First time here, the best food and experience! They were super busy, but still have plenty of attention to each customer. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Tulsa.

Love this restaurant & the food! It’s such a nice refreshing menu, with lots of options! Everything is always tasting so fresh - and the outdoor seating is so relaxing & looks so clean!
Carol Cooper
Good restaurant for casual breakfast and lunch type food. Hamburger we had was good and so was the chicken salad. Service was great. And Union square happen to be having a concert while we ate outside which was great. Interesting little area in Tulsa.

My favorite place to eat in Tulsa for every meal of the day! Best breakfast in town! I usually get the scrambler or some daily special although you can't beat the basic breakfast and best pancakes in town, too! The tuna or egg salad is a favorite for lunch! I love the daily special salads and then the desserts and coffee!!! So many yummy desserts to choose from! I also love their lattes and homemade syrups! My favorite to date was the basil peach latte :)
We love the patio and taking our dog! Everyone is so kind to us and our dog! The staff is spectacular.

This is a very quaint little cafe. Love the decor and the quirkiness of it. Now let's talk about the food. The food is really outstanding. I've actually been back to the the restaurant because I liked it so much. The pancakes are so fluffy good flavoring. The bacon taste like a quality bacon it actually is full of flavor. The eggs have a good color to them like they are fresh. Everything is just really good quality and then you've got all of the baked goods. Just so many baked goodies to choose from whether it's breakfast or lunch. You can take some for after dinner. Or a special occasion there is cakes and pies to choose.

Delicious experience! We stopped in for a few pastries and I will say that every bite was enjoyed. A little pricy for what you get but it is Utica Square. Staff was sweet. The tomato tart was probably our favorite, unexpected savory goodness, and something I’ve not really seen at other places. It’s fun getting to sit outside on a nice weather day.
Katy Gaskill
We had a great time grabbing brunch here this morning. The hostess was very sweet and got us seated at the best table outside. I loved that there were blankets and heaters available as it was a little chilly this morning. It took no time at all to get our food, and it was delicious. Waiter frequently checked in on us and made sure we had fresh hot coffee. Will definitely be back!
Keisha Tyler
Southwestern grilled cheese with chips, pickle and coffee..... You have to try it. Lots of dessert options very clean and fun atmosphere or our waitress was awesome. I took home a banana caramel slice of cake it's delicious.
John Walker
Salad dressing is the bomb. Quiche was good and mimosa was good too. Good portions.
Receptionist is dry and does not make you feel welcome. Then just points you to your table after the wait. Slow start overall but iced water was quick. Drinks person was great but food service was slow and not very attentive. Probably not staff's fault as they seemed to not have enough.
Patio seating is nice, nice venue.

Good fresh well prepared food. Breakfast is unique and yummy.
Came back for lunch. Great BLT and very fresh Cesare. There cakes pies, and cookies rival any bakery-just excellent. All set in a pleasant airy locale, clean and well staffed. Can't go wrong here on all counts
Laura Burcham
I love stopping in on my lunch break for quiche or a sandwich. The food is always delicious. There is sometimes a wait for a table but luckily they will text you when the table is ready and you can visit the other shops at Utica Square.
Maggie Kuch
This is a favorite spot of mine for lunch, great lunch menu and everything I havd tried is delicious! Dessert are great to share, as well. I like the option of indoor/outdoor seating and service was quick and friendly!
Tia
Very nice atmosphere and staff. I was seated promptly and our server “Eric”was awesome. I had scrambled eggs with avocado slices and oatmeal with fresh fruit. Delicious food and quick service.
Hello Hello
Eric was amazing and the sexy hostess. Everything about this place is top notch

