The food was excellent and the portions were amazing. The server was extremely kind. I loved the salsa bar, the variety of salsas was exceptional. Just when I thought it couldnt get any better i was gifted a copious amount of delicious cinnamon chips. The dining room is expansive and had a nice open feel.

I've eaten here a number of times, either by myself or with family or friends, and we have NEVER had a bad meal or experience. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere very much festive looking, the food very tasty and a self serve salsa and chips and soda bar that can very nearly be a meal unto itself. Just make sure to pay for it, hmm?
All in all a very nice dining experience and we will be going again very soon. Maybe even this afternoon for dinner.
Unless you are a Bot or picking nits (or a competitor looking to be a Chump [RIGHT, Mark?!?]in a lousy review) I think you will be pleased with your dining experience.

Great place to eat and meet your family and friends. Food is good with large portions. Staff are good and take great care of you. We always seem to have fun here and walk away full. Appreciate the locally owned business and being treated like we matter when there. Great selection and love the salsas. We will go back whenever we are in the area.

Amazing food and service. I've eaten here a number of times over about a year and it is one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants. It's too bad that it's not more conspicuous as it deserves a lot more business than it gets! A great little place to meet friends and enjoy great food! Highly recommended!

Our favourite Mexican restaurant in the world. Bottomless chips and salsa are self serve. RC cola, Big Red and some other unique beverage choices (I prefer RC cola and Big Red over the usual brands). Great decor, atmosphere, pleasant staff, clean, very tasty food at fair prices. You won't be disappointed.

If you have come to fear "authentic" Mexican food here in Tucson then this is a great place to eat! Quality ingredients and cooked well. The deep fried ice cream left something to be desired...the ice cream could have been easily be measured in tablespoons - it looked like a kiddy cone serving, wish there was a little more to it. Overall we enjoyed the food and the kids liked it too. The staff were very nice!

One of the rare small town feeling restaurants. Staff is incredibly friendly. The food is delicious and huge portions. Atmosphere is immersive. Great salsa options from the chips and salsa bar. Great place to take the large family.

The food is so good and the people are so friendly. The place is very clean and you can decide where you want to sit plus all you can eat chips and salsa bar. If you go on Monday or Tuesday and order a meal you child gets a free kids meal! The cashier shared this with me which was really nice and a great deal!! I love this place!

The first Mexican food restaurant my family came to when arriving in Tucson in 1995 was Casa Sanchez. For 27 years, I loved going to Casa Sanchez for their quesadillas. While friends and family had their specials and we all tasted a bit of everything over the years, that was the last meal I ate there today.
Thanks Casa Sanchez for the memories. I hope you and the family who have served us faithfully for 43 years all over Tucson enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Adding more to my review, I liked this restaurant years ago, I left the area and came back. And again, Iove this restaurant. The owner is this sweet lady that does all the cooking in the back, and she makes the BEST green corn tamales ever!!! The food is good, it is served quickly, and there is no need for a tip because it is a self-service type of place (you refill your own drinks, get your chips, and they call your order number when you are food is ready). The owner must be a great an employer because the lady at the register has kept her job there for years. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Tucson. I love supporting family-owned businesses that treat customers like a human instead of a number, this owner (I think her name is Stevi) is the sweetest lady (always has a smile on her face, despite how hot it is back in the kitchen).

We go there about 3 times a month, always great, run by family members, they're friendly and accommodating, whenever we've needed anything special its taken care of, we've never had iffy service.
Fresh and hot, a salsa bar and chips, great green corn tamales, we've never had anything not great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I came here after helping some friends move. I loved the self serve tortilla chip and salsa bar. I had a bowl that consisted of rice, ranch beans, carne asada, and vegetables. It was DELICIOUS!! Seriously. It was approx. $25 for two meals with one soda, so a little more than what I typically would spend for lunch from a burger place, but the food tasted very fresh. Would definitely dine here again.

We are on a business/pleasure trip from Fl. We Googled restaurants near our hotel - and we are so glad Casa Sanchez- Mom's popped up. The decor is very nice. The staff is incredibly friendly and hardworking, and the food is amazing! You will not beat the price nor the experience.

We've been going to Casa Sanchez weekly for around 3 years now. We have never ever had a bad meal here! Stevie and the kids at the counter have always been friendly and helpful, and it's not unlike Stevie to reach across the counter to give you a hug. It will break my heart when they close!
