Review Albert G's Bar-b-q - Tulsa

This was an awesome spot to visit. The barbecue sauce was good. The sides were solid. I would recommend the tabouli which seemed an odd choice at the time. The meat was pretty tasty. Though the service was a stand out, especially considering the layout and flow of the restaurant. They were super nice and very helpful. I wish I would have bought more meats, but it just gives me an excuse to go back. We went around seven, and I bet everything would have been even better earlier in the day. Considering a lot of the other barbecue restaurants will close earlier I think this is a solid evening choice if you want to avoid a chain restaurant.

I was recommended Albert G's by a friend who had been traveling through Tulsa. They thought the food was some of the best bbq they had tried. My husband and I tried the lunch special, which was a 2 meat sandwich with a side and drink. It is definitely some of the best bbq I have tried. I wasn't a big fan of the beans, but that is a personal preference. My husband had the sweet potato waffle fries, which he said were very good. Service was extremely fast. The food was ready by the time we found a seat. The establishment itself was very clean, and they had clean bathrooms. My only critique was the seating felt limited. That probably can't be helped because of location and they have a lot of customers. We couldn't find a trash can to throw away trash, so we had to leave our items at the table to be cleaned. It had that restaurant feel without someone coming to wait on you. Overall, I would definitely recommend Albert G's and plan to go back.

If you enjoy BBQ, all kinds, then know this is really good Oklahoma BBQ. Delicious sliced brisket and pulled pork. Fresh never frozen fried okra. Coleslaw made in house. And it's very reasonably priced to boot. We split a $17 two meat meal and pushed back from the table stuffed! I'll definitely be back! (Sorry I forgot to take a photo.)

I have been a fan of Albert G's since they opened. Great dry rub ribs! The ribs are so good you don't need sauce. Awesome hot links and some of the best smoked turkey you will find. The best tabouli in Tulsa. My least favorite meat is the beef brisket. But, it was my mom's favorite after Wilson's on Apache. Unfortunately Wilson is no longer. I could go on about the smoked chicken special or the other sides.

Very nice place, clean and a great staff. The chopped beef and bologna were very good, the coleslaw was just okay and the okra was just shy of great, needed to be hotter and crispier. Tasted a few of my table mate’s dishes and they were all good.

Ok guys this is a late post, but I was going to go to the LAST day of the Fair Sunday, but just couldn't bring myself to it. So I decided to take the funds I would have spent t the Fair and get me and the fam some BBQ. Our order was big. Slab of Ribs, Half of Chicken, Chicken wings two flavors, a two choice meal with more ribs and hot links, sides Mac & Cheese, Cole slaw & Beans (the Mac & Cheese was so good we got another pint, just for us) all in all spent about $90 + dessert + Beer (while we waited) so about $120-$130. It was takeout, so we checked the bag, but found when we made it home the slab of ribs and half of chicken was NOT there and we had pulled Pork (NEVER ORDERED). Hubby had to drive all the way back and about time he made it home we were all starving, so what happened!!!!! I FORGOT TO GET PICTURES 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, but no worries guys THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. So I will definitely be back!!!!

Went for dinner with family to celebrate a birthday and had a terrific experience: prompt service, great food and the owner Oliver was very nice, locating the game we wanted to watch on the tv and making sure everything was good. Sadly later that night l realized we had accidentally left behind on the table a gift envelope with some cash in it. I called the next day and Oliver said he had found it and would happily to return it to me. Not only is the honesty much appreciated, the fact that he was detailed enough to see it rather than easily tossing it with the trash tells me they pay attention! Thank you to this restaurant for the recovery and kindness. A Tulsa treasure ❤️💙💛 Also: looove their sauce! The smoked chicken and ribs are divine 🤤

This is a pretty good spot! The ribs were awesome! Bite off the bone (if you know you know) and st. Louis style with a twist! Brisket was flavorful and good but not quite my favorite. The pulled pork was on the dry side but had a healthy smoke ring which tells me they atleast know what they are doing! Side were great and the staff was friendly! Very clean and comfortable environment. Ill be back to give em another try!

They're customer friendly and you matter. They have handled certain issues with poise. Unlike some other restaurants who've had the tenacious behavior to challenge the customers. They want you to enjoy their food.

Best barbecue (other than my son') in a VERY LONG time. The young lady that took my order was courteous, helpful, and friendly. Will be returning here again.

