and the service was outstanding. Now for the food. I had the cowboy steak and my wife had the cowgirl. All the sides come with it- salad with ranch which came in a big bowl to share on personal metal plates, a large piece of sweet cornbread, a cast iron pot of beans, corn on the cob and baked potatoes. All were great! The streaks were outstanding! Definately recommend, but we noticed it got very busy after sunset at the canyon.

I was trying to not let the overwhelming amount of bad reviews affect my review of this restaurant, but it has a lot of issues that they do not seem to fix. They didn’t even have the main draw available, being the rattlesnake, and it took quite awhile to even get service. Steak was costly for it being relatively poor quality meat and they never gave me the cornbread. The burger was constantly falling apart. The Steakhouse Salad’s fried zucchini was mushy, and had uncooked batter. Overall, the entire dinner was just not a good experience.

After leaving the National park. This restaurant caught our eye. I ordered the burger which was a mistake not to say it was bad but it was very subpar. My wife had the steak kabob and that was delicious. Overall pretty average food but it hits the spot when your hungry after long day of hiking. Little pricey but there's not many options so you gotta take your chances.

We were a party of 15 and almost didn't eat here because of their poor rating but decided to when they said they could accommodate us. We were seated immediately and the service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Having such a low rating our expectations were low but we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drinks. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The menu featured plenty of variety. The alcoholic drinks were strong. I don't understand why they only have a 2.8 rating but I would encourage fellow travelers to not let that prevent them from dining here. The only negative thing I have to say is the prices are a bit high but comparable to the other eating establishments nearby. It's located just down the road from the Grand Canyon so that's to be expected. I would definitely recommend this place to others and eat here again myself!

Worst experience ever with the food. I have eaten in many places but none of them bad as this one. The steak was burned on the outside and raw in the inside. To top it off, no flavor. Not even a dash of salt. The beans undercooked, the corn was overcooked and soggy with no flavor at all. The only decent was the cornbread but the ration was so tiny for each person. The fries were undercooked. Just not a very good place to eat so I do not recommend it at all.

Decent place to eat. Service was snappy. Interesting half family style and half individual menu. Basically every adult that orders a meal off the entree menu shares a large salad and bread basket and get a baker and corn each; but kids or others get individual meals with their own sides. Never seen a steakhouse do it that way. In all it was pretty OK but doesn't warrant 5 stars because it wasn't great either.

Food is decent but nothing special and overpriced for what you get. Steaks were good quality meat and properly cooked but not seasoned at all, very bland. Whoever left the review saying best cornbread ever obviously hasn't had decent cornbread before- It was mediocre at best. The "cowboy beans" were straight out of a can, no seasoning. The whole meal felt very generic. Service was fairly adequate but not great. Never got refills on drinks or offered anything after our food was brought out. Maybe they're short-staffed, like everyone else these days, but for what they charge, they should really try harder.