I’ve been going to Queenie’s for 10-15 years and can confidently say it’s one of the best breakfast/lunch places in Tulsa. They have a beautiful front porch in the middle of Utica Square and all of their employees are super nice and respectful. The food is insanely tasty. Their sandwiches are thick and hearty, you’ll always be full leaving this place. My wife and I got the super egg salad sandwich and the bacon avocado turkey sandwich. Both are winners. If you’ve never treated yourself to Queenie’s you need to head Dow to Utica Square asap.
Ben Reidmiller
Took my mom here for Mother’s Day and it did not disappoint. We had the eggs Benedict special and a French omelette that was also on special. Both tasted great and we washed it down with a mimosa. Great service / food / atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
Debi George
Queenies is the best girls lunch date and the best sweetheart breakfast date and the best maple banana treat cake for your staff! Yummy food and great atmosphere! One of my favorites!
JoEllyn Yeates Martin
We chose Queenies for lunch during our wedding anniversary weekend getaway to Tulsa and LOVED it! Made from scratch soup, tomato tart and bacon & mushroom quiche were delicious. You can taste the quality ingredients and care in every bite. Highly recommend!!
Sabrina Peterson
The waiters are condescending and there were only three other small tables taken. I ordered a coffee and the cup wasn’t clean - had things floating at the top and around the edges. I won’t be coming back. There are plenty other great restaurants with much better service.
Tammy Bowen
Food was good!! Service was horrible!!!! Had to chase down someone to pay my bill..literally. Manager was NOT accommodating!!!!! The place is a joke if you want to sit down and eat...no room, long waits. Never going back
Skylar Ray
Had the best patio dinner this evening at Queenie's! Attentive service (thanks, Adam!), delicious burgers, and the most incredible carrot cake
Carmen White Janak
My Queenies experience is always great. My fave server, Adam always greats me with a warm smile. My chicken salad and key lime cookies on point per usual. Heather, it was great seeing you.
Corey Hunt
I got the queenies burger. It was made how I asked and very good. There desserts are amazing and the people that work there are very nice! Highly recommended!!
Gary Pat Davis
one of my old time favs. Great chicken salad ,egg salad, grilled cheese, key lime tarts. I have loved this place for over 25y!
Cindi Ann Eells-Robertson
Best place in Tulsa for a anytime treat! Breakfast or lunch & a great place to meet for COFFEE!!! 😋
Courtney Ann
I love this place so much! The Sante Fe Grilled Cheese, and pretty much everything is amazing. If I could complain about anything it's that they don't have personal slices of the strawberry angel food cake every single day because it's the best! ❤️
Misha Buzlea
Service wasn't that great, and the prices for the food is outrageous for what you get. The food was very plain.
Jennifer Evers Holloway
We tried one of each fall/pumpkin-ish item in the pastry counter this weekend and they were all to die for - the muffins, cookies, empanadas, cake, and mini-pies. Oh my word! So delish - We love Queenies!
Johnny Ivy
The food is great and the atmosphere was great can’t wait until next time!!!!!
Casey Coman
Loved this place since I was ten! I even had my first job here Faves are the tomato tart and chocolate chip cookies!
Brandon Laney
Some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Overall great tasting breakfast w/ the scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Plus it has a good atmosphere/setting.
Steven Porter Seville
Outstanding! Extensive menu, creative combinations, everything was fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced and a friendly and helpful staff. ..
Angie
I took another reviewer's advice and ordered the turkey grilled cheese with crispy bacon and I was definitely impressed. It was amazing! The chips were meh and the pickle was a little soggy but it didn't matter, the sandwich was all I could see. My boyfriend got the chicken salad which was fairly tasteless and hard to handle and a slice of Italian Cream Cake which was good. But that sandwich....!!!!
Brittany Marie
Was not what I expected at all! Wanted a quick outing with baby for breakfast. Does not serve breakfast after 10am. There are no highchairs. Zero non dairy options. My boyfriend's burger was over prices and did not even taste good!will not be returned.
Rachel Wanzer
Queenies has the most amazing grilled cheese you will ever have! Get the grilled cheese with turkey and ask for extra crispy bacon for added crunch. Also don't skip the special sauce it gives just the right amount of zing. Also try the chocolate cake - it's super rich but to die for!
OkieALaMode
Great place to stop for a snack, dessert, or a light lunch. It is nice to sit outside, even on a hot day because they have fans going. My group experienced good service and our drinks are kept full. Everyone liked their dessert although the cake slices were big enough to have shared. The lunch dishes we saw go by looked really good. My only criticism would be that it seemed proceed a little high for what you got. It is in Utica Square though, so that isn't surprising.
Ted
Hamburger. Great buns Kim.

