This place was truly a hidden gem in the area, The food was excellent. Well prepared and seasoned perfectly. The chef's choice of fish was perfection. The waiters were kind and helpful, giving us the best advice on what to pick. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant was very clean. Would definitely recommend, for an authentic flavor.

Only place in Tuscon to get that deserved to be called a sushi restaurant.
Have been to others, waste of money, time, and calories.

A friend and I dine here regularly, and always enjoy it. Best place for sushi in Tucson, imo. Sushi is flavorful, well prepared and presented. Wait staff is always friendly, helpful and attentive. We always order sushi rolls, and have never been disappointed. Atmosphere is nothing special, but quiet and relaxed. My only small nit pick is I wish they would expand their hours, but everything is is great! Highly recommend if you like sushi.

BOMB! The sashimi was fresh and delicious. We ordered 3 rolls and they were absolutely devine. Bathrooms were clean and everything was fresh. We became very confused about who our waitress/waiter was. We had 5 different people constantly stopping by.

Great service and delicious selections of your typical sushi cuisine. Vegas and California rolls are always going to be safe choices with Miso and Edamame as good starters. Enjoy Sake bombs and your bar selections while you dine at Sushi Cortaro on River.

This place has become of staple of my family’s dining experience in Tucson. Every time I come home to visit, I always make sure we come here at least once. My parents regularly visit even when there aren’t any kids around haha
Very fresh, good quality food (check out the photos I took) with a friendly wait staff who seem to enjoy their jobs.
Recommend 100%.

Sashimi is very fresh but not cheap. Great manager running the place. Only thing that annoy me was the music. It was pretty loud and too upbeat type of music for me. Otherwise, a great place.

The sushi was really good. I believe between the 3 of us we tried approx 10 different rolls and they were all good and very fresh- from the rice down to the fish!! A little pricey at $32 now but if you can eat a bit then it's worth it!

All around good food. The all you can eat is an excellent value @ $25, potentially the best in town as you can order a huge variety of items. The fish is very tasty and fresh. All the rolls we've had here were excellent. Swift and friendly staff with great service!

There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is modern and dimly lit. The staff was friendly and we went for lunch. They have a happy hour special on select rolls with purchase of a drink.
We had someone in our party that has an allergy to cucumbers. One of the rolls did come with cucumbers, and the staff was accommodating with taking the roll back and remaking it. Overall a good experience and I really enjoyed the sushi bake.

The food here is very delicious! The price for the all-you-can-eat sushi is priced just right, as the food was definitely worth it. The waiters were very kind, and overall service was excellent. I would definitely come to eat at this place again!

Good sushi place for lunch. They have a special half price menu with good choices. Ordered 6 large rolls and sashimi for $45. The atmosphere is casual. The service was great. The sushi was above average for Tucson. Presentation was excellent. Will definitely be going back for a second visit.
