My first time there today and it was amazing. The service was outstanding through the lunch hour. All the staff worked as a team. Very professional. The food was excellent. You owe it to yourself to check them out. I will be back.
Last night, for Mardi Gras, my husband and I went with a group of 18 for dinner. Despite being very busy for Mardi Gras and us having a large group, we received excellent service. Good beer and cocktail selection and some great cajun dishes make this a great addition to the Studio District. They often feature live performances by local musicians. The outdoor dining area is a wonderful place to gather with friends and family.
Everyone claims to serve authentic southern cuisine, yet are rarely ever even close to passing as a facsimile.
SwampHouse proved to be an exception to the rule and served authentic southern cuisine all the way down to the iced tea, southern fried catfish and gator po-boys.