The most consistently great food in Tulsa.. Like many others, I have been eating here several times a week since Ruth Young opened this fine establishment in the 80's.
If you care about quality ingredients, world class recipes and delicious food this is the place.
The bakery items are made with real butter, eggs are local, as is the always perfectly prepared chicken which is hormone and antibiotic free. The produce is often organic, an extreme rarity in Tulsa.

The word wholesome comes to mind.

The recipes are phenomenal, with an international flair informed by Ruth's extensive travel.
Queenies has a solid basic menu for breakfast, lunch and early dinner including for example the best possible chicken salad and an array of grilled cheese sandwiches. But it is the chalkboard specials that really keep it interesting. Maria's Chicken Tacos, Indian Spring Salad are a couple of faves, but the variety is endless and always delightful.
My favorite meal at Queenies is the Sunday Brunch. The specials always include amazing variations on eggs benedict and delicious mexican egg specials.
The bakery department is as good as it gets with cakes, cookies and pies to die for.

Sure you can find cheaper places to eat, and you might have to wait a few minutes to be seated in one of Tulsa's favorites, but Queenies is always worth it.
Joanie Hughes
Was not impressed. Went for Sunday breakfast. The menu was very minimal and there were very few options for people with diet restrictions. But the worst thing was when they brought my " basic breakfast" plate there was a dish of ketchup sitting in the middle of my plate. UGH really? Ketchup is not a breakfast condiment. When we asked the waiter for salsa he looked at me like I was from Mars and stated " I don't think we have that" but of course didn't go ask even though on the menu it clearly stated that you could have salsa for an extra $1 charge. Definitely a low place on the Tulsa food scene.
Kellyk
Grilled cheese...every time!. Grilled cheese with special J sauce is fantastic! Minus the tomato! :)
Kdawg
Worst Service EVER -- Will NOT GO BACK!. So first of all the quiche is insanely over-priced, but I ordered half of one and she told me it would be $19 then when I checked out, somehow tax is all of the sudden $10 because she asked for $30 and change... So when I started to ask her about the difference she picked up the phone and told me "HOLD ON" --- Seriously?! I'm trying to pay you, but the people on the phone are more important? I'm sorry but that's RUDE and I left. I went to Antoinette's Bakery on Peoria and their quiche and it was better tasting and LITERALLY HALF the PRICE!! I will NEVER go back to Queenies!!

Fifth Night with Mid Life Crisis. So the wife and I decided to get a sandwich from Queenies while we watched the band. Patronize U.Sq. merchants and all..... We got two chicken salad sandwiches, two bottled waters, and six cookies. $30+. Really? The sandwiches were over stuffed in a couple of slices of plain grocery store bread so most of the chicken fell out. No wrapper around the sandwich, no napkin in the box, just chips, pickle and sandwich thrown in the box. The water was warm. Cookies thrown in a brown paper bag. The food was OK, but nothing special, and missing basic amenities like utensils and napkins. Way overpriced for what was delivered. Could have gotten better food for 1/3rd the price at McD's. Never again.
Katie
It's very yummy I've only had 1 negative experience this waiter told me the dessert wasn't good and pestered me when I ate it (delicious btw) and saved some for the trip Very sweet lady there 4/5 stars
Debbie
Extremely disappointed!!! I stopped by at 730pm to bring my husband in for a piece of cake. When my husband opened the door he asked if they were open? They staff looked up but didn't say anything, when I came to the door they told us they were closed. Which would be fine if the girl didn't look at us and snicker. There is no sign posted so we had no idea. I do not think treating someone like they are dumb for asking if you are open is very good customer service. I feel for the person that owns the establishment. The people working here obviously do not care. Then again it is their responsibility to train their team better.
Rebeccahd23
Queenies galore. Visiting Tulsa for the weekend and a big fan of breakfast. Live in Austin, tx and often go to Kerby lane.A friend told me to check out queenies. Definitely worth it. Apple cinnamon pancake was so fluffy, not too sweet, magical. Vegetarian Omlet ingredients were very fresh. Waiter was nice and attentive and looked like Eljah Wood so what's not to love.
Peterson.taylor
WASTE OF MY TIME!!. I never understand the hype for Queenies. I decided to get some breakfast before work today and it took 30 minutes to get my to go order. Not only was my quiche cold in the center but the fruit cup it came with that was terribly overpriced tasted like dirt. (like it had been sitting in the display case for a good 2 or 3 days) I never leave there spending less than $10.00 for a basic meal, nothing special. It is definitely over rated for my taste.