Second time here, the food is good. A bit pricey. The Mac and cheese was a bit dry, but overall good experience. The place is well kept and clean! The staff is nice!

Good BBQ. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean. Wouldn't mind coming back here if I'm feeling BBQ.

The ABSOLUTE BEST! A benchmark for Tulsa barbecue!! I'm definitely kicking myself for living in Tulsa area for decades and not trying this place until now! We came here for the first time last week and have returned to eat again today and they did not disappoint! It was a five-star experience on every level but here are the highs, for me: **THE FOOD: Ummm...flippin delicious!! I ordered a half-dozen smoked wings, coleslaw and a single rib. I can't say enough about the wings! That first bite is heavenly! Crisp skin on the outside and juicy on the inside. The coleslaw is mayo-based and on the runny side - and it's done really well. It is slightly sweet, just like good coleslaw should be. The rib meat came off the bone clean and had beautiful bark and smoke ring. The bite of mac and cheese my niece shared with me was surprisingly good and I would consider it a solid side choice for my next trip. **SERVICE: Super duper friendly, fast and accurate! You order and pay at the counter and they bring it to your table (what do you call that? Fast casual? Demi-service? Idk...) Payton was our order taker and brought our food out. He was fun and friendly but didn't intrude on our meal. He made our visit a very positive, memorable one! **ATMOSPHERE: The Harvard location is nestled in a converted gas station that you might otherwise just drive right past if you're not looking for it. On the inside it is tastefully decorated with vintage gas station decor and plenty of wood trim. Comfy, casual, cozy. All in all, Albert G's (Harvard) has earned a spot on my list of go-to Tulsa restaurants. A great place to take out-of-towners! And they are open on sunday's, which is rare for good barbecue places in this town. Important note: This applies only to the Harvard location. I have been to the downtown location but will NOT return. Ever. Night and day difference and I'll leave it at that. Happy eating!

Food is always great, my family really likes their smoked turkey breast. They also make the best tabouli around.

Really good food and the staff is really great here. They always come around asking how everything is and the atmosphere is great as well. I would definitely recommend trying it for yourself.

ill try them again just to be sure..my first visit today.. had heard such rave reviews ..was a bit disappointed.. my ribs were extremely dry and chewy , good smoke flavor tho..bbq sauce little bland for me..i like spicy.. my beans were mostly some kind of mush very few beans actually.. so next time.. maybe better ? love to give you my bean recipe and bbq sauce guys.. BUT people there.. were awesome smiling quick ! easy in and out..that is great and the remodel is looking GOOD !

Great Brisket, great place, decent prices, and just a great place to eat...

This place has some of the best meat in town hands down! Friendly staff and good service too. My favorite location is the one off 28th and Harvard. Yummy for my whole family. Thanks for loving what you do guys!

Best BBQ in Tulsa. The downtown location is really nice. Great place for weekday lunch, happy hour, dinner or to watch a game in the bar! The wings and nachos are great twists on traditional BBQ fare. I can't recommend this place enough!

Food is always good and they have a few beers on tap now. Fat tire is one of them if any fans of that beer are curious!

First time eater today. The pulled pork was excellent. Potato salad was awesome. And the sauce was unreal, coming from a skeptical bbq sauce eater. Absolutely on my lunch list. Good job.

Just had the chopped brisket sandwich and potato salad for lunch. It was as good or better than Burnco at a lot less $$$. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu!

The two meat selection was more than filling! The best baked beans I had in Tulsa. The price was well worth the serving size.

Albert G's had our catering order ready right on time. The ribs were lovely, the smoked, sliced brisket and turkey were tender and smoky. The tabouli, potato salad and baked beans were great. Thanks, Rochelle, for getting it exactly right. We love Albert G's!

I was there the day y'all opened for business. I worked around the corner on 31st. It was amazing then and amazing now. They actually bought my food for being one of the first ones in there. Y'all got a good thing going. Bets wishes.

I am a BBQ expert �� this was my first time there. Easily the best ribs and brisket in Tulsa. Hands down.

i had dinner at the Downtown location, the BBQ was tuff and worse..was COLD, i have never been served COLD ribs..wow what a complete letdown..my Taboli was good ..35.00 buck down the drain..Tip>>WARM it up in a microwave" smh why was i eating bbq downtown any how...i knew better..

Everything was great especially the nachos. Will be returning!!
