This is a GREAT seafood shop on one side and a very basic and unpretentious restaurant on the other side. Carina was great and made sure our Lobster tail order was ready as promised a few days before Christmas! While there, we saw some amazing oysters and had to do a dozen - they were the best I have had in Tucson. This is a diamond in the rough and worth the drive! VictorB

This is an older restaurant in a new location. The server was only three days in the job. She did not speak English, I believe this denotes the authenticity of the Mexican (Culiacan) style seafood. The shrimp ceviche tostadas are piled high. And seasoned to perfection. We also had the coconut shrimp, hearty portioned, and excellent flavor. A wide variety of Mexican hot salsas on the table, I photographed them all. We will definitely return.

I enjoyed the Ranchero Fillet while my table mate enjoyed the Fillet in Poblano Sauce. Both are very good. The atmosphere is clean and bright with adequate space between tables. There was no fish odor despite fresh fish being sold in the same room. We will return!

Food is delicious. Endless options of seafood including shrimp, oysters, fish, octopus, marlin and more. They did take a little long to bring out the food but I believe they were short staffed, Which in todays world is common.

Delicious fresh seafood! And their menu is plentiful! Couldn’t decide what to order. We ended up ordering oysters, Fritos w/ceviche and molcajete. And wow, super flavorful and fresh, with generous portions. All the dishes were beautiful in presentation and our server was very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to be back to try out their cocktails!

Love the new location! The food is just as good as the original restaurant, which is just down the street. Love the new concept of separating the restaurant and the seafood market! The half dozen of special oysters is my absolute favorite, as well as the fritos con ceviche, the tostadas, and you can’t go wrong with the cocktails. Can’t say enough good things - it’s one of my favorite restaurants of all time and and an absolute Tucson staple, a must every time I’m in town!

The food was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked. The tostada mitotera was very good with many different types of seafood in it. They welcomed us warmly and Daniel was a friendly, efficient server. I can't wait to go back.

best seafood in town it takes a little bit of time to get your order but they bring you chips and salsa while you wait it is worth it. I love the tostada embarazada and the sopa marinera was delicious!

I think they have decent seafood like their ceviche but their service this past weekend was a complete shame... 2 tables that came after us got their food before we could even order drinks.... and non of the waiters would come by after we asked nicely we kept getting ignored or told to hold... we were understanding of it being the weekend but it was frustraging to say the least and i will not keep recommending this place in the future you lost me as a client when you ignored my business with you..

We buy seafood there all the time, but the last time I went I bought a "market" whatever shrimp, and the shrimp was so old and frozen it, some shrimp I wasn't even able to peel it, it ruined my husband's birthday dinner. I always recommended this place, I don't think I will anymore. I thought they were fresh all the time or the "freshest" in town, but I don't know anymore.