My Jam. Queenies is my jam... when i was away at college, all i wanted to do was come home and have brunch at Queenies. The staff is phenomenal and more like family, some of them have been there for as long as i can remember, where did i go for a light lunch with the girls while we got ready for proms, home comings and weddings? Queenies! Where do i go on a rainy afternoon when i need a grilled cheese (the best in tulsa, really)? Queenies! Where do i go when im craving the perfect tuna salad sandwich? Queenies! The only bad thing about this place is the weird bread they serve with salads... i cant stand that stuff... but i love Queenies!
Rick
I tried. On my first attempt to eat here I arrived just after 7 and they were already closed. I came back about 11:45 the next morning and it was packed (all women) with people standing and waiting for tables to open up. It's very tiny place with several tables inside and a few outside. Timing is important if you want to get a seat, but it's clearly a very popular place.
Kay
This place does no wrong.
Linsey Yates
My new favorite!! Awesome all the way around....
Natalie
Always have been a fan of queenies... Been coming here with family since I was a teenager. Went in this past Friday morning and was really disappointed. Ordered the breakfast sandwich which arrived cold. After 12 dollars later for my breakfast and a soda, I decided this place was best left in the past with my fond family memories.
Bobsuruncle
I don't know exactly why I didn't like it. Maybe it was the fact that they don't toast the bread for a classic blt sandwich. Maybe it was the crappy potato chips or the $2.50 lemonade. Maybe it is the overpriced cost. Idk but I'm not going back.
Marsonda48
Disappointed with Chicken Salad Sandwich. I've enjoyed Queenies off and on for 10 years or longer. Today I went there on my way to Bath & Body Works. I found an empty table near the windows. I ordered the chicken salad on wheat bread. I've always liked their chicken salad.

Today I was rather disappointed. The majority of the chicken salad was chopped celery, way too much celery. The chicken was in too big chunks making it difficult to keep it on the bread. Too much lettuce on the sandwich but at least it was good green leafy lettuce. The wheat bread was actually wheat berry. If their chicken salad had more chicken and less celery and add more green onions, it would be much better. The pickle spear served was mushy and the potato chips were just plain old Lays. For the price of the meal, surely kettle cooked type potato chips could be used or maybe pita chips.

I hadn't been to Queenies for about a year or so and was surprised to see an increase in prices. My chicken salad sandwich was $8.25.

Service was quick and efficient even though they were busy. I just wish Queenie's could expand, it is a very tiny place with small tables too close together.

