This place will ruin all other taco places for you because after you try them, No other taco will ever taste the same. They have the secret of making the best tortillas and the most tasteful carnitas. The combination of both are literally a party in your mouth!!! Best tacos EVER! Come try them, you won’t regret it. I got the Birria, wife got the carnitas mixtos, tortillas made by hand, open on Thanksgiving, and extremely generous with the portions, I went in with a whisky hangover and a bad attitude, left with a smile and leftovers, their birria is a great cure for whatever ails you, and some of the best I've had in Tucson.

I am for sure a carnita's connoisseur and they do not disappoint! Sometimes on the weekends the lines can be long but don't be discouraged it is always worth the wait. The carnitas are soft, savory, crispy and delicious, The fact that they're partnered with homemade tortillas just makes it that much better. I always look forward to going and picking up food whether be for lunch or dinner and they give you enough carnitas to last a couple of days. I'll add photos if I can so myself from digging in....hahaha

Heard about this place on Tik Tok and knowing me tiktok made me do it lol driving from San Tan Valley AZ to Tucson AZ just to eat cartinas, yeah it was totally worth it BOMB Carnitas!!!

This is a great find! They're not open very late, so come early. Carnitas ate so good! Handmade tortillas are the bomb! Salsa selection is really good. You should try this place. Expect lines.

I’m a loyal customer of La Yoca for years since 2020. Absolutely love the Carnitas!!! They never disappoint and the lines are sometimes long but trust me, the wait is worth it. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is authentic. No other carnitas place beats La Yoca that’s for sure. Love this place! <3
