Review Kirin Asian Cuisine - Tulsa

Our waitress was great here. We ordered the tako salad which was big enough for two to share. The salmon sashimi was fresh and good and the spicy tuna roll with seaweed wrap was also pretty spicy and good. Only complaints were that the eel hand roll should have been heated before being served and they really need to hire another sushi chef because we waited a long time for our food. They only have two sushi chefs and the restaurant was busy.

I tried this place out last week and it is to die for. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp and I couldn’t stop eating it throughout the whole evening. the rice served along with it is also very tasty. its a little pricey but worth it. I recommend dining here.

Outstanding Beef Bulgogi with tender meat and delicious sauce. Their sushi options are impressive as well. Top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere!

The restaurant was quiet and comfortably lit for lunch. The tables were spaced to allow quite conversation without bothering your neighbor. There was a nice sushi bar with comfortable seating. The food was plated in a lovely and beautiful manner.

This was our first experience, trying to eat lunch on Thanksgiving. We chose this restaurant since all the major restaurants were packed out the doors into the parking lots. With no expectations... This place blew us away. The Tuna Poke bowl has so many flavors and ingredients, the tuna is great quality and the presentation IS matched by taste! The Sushi is delicious and the Sushi chef is fast! Pictured are the Lobster and Spider roll. Service Dog friendly; honestly staff is simply friendly all around. Beautiful, clean space with a great atmosphere. We will certainly be returning!

Good prices, good atmosphere, nice selection. Waiter was nice and attentive but seemed too new to be on his own. Portions were good, sushi didn't seem the freshest.

Great atmosphere for chatting with friends and colleagues. Food arrived soon after we ordered and was fabulous. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and love the addition of raisins!

I have been coming here since Kirin opened. I have had the sushi, miso soup, the drinks, fried rice, entrees, and appetizers. All of it has been delicious and plentiful. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean. It can get busy, but they offer to go/take out for those days when you want to enjoy your food at home. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice, and it’s in a good location. I’ve worked my way through the menu. My favorite items from there include egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, crispy sriracha chicken, and the under the sea sushi roll. Happy eating!

This place is all about the art. (This place came up under the category of romantic restaurants, and for in artistic type. It definitely fits.) The walls are decorated with a metallic sedimentary style design, showing gold, silver, copper, brass and bronze in a very reflective surface. The tiles resemble tarnished bronze. The wall design in the bathrooms looks like the bars of a DNA readout. The lamp shades are long conical cylinders with vertical slits, giving a nice sun-like light pattern on the table. The food is plated in a very artistic look, with some bowls having unique designs including a giant flower. Unlike many sushi places that give a lot of rice with very small pieces of fish making up the roll, here it's the opposite, giving you large chunks of fish with only the necessary rice to hold the roll together. The sauces are just the right amount, not overkill and not taking away from the food but instead properly adding to it. The sashimi includes nice thick cuts of fish on a bed of red beet strings which are cut angel hair thin. The use a 2 mm thin lemon slice between the different types of sashimi to further separate the flavors while adding that lemon citrus. The salads were amazing, crispy and fresh, strong flavor, while not being too big. I will say that the Amazon roll was prime flavor.

Everything about this place was perfect! The layout is super nice, the sushi is the best I’ve had in Tulsa so far! Our waitress was very attentive and welcoming. We tried their Amazing roll and Amazon roll, both we’re delicious! The chicken pad thai and shrimp fried rice were great as well. Will definitely be returning 👍🏽

Love their food! It is the best sushi we have had around Tulsa! It's the only place we go to any more! We tried two new things rolls today and they were outstanding! The Nara Roll and the Union Roll they went so good together too!

Kirin is a great place to enjoy a great meal, whether you get a quick lunch to go or a proper date night dinner inside. Their dining room is clean and aesthetically pleasing, the service is prompt and attentive, and the food is delicious! I had the cherry blossom cocktail with vodka and sake mixed together and it was strong yet refreshing! All of their sushi is plated beautifully and looks like edible art. Try it out!

Nicely decorated and busy, but we went on a holiday, so I don't know what usual traffic is like. Staff was very friendly and the food was tasty. Pictures are sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken with brown rice.

First, we had great service. The waiter made good recommendations and was genuinely excited when we enjoyed them. Drinks were refilled regularly but they didn't hover. The food was also great. I like sushi but my husband does not so we have a hard time sometimes finding good sushi with other good entrees. I got a rainbow and spider roll, he got bulgogi and steamed buns. All of it was delicious. They do make their own soy sauce, which was good but sweeter than I prefer. Pricing was on point with the quantity and quality of food received. Would definitely recommend.

I was very pleased with this place! Many traditional options of both Chinese and Korean background! Some American Asian favorites are here as well! The sushi quality is great! I really enjoyed the beef Bulgogi (I am very picky about this dish). If you are looking for the American Asian classic crispy chicken, you won't get that crunch here but if you're in it for great flavor, this is the spot!

This place is great! Great food and in a convenient and cozy spot! Thomas and the staff are very professional and friendly! They have some beautiful artwork with an interesting story. You can not go wrong here! Hidden treasure!

Best sushi I've ever had. They make their own soy sauce and other family recipes. I love this place. Nice food, nice ambience, but casual enough to feel comfortable.

Sweet and cozy. Absolutely beautiful plating, and high quality seafood. Very friendly. Great spot to sit and talk over a meal because it isn't playing really loud music.

If you haven't tried this place yet you're missing out. I've tried the food off the menu it was excellent I tried the sushi it was the best I've had in town

We had sushi, Dancing Roll , Crazy ... had Eel on top, spicy tuna roll and Singapore Noodles. Loved it !!!

Yummy! The Dancing Roll is a must. The Korean Bulgogi is the bomb and the Pad Thai is delish. Have been twice and will be back again to try something new!

Food was excellent, service was good. Definitely will be going back to try out different sushi rolls and menu items.

I enjoy sushi when we can get out for a date! We tried this place and their sushi is top notch on the freshness and creativity of rolls! From the traditional dishes to the kids meals, these guys are our new favorite sushi spot! Try the mackerel sashimi...you'll love it!