I ordered some chocolate crinkle cookies to go. They are so good, melt-in-your mouth goodness! So super kudos to the bakery! :-)
Leesa
Yummy food but since it's in Utica Square it's pricey. Very small place. I had never been here so wasn't sure if we were supposed to wait to be seated or what. Luckily, the lady with me had been here before so she knew we could go ahead & seat ourselves. It was a cold, rainy Wednesday about 12:10 pm & there were actually 2 open tables so we grabbed one. They have a few tables outside too.
Lots of carry-out orders while we were there.
They offer sandwiches (along with some grilled cheese varieties), hamburgers, quiches, soup of the day along with wonderful cookies, muffins, cakes, pies, etc.
I had the bacon & cheese quiche $8.50 (very very good & stood about 2-3 inches tall) which came with a cup of chopped fruit (grapes, strawberries, orange, apples, grapefruit ) & it was very good & fresh. My friend had the Santa Fe grilled cheese sandwich$7.50 (one of her favorites) & it came with fruit & a pickle spear.
I recommend you try this place but be prepared to pay a little more to eat here...I do want to say it was very good food & the wait staff was
friendly & attentive. We had a good time!
Hunter Adams
Not worth it. When we went there, it was packed. Not a single table available. We decided what we wanted and while we were at the register ordering she asked if it was for here or to go. We wanted it for here but since there are not any tables available we would order it to go and see if a table opens up.

We waited and waited and finally a table opened up. We sat down and waited for our food. Wait what do you mean we cannot sit at a table if we ordered our food to go? We cannot change from a to go order to a dine in order? The next time this happens could you tell before hand that you do not allow people to do that. Could you post a sign? If there is a sign somewhere could you make it big enough for people to notice it when ordering?

Something about having a toddler spill his beverage all over your clothes and bags, because that toddler is trying to eat his lunch in his lap. Something about having to sit on a park bench and stare at open tables you cannot dine on just makes you never want to go back to a place.

The food is okay. The dessert is decent. The serious lack of customer service makes it not worth it.
OKCFoodie
Chicken Salad. This place is the bomb. I just moved to Tulsa and it's already where I'm taking everyone for lunch at least once when they come visit me. Yes, it's elbow to elbow, yes it's loud and yes there is usually a wait-but the food comes out fresh, in a timely manner, every time regardless. The staff knows how to handle the crowds. You should probably not go here if your break is 30 minutes but if you have an hour... can't miss it.
Flint
Nothing to review. Disappointed that we arrived at 10:40 on a Saturday to find that breakfast was no longer an option. I don't know many people dying for lunch at 10:40 on the weekend. We drove across town to Dilly Deli, and it was fantastic.
Larry Hawkins
Going down hill. I've been a customer for 20 years was always great , the last three times
Have been terrible poor service, cold food and poor quality I'm sorry to say
I will no longer be a patron, looking for something that delivers
Good service and food
Bella Brooks
Very good food! Excellent people and it also has a cool laid back vibe with interesting artwork. My only setback is that it is definately over priced and can be very crowded.
Natural John
Suprisingly small?. My first visit to Queenie's. I wanted to see what all the rave was about? I was very surprised on how small it was inside. It seemed very cramped and tables were small and close together. I was confused on whether to order at the counter or sit down. I later learned I was supposed to sit down like a regular restaurant. I had my doubts until I got served my lunch. Wow! It was really good and very fresh.

I later learned that they make and bake it all in house. The black bean soup was outstanding and the Lime Sour Cream Pie was just what I needed to cool off on a hot summer day. It is defiantly worth a visit to experience for yourself
Caroline Snyder
Desserts were great. Very well balanced. I had a Sour Cream Lime Tart and a Banana Cake with Caramel icing. The lime wasn't overpoweringly sour and the banana cake was very moist and good. And the caramel icing- to die for!
Hannah Everston
Great everything! Love it.
CP
Great food; bad service. Everything I've had here from breakfast, lunch, dessert, specials---it's all delicious. Unfortunately, each and every visit has poor service....I mean really poor service. Very slow to respond to your table, no high chairs which says "kids not welcome", unfriendly staff. The food has kept us (and many others) returning, but it's such a shame that it enables the poor service to continue. :-(
Heather Prescott
Good Food - Over priced. Even for Utica Square this place is pricey - $10.00 for a sandwich and a bag of chips with a pickle - Their food is excellent - Awesome chicken salad and cakes to die for - staff is always friendly - they can only get away with these prices though because they are in Utica Square - but I digress I order (TAKE OUT) often as I work a 1/2 mile away - dont EVER go there if you dont call ahead -eating there would be a nightmare unless you show up for lunch at 10:30 am
Jenny
If this place ever closes. I think I might cry. The pastries are wonderful and the sandwiches are perfect. Yes, it can get crowded at times so it's not the place to stop in for a "quick bite" on the weekend, but if you have the time it's worth braving the crowds. There is a reason they are there!
Kyle
Ehh... A little too pricey for a small cheap sandwich and small bag of one flavor lays potato chips put in a fancy box, may be great for the local libbys but at least I could have got cheetos if I had went to subway. Go if you want a good desert or cake, but not if you want to get a full stomach at a good price.

