Shawkat's Pita Bread Bakery - Tulsa - Photo album

For years I've driven down Sheridan Rd and passed by Shawkat's and always intended to stop by at some point to eat. Well, today was the day and MAN have I been missing out. This place is a true hidden gem! Best Mediterranean food I've eaten in a LONG time! Fantastic flavors, amazing service and
We stopped for lunch and had great food! We got Jake special (cokes with chicken skewer and kafta), side of falafel, zaatar bread, and Turkish coffee. The kafta skewer had way more flavor than the chicken skewer. Chicken was a little dry. I wish I had order the kafta meal instead. Hummus was a litt
The food is always delicious and the staff is super friendly. Always taking to the time to explain what's in a dish or make recommendations. Everything I've had there has always been fantastic. They have a really good selection of vegan dishes too!
As a Lebanese, I rarely find good Lebanese food, but honestly I was amazed with the food quality , quantity and taste, true authentic Lebanese cuisine. In addition, they have excellent service, always smiling even in rush hours! Highly recommended for Mediterranean food, you wouldn’t regret it 😍
Expected a sit down restaurant by but it's more of a counter service. Food was exceptional and very flavorful. We would definitely consider eating here again if we were in town. They also serve American food.
The family is so welcoming and caring with their customers. Thry always strive to give great service and delicious Lebanese food. Very yummy! I highly recommend Shawkat's. Also, a real bakery of Arabic pocket bread. Great to take some home with you.
Vegan options galore and so freaking delicious. The baklava had a hint of rose! 😍
Service was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were welcomed like family. The food was absolutely amazing. So tasty and fresh. I can't recommend enough. Our family has a new favorite restaurant in Tulsa.
Ordered over the phone but should have gone in - some of the food in the case looked great! Hummus was smokey and good, glad I ordered extra pita. The chicken kabobs were good but I loved the rice it came with, so good!!
Food was on point! An entire menu exclusive to vegan options is available! Prices were very reasonable, 10/10, I will %100 be coming back here next time I'm in Tulsa.
Best Lebanese restaurant west of the Mississippi. Authentic food and friendly staff. Food was ready quickly.
(Disclaimer: I have received no promotion or incentive for this review.) Best Mediterranean food in town. Generous portions and always fresh. My wife’s family has been coming here for years and quality has been 10/10 since day one. You can’t go wrong!
Very delicious authentic Middle Eastern food, I had one of the best Arabic food here. Come for breakfast you're not gonna regret it. Plus very friendly staff.
First time here, and the food was so good! Friendly staff, easy ordering. Atmosphere is a little lacking, most tables were taken but 2 were occupied by misc stuff and not available to other customers.
I expected a more formal setting for a Mediterranean restaurant. The food was great, but had to go to the counter to pick up the menu & place an order. Nice and peaceful though.
Hands down the best falafel in town. If you like Mediterranean cuisine, Shawkat’s is a must.
Don’t go there for there for the atmosphere…go there for the best Mediterranean/Lebanese food you’ll have in Tulsa…Cabbage rolls…amazing. Chicken skewers…so good. Hummus…none better. Tabouli…buy more.
