SOO good! I'm a vegetarian so I can't attest to their meat options but their "Vege Combo" is the bomb. This is not a quick place to eat but definitely worth the wait and the family who owns it is very friendly! Highly recommended!!

Very friendly place and the food was fabulous! The owner greeted us and helped us to decide on a menu item that had a sample of many of the dishes.

Absolutely delicious! The platters are more than large enough to share and come with several of the menu items on a delicious bread lined plate. Be sure to try the samosas as well since both the veggie and chicken versions were delightful triangles of flavor. If you can't make it down in person they also deliver through GrubHub.

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food. The owner was very friendly, and helped us pick some items off of the menu to try. The samosas were excellent. We were able to share one platter of food between multiple people. The flavors were good, and you can tell it was all made to order. It was overall a good experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to try Ethiopian food.

The food is delicious! I loved everything! Keep in mind the family here has only been in the US for a few years so they are still getting used to the American culture. The service is different because big smiles and acting like you just became friends is very Western. The lady who owns the restaurant is very nice. I left full and happy.

Wow! One of the most delicious meals I've ever had. I visited for the first time today. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean and the portion sizes were generous. Great experience!!! I will definitely return.

This is a small, locally-own restaurant, cozy and welcoming. We got the 2-person platter with tibs and it was difficult to pick our favorites. Both lentil dishes were so good, but the cabbage, beef, and chicken dishes were amazing, as well. Everyone there was so friendly. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I absolutely ADORE this place! It is our little ray of sunshine in Tulsa. We order the vegetarian plate every time and are here pretty frequently because the food is SO DELICIOUS! Best restaurant in Tulsa. Don't forget to get a pastry! :)

Unique and deliciously spicy! I'm only reserving one star for my next visit! Cafe is clean and simply appointed. Photos around the restaurant are interesting. My party selected a variety of items and we shared. Chicken and egg spicy stew; vegetable stew (mild); beef spicy stew; & vegetable combo. We also had an after dinner coffee (latte) which was good and a big, thick cookie with raisins in it & cinnamon sugar on top. Spread your fingers out and that's about how big the cookie is, encompassing your fingers and palm. We also shared a strawberry turnover. That was ok. The young couple that runs the cafe cares about your experience and they do whatever they can to enhance your experience and learning of the far away land and lifestyle. Truly enjoyable and I do recommend it!

The food was exceptional, fresh, delicious and price-friendly. However, as other reviewers have commented, expect a little wait time. Hence, plan your meal time earlier if you're heading there. Yonas - the owner and expediter - is super friendly and attentive to detail. He gladly accepts feedback and will ensure your utmost satisfaction.