Updated review.. Kay I have to tell ya that you must have come now that things are a little different. The THD report from last year might have caused you to think twice about your statement. The recent report below looks like they have cleaned things up a bit!!
http://tulsa.ok.gegov.com/_templates/125/Food%20Inspection/_report_full.cfm?ispub=1&inspectionID=921051&parentTableName=tblInspection&dsn=DHD_125&domainid=125
I dined here recently. Lots of customers = Great place!. I recently stopped at Queenies to buy a cake for my son's birthday party. Everytime I'm at Queenies there are ALWAYS lots of customers. Every item on the menu is made from scratch and has it's own unique flavor. But today, it's the cake, which was a huge success with no leftovers, everyone loved it! Queenies is a great place to meet up with friends for lunch. I highly recommend Queenies, you will not be disappointed.

Great bakery/cafe, delicious eggs benedict. Actually a small bakery with interesting art that serves some good grub tucked the Utica Square Shopping Center, with some balmy sidewalk tables overlooking the gardens. Since it was only 107* outside we ate at a small table inside in the front window. Busy place, large glass display case with some very tempting pastries and desserts, although we were here for breakfast. I think the bakery is known for their amazing desserts mainly, as they have quite a selection such as carrot cake, cookies, orange butter cream cake and the like.
They've also got lots of sandwiches and the chicken and egg salad sandwiches looked great! Two young women devoured a piece of what looked like a decadent German chocolate cake.
I had a fantastic eggs benedict with home fries suggested by the perky waitress...probably the best I have had in Tulsa.Homemade Hollandaise sauce was sublime and the eggs perfectly cooked, NOT overdone and hard with tender Canadian Bacon. They proudly use local, organic, free range chicken and eggs as well as local breads, coffee, and meats.
Perfect local bakery/restaurant nearby for a very pleasant meal.
Nimota92
One of my favorites. There's a reason why it's always packed in there, the food is really good. The turkey grilled cheese is amazing, and the service is great.
Jennifer McCrea
Very VERY tiny and busy place. Nice menu, hope the food is good while I wait to go back to the hospital. Awesome bakery!

Absolutely loved this place! We ate the tuna salad sandwich & turkey grilled cheese. Finished a great lunch with the blueberry almond tart and the lime tart. Everything was delicious and at such great prices! This is a must stop place if you are in Tulsa.

Long Live The Queen!. I love this place. It is a friendly atmosphere with fast kind service. During the warm weather you can sit back and enjoy eating outdoors under their well shaded tables while drinking all the ice tea you desire. Their breakfast is great. My favorite is the simple Oatmeal Bowl topped with lots of fresh fruit. Or for lunch you can enjoy their soup and salad. The various sandwishes will satisfy you with a side of the delicious bakery well displayed in a glass case. Lets go to Queenies this Sunday before or after Church Service.

