I tried the $5 burger special tonight after hearing about it in a local food group. I was not disappointed!
I called ahead to confirm the special was today and they were super friendly over the phone. Took my order and told me it would be 10 minutes.
When I walked in 5 minutes before close to pick it up the staff was as friendly as if they had just opened for the day. It's been years since I visited but I remember how great the staff was back then. That hasn't changed.
I got my order to go and 2 meals came to $10.86. It was worth every penny and then some.
The fries are probably frozen but no matter, they were perfect and delicious. Normally I hate Styrofoam containers for fries because they get soggy from the steam but that wasn't the case with these. They were crispy, flavorful, and I had to fight my daughter off from stealing them.
As for the burger it was cooked a hair longer than I prefer but it was really good! They seasoned it perfectly and the bun was toasted to perfection. I love a subtle crunch from a burger bun. I also appreciated that they put the veggies on the side so that nothing got soggy and I didn't have warm lettuce when I arrived home.
All in all WELL worth the $5. Their burger is legit!
The special is $5 for a burger and fries on Thursdays from 5-7pm. As someone advised me you have to ask for the special or they will charge full price.
This was the perfect dinner for a night when I didn't want to cook and a price cheaper than fast food. My belly is still full hours later. Go check it out!

Real gem of a BBQ place in Tulsa. One of the better pulled pork and bologna you'll find anywhere......HIGHLY recommend a visit! 5 Star coleslaw!

Really great restaurant to visit. Had outstanding customer service from all the staff I interacted with. Food came out hot and fast and was delicious. I highly recommend the Knotty Pig.

We were in town for business looking for a lunch spot and came across the Knotty Pig. I can’t say enough about the amazing service and the BBQ sandwiches. The bbq sauce was delicious and not overpowering so you could still taste the smoky moist meats. However the highlight was the old fashioned homemade onion rings.

Our waitress was amazing, u would love to give her a shout out but I didn't get her name! The food was amazing and the service beyond fantastic!
Strangers' Gardens
We were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the food we got here, especially because lunch for two was only about $25. The burgers are great and the fries are fantastic, perfectly seasoned and just the right kind of crispy.
The restaurant itself has a casual diner kind of vibe and it was jam-packed when we visited. We sat at the counter because it was so busy and got to watch the excellent staff hustling to get orders out in a timely fashion.

The people were great, chatted with the ladies running the counter. I got my food and it was a huge burger, I was full before I could finish half of this. It might not be a fancy place but so worth the trip.

Man this place gets better every time I go back. Tons of beers to choose from. Burgers are bomb and you should definitely try the peanut butter and jelly bacon fries. TRY THEM

I ordered a bacon cheese burger added brisket. Let me tell you that was by far the best burger ever!!! All kinds of flavors and juicy. Ordered fried pickles and they was good. Sweet tea was yummy as well. I most definitely recommend Knotty Pig. Service was great as well super nice workers.

An amazing hole in the wall with a bunch of different options for a hardy meal or some novelty eats.
The food was outstanding, the staff was lovely, and the customers are usually locals.
I loved it so much the first time that I swung by on my way home from my trip!

Customer service was great, being that it was my first visit, but definitely not the last.
Meats were tender and seasoned just right.
The beans were sweet. That is a negative for me. The wait time was reasonable. The chili was right on time. My first for chili and BBQ together. That small container of sauce, had them crying. I told them the small container has the power. Had to find out for themselves. No chicken or pulled pork. Will stick with ribs and sausage/ links.
Will definitely be a return visit when in Tulsa .

Ok let me start off by saying that we wanted to get the full Oklahoma barbecue experience because we traveled here from Arizona for vacation. This was the first place that we ate at as soon as we had a chance. I can tell you that this place does not disappoint at all. The service was that old country home cooked meal feeling. My kids ordered bacon cheeseburger me and the wife ordered the three-piece meat. In that we got the brisket the pulled pork and the ribs. The food came out in about 15 minutes after ordering.
Brisket was a little bit unique to my life game but still had that smoked flavor. Just a little more dry than I like it but once you add it the barbecue sauce to it it has the one to punch.
For size we ordered cheese fries / regular french fries / macaroni and cheese. Fries were great and so are the chili cheese fries. Super crispy and didn't taste like they've been sitting under a heat lamp for a few hours. Definitely came right out of the oven piping hot. The macaroni and cheese to be honest with a little bit underwhelming because it did not have much flavor but I can't hold it against them because mac and cheese has never been my favorite thing the only time that I truly like it is when it had that real thick cheesy taste to it and just wanted to not hit that spot.
Pulled pork was juicy and amazing. It's hard not to do a good pulled pork but this place still nailed it 100%.
The grand finale was the ribs and I usually think that all ribs taste the same depending on the barbecue but these were definitely the showstopper. They were fall off the bone good and the type of meat did not render much fat on the ribs at all.
The simplicity of walking in sitting down and ordering this type of meal is bar none everything that we wanted for our first meal in Oklahoma. If you have a chance to eat at this place do not pass it up because these home cooked small restaurant meals are few and far between.

We decided to try Knotty Pig after hearing their ad on KMOD. We got the chicken and pulled pork as well as the Widowmaker burger too. My favorite was the pulled pork but it was all pretty adequate! The service was okay, but we both LOVED the bananaless pudding! It was super delicious. Overall, I would recommend you try it for yourself. 🐷

We were driving through and decided to have lunch here because of reviews and it did NOT disappoint! We had the Van Helsing and the Snake Charmer burger and we split two orders of fries with 4 people and had plenty! The fries were so good and they were fresh and hot! And the burgers, they were so good! They were juicy and tasty! The service was also great and the food came out quick! Give this place a try.

The burgers are a blast because of the mixing of bar-b-que and burger...the results remarkable!!

Right off the bat, if you're looking for a fancy experience, this probably isn't it.
But I can say that we enjoyed this place regardless of atmosphere.
The waitress was attentive and checked up on us frequently.
We got the 3 meat platter that came with ribs, chopped briskets, and sausage. The ribs were not fall off the bone, but still very good. The chopped briskets were nothing out of the ordinary, but still good. The sausage was a bit too hot dog-ly like. Our 2 side options were potatoe salad and coleslaw. One worthy note is that he xxx hot bbq sauce actually had a kick unlike other places.
We also got the Knotty melt with chili fries. I enjoyed the sandwich and fries. Fatty pattie with melted cheese on nicely buttered toasted bread.
The one mistake was that we ordered potatoe salad and got beans instead, but that just gave us the opportunity to try the beans. Which was to our surprise, pretty good. The coleslaw was nothing out of the ordinary though.
What justified the 4 star even though i didn't think everything was good? The price was right and that justified a call out. I've spent more at other bbq joint and got the same amount of food or less.
Overall, a good experience and would probably go back to try the other stuff that was missed this time.

What an experience! Great food! There's a huge selection on the menu.
We both had chpped brisket sandwiches, I had onion rings he had tots. OMG! To die for! Their sauce was excellent and we bought a bottle.($4). Try the homemade pickle bar at the back of the room. Very busy so get there early. Local favorite. Big line by the time we left. Quite a drive for us but SO worth it. 5+ yums! 😋

Food was good and prices were reasonable. There's inside and outside seating. Lots of drink choices, adult beverages too. Great selection of food options. Had 1 issue with staff but overall not a problem.
