We took our 5 kids for breakfast here. The food was excellent and our waitress was fantastic! It now tops our list of favorite breakfast places!! Loved the menu variety and quality of food! The large portion sizes satisfied our teenage boys. We will definitely be back!
It was better than I imagined. My wife Mona was craving catfish and they delivered it! We also ordered a plate of onion rings with ranch. So much food and our waiter was a delight.
Went here for dinner & the food was delicious!! Great service! You get really big portions at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. Total cost $50 tip included.. *Update* Went back for all you can eat catfish party of two. Total cost $40.78
This is a place that my wife and I frequent regularly the food is always good. They have a large selection on their menu that you can always find something to eat no matter what you are in the mood for. The service is great too with a very friendly staff. The atmosphere is nothing special but it is a dinner where you can go and have a meal and talk at the table and not have to yell because the restaurant is so loud.

Me and my daughter Love Silver Skillet. We have been there several times before. Everyone is always so friendly and nice. Today I made a call in order. I got Flor on the phone. She was so sweet, kind helpful, patient and all around an Awesome person. I was very indecisive on what sides I wanted and she helped me decide. I got the two fried porch chop meal with mashed potatoes and coleslaw and a roll. The pork chops were fried to perfection. The coleslaw was very good. The mashed potatoes were Ok. They were kind of clumped together and didn’t taste real. That roll is always so good. My daughter got the two by two by two. Pancakes, sausage links, eggs and hash browns. She said it was all amazing. Those pancakes were Huge. We’ll definitely order from there again.
Absolutely loved my lunch here. Our power was out, so we were looking for something good. We got fried pickles, a Belgian waffle, fried catfish and a dinner roll. I love that they serve breakfast all day! The fried pickles were some of the best I’ve had and the waffle was delicious. Catfish was cooked well. Despite how busy it was we were in and out In a good time and our server was very friendly and attentive! Definitely will be coming back because there’s so much more I’ve got to try!
Amazing home cooking with an extremely large menu selection. This diner is a definite “must try” location. Staff is extremely friendly and the manager, Mo, will make you feel like you are right at home. The food portions are quite large. Silver Skillet is definitely on the local favorites list. I’ll continue to try the menu and post my favorites. Also, Monday-Friday 4PM till close you get a complimentary slice of pie with the purchase of an entree. I’ve only had great, great food so far. The atmosphere is relaxed; definitely swing by.
Just happened to be passing by on my way to somewhere else and decided to try some breakfast here. Gotta say the food was all cooked perfectly to order and our waitress even got us a fresh bowl of fruit when she noticed the one on the plate wasn't that good looking without us even having to ask. Service here was top notch and the menu is pretty extensive so there's something from everyone!
Our server was very nice. Thank you Mufasa! I took of 1 point for the following: It was very busy and loud. It took forever to get served and to get the check. All in all too long for us. My chorizo sausage skillet was excellent. The hashbrowns, egg and bacon also good. I didn't care for the biscuit. It was more of a roll with crust. The French toast was with raisins. It was a weekly special, but we did not ask for that. We got a regular order without problems after telling our waiter. It was all ok, but it would not be our favorite place.
Super cold in building when we ate. Found a small hair in food. Our waitress had the plate remade. Did enjoy my skillet
Went off peak. Service was good - fast. Food was good.
The Hollandaise sauce for the Eggs Benedict was generous but a tad mustardy for my liking. The Chicken fried Chicken was good.