Queenie's is a must try. If you like good food, attentive staff and quaint settings than Queenie's is a place you need to try. My wife and I discovered Queenie's a few months ago and have been going back every chance we get. We love Queenie's for breakfast and visit several times a week but their sandwiches and desserts for lunch are to die for too. The wife loves the egg salad sandwich, I usually go for the Reuben however I've tried several different sandwiches and have never been disappointed. We especially like the friendly staff and enjoy sitting out on the sidewalk patio weather permitting.
Greg Powell
Super small, always a line; however that adds to the appeal for those wanting a deli style meal tht feels like an east coast diner. Queenies quiche is worth the wait! A Tulsa staple really
Burt
So so. The breakfasts are a little smaller than what I'd expect for the price- even for Utica. Also a little bland.
Mmmgood
A favorite anytime of day. From the granola and yogurt, to the sausage and eggs at breakfast, you can't go wrong at Queenie's. The hamburger, the egg salad (especially with bacon), grilled cheese, and chicken salad are always delightful! The staff is wonderful and friendly and of course there is the patio! We love to eat outside!
W.m.hodges
Mr.. They attempt to cook "healthy".
Understand they now use "range chickens" instead of Arkansas castoffs.
MC2
Some of my best lunches were eaten here.. If you can't get a seat, take it to go. This is one of the best lunch spots in Tulsa. Beautiful setting in Utica Square and a spot on the patio is the best seat in nice weather. They have great quiche and sandwiches of all sorts. And, you have to get a cookie or slice of dessert.
Ktp
Great Little Place.... Excellent breakfast, not greasy at all. Try the daily specials, especially the scrambles and huevos rancheros (when they have them)

Lunch is great, too. The special sandwich for the day is always a good choice as is the ultra egg salad, pastrami & swiss, and santa fe grilled cheese.

Dessert is always a must. If you are a chocolate cake fan, try the Black Magic Cake... best choc. cake in Tulsa!
Bekahsct
Nothing will disappoint here. Connsistently good. Great sandwhiches, burgers, daily specials. Weekend specials are particularly good as is the sour cream lime tart
Fletch
Terrific fare. Try the BLT. Light, healthy food and great desserts. Good service, especially the ornery dame who often works the register. You'll know.
OkieDokie
Great shopping break. Wonderful sandwiches and deserts. Try the ultra egg salad or the santa fe grill cheese. Great cakes for desert.

Best sandwiches. Whether you like it hot or cold, Queenie's has the sandwich for you. Don't pass up the ultimate egg salad, topped with crispy bacon. Chicken salad is simple - mayo, celery and chicken - but delicious. However, the "Cheese Dream," with bacon, tomatoes, red onion and green chilies, is unforgettable. Don't leave without a giant snickerdoodle cookie.
APenneForMyThoughts
The quiche here is amazing. It is creamy and the crust is delectable. The bacon is not floppy at all and gives the quiche an amazing bacon flavor that doesn't overpower the quiche. The tomato tart's crust is the most amazing thing. It is like a not sweet shortbread. The rich crust goes well with the tart tomatoes. It is such a delicious and well balanced dish. With both the quiche and the tart, the salad is actually really useful. Because both dishes are very rich, it is nice to be able to take a bite of each dish with some of the fresh greens. It helps to counterbalance both the tart and the quiche. The grits are amazing creamy cheesiness and they are exactly what cheese grits should be. Desserts- We also ordered these cookies that were essentially shortbread cookies with jam in the middle. I asked and they apparently change the jam flavors around but we got raspberry. Oh my word. It was rich and the raspberry counterbalanced the buttery cookie so well. Heaven in a cookie. A couple of weeks before this, I also got their Strawberry Cream Cake which is a butter cake with whipped cream and berries. It was amazing. The cake was perfectly fluffy and tasty. The whipped cream was not overpoweringly sweet and the sweet and acidic berries helped to counterbalance the swee

So for our first visit…early Saturday morning…we visited…. Queenie's Plus. I have to tell you…based on the name, I thought we'd be visiting a breakfast diner in a so-so area of town. So when I saw the addresss..Utica Square…I knew something about my perception didn't fit.
