We had a wet burrito and a smothered burrito. Both were good. The smothered burrito was stuffed with fajita meat and the wet burrito was stuffed with ground beef. I liked the ground beef the best. It was very nicely seasoned. Very Good hot sauce (ask for it)! Very Good service! If you are looking fo
Went for lunch with a group. I don't have any complaints, as with the other times I've been here in the past. I like their salsa, ask for the extra hot version. Their lunch plates are around 8 to 12 bucks and it was enough for two meals for me. Their steak is delish, I got the lunch fajita taco. Ser
Great food, friendly staff. First time and everything was great. Chips and salsa delivered as soon as we sat down. Definitely ask for the hot version, was great with the half tortilla chips. Cocktails followed up quickly; hurricane and El Patron marg are must trys. Spinach enchiladas and elote chick
We had our work holiday party at Mexicali. The food was amazing , as always. Best white queso and enchiladas in Tulsa! The wait staff was top-notch. Even with 30 people, the kitchen was able to get our orders out quickly. We had a great time!!
It’s been a few years since I’ve had a meal here and glad to say they haven’t changed, I always enjoyed their take on Mexican food. The salsa is still delicious and the pepper jack queso was great. I had a 3 way combo, the taco was very good as was the tamale and cheese enchilada. My wife liked her
I can't complain about anything just was not exceptional. The food was a little better than okay as was the service. Atmosphere was lacking but nothing that would make me not want to come back. But nothing was good enough for me to go out of my way to go back.
So the staff was fast, but a bit rude. The soup was good, but the enchilada had a bit too much sour cream for my tastes. But overall you can’t beat how fast they were and the price tag .
I haven’t dined here in years. Our waitress was amazing and nice and seemed to care how our experience was and she (Deja) is the reason they are getting a four star because she was amazing. The jalapeño pepper jack queso was wonderful, the rest of the food wasn’t anything to write home about but it
The staff is incredible, this has been a staple of Downtown for multiple decades, it's historic almost. I really enjoy the Tacos 🌮, and fresh guacamole is delicious 😋🤤, yummy adult drinks as-well. If your Downtown and looking for something good, and yet not to pricey this the spot. You will not regr
I don't think I've ever had a bad meal at Mexicali, they have a great selection of Tex-Mex that is pretty easy on your wallet and their service during the noon hour is always super speedy. My personal favorite is their Chicken Fajitas and when available their Hatch Chile Chicken Enchiladas.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere right in the arts district. Amazing service— thanks Ryan! Great experience all the way around. Definitely will be back when I’m in Tulsa!
I think 4 stars is fair. The waitress was sweet and took our order correctly. The wait from being seated to getting our order taken was too long, but our host told us the place had just gotten really busy, so it's not like we were shocked. Just hungry. My guac was browning when my quesadilla was del
The rice was good! The jalapeño queso was the highlight of the meal……which is unfortunate. But I’ve wanted to try this place. I gave a 4 star because everything about the experience was good including our server deja was great even recommended food. But the quesadilla wasn’t the best….
I recently experienced the exceptional service and mouthwatering fajitas at Mexicali Border Cafe in Tulsa, OK. The service provided was outstanding, with attentive staff members ensuring a seamless dining experience. But let's talk about the real star of the show—the fajitas! Mexicali Border Cafe ta
