I honestly don’t know what happened between last year when I tried it for the first time versus this time. New management? I went here again only because it is the closest place I could go to have a hot plate bibimbap, and I’m happy to find out that they improved upon both the service and the taste of these dishes. Definitely will be heading back there soon.
I love going to this restaurant. The food is so delicious and the staff are always so very nice. Absolutely great customer service. Tried the Korean corn dog and the Hotteok for the first time today and all I can say is I can't wait to go back for more!
Korean Chili has quickly become my favorite restaurant. This is my 3rd time traveling from Hanford to Tulare for their delicious food and everytime I have gone they have something new and delicious to try. Unfortunately, I didn't think of taking pictures of my food the past times I went. But so far I have tried the bulgogi, kimchi fried rice (my favorite) , and tteokbokki with cheese and it was fantastic! Our last visit the owner gave us free korean style corn pancakes which was very much appreciated especially because we had never tried them and they were so good. This visit we tried their sweet and sour Chicken Gang Jeong which did not disappoint. But the star of today's visit was their new Korean Corn Dogs. I had never had one before and was not sure what to expect but in true Korean Chili fashion it was amazing! The corn dog had great flavor it tasted like a giant mozzarella stick mixed with a churro. Have never had anything like it. It was really crunchy and had a TON of cheese. Dont know if my pictures captured very well how much cheese was in the corn dog , but trust me the amount of yummy gooey cheese was insane. The corn dog was HUGE, you can definitely share it between 2 people. And it was a great price too. It is definitely a must try. I got mine all cheese but they have half sausage and half cheese too. We finished dinner with their Hotteok which was yummy as well. It was like a pancake with a melted brown sugar sauce inside with little bits of peanuts served with 3 different types of Vanilla ice cream. The service all three times I have gone so far has always been top notch. They are always really nice and attentive. They make you feel welcome and explain what the dishes are when they bring them to your table and if they have something new they are always excited to have you try it and they ask for your feedback. You can tell who I assume to be the owner really cares that his customers have a great experience and so far everytime I've gone has been wonderful. Delicious food that I crave, and have now become my favorite and excellent service keeps my going back for more. Definitely recommend Korean Chili to anyone who loves Korean food or for those wanting to try it.
If you've never had a Korean corn dog, go here and try it! The sweetest people work here, and they have amazing food. It took me back to when I visited Busan, and I am so happy I got to eat here on my visit to California!
GOOD FOOD! You won’t regret it. What are you waiting for?! Just go and try their foods. I like their teboki(pardon the typo but i only remember how they pronounce it 😌) I had spicy pork, and my friend got their big bowl of seafood noodle with soup. Oh my goodness…. Just go and try everything!
Their service is good and the owner is very friendly. Kamsahamnida 🙌🏻
A few days ago, I came here with my friends in the evening. I visited with my mom's recommendation. And I was very satisfied. Now I leave a review to help people like me who don't know well.
There were a total of 6 tables in the store, and I waited for about 5 minutes. There were many people because they also sold boba smoothies inside the restaurant. The food came out in order after 15 minutes.
We ordered Kimchi Stew, Tteokbokki with cheese, Shrimp Tempura, Dumpling Soup, Hot Stone Bibimbap with Beef. When you place an order, you will find several Side Dishes called Banchan. Kimchi, Korean style Pickle, Korean Crispy anchovie, Korean potato salad.... I'm not used to it, but everything was interesting and tasted good. I liked Korean Potato Salad and kimchi.
We ordered Spicy Rice Cake with cheese as an appetizer, and it was really really good. I especially recommend adding cheese. You gotta add cheese. Tust me!
I haven't tried it, but my friend said that Kimchi Stew and Dumping Soup were also good.
Hot Stone Bibimbap, which I ordered, was served with mushrooms, carrots, spinach, and eggs, and I add some sauce on it and was more delicious when I mixed it while making a sizzling sound. The sound is delicious too.
The table next to me was eating Korean Spicy Seafood Noodle and Korean Spicy Ramyun, and I wanted to try it next time.
I had cantalope flavor boba smoothie for dessert. It was good because it wasn't that sweet.
The servers were kind and good experiences.
Can’t get enough of the Korean corn dog! One of my favorite snacks now! The food is so good here and the staff is welcoming! One of my favorite places to come eat and hang out with friends! Will definitely be coming here more often!
Service was really great and the food tasted fantastic. I would really recommend Taro 👌. The medium spicy noodles were a pretty good amount of spicy but it dont compare to how spicy the waiter looked in that apron 💦💦. Overall the staff was very friendly but the guy in the apron really caught my eye
