First Mexican food I have ever had dicing arriving. Moved here from Illinois and good Mexican back there is hard to find. Came here and fell in love right away! The fresh salsa at the table is the best I have ever tasted. I could just eat it and the chips as my meal! I had the chicken fajitas as my main meal and it was so fresh and full of flavor. Brought my wife here and she had the chicken quesadillas and loved it as well. The decor inside is colorful and welcoming and the place is really clean. Highly recommend if you are in Tucson!
It is so good there.. the tableside chili is the best... The food is excellent... The atmosphere is wonderful.... The waiters and waitresses are the best.... And I love the music and I love the way they celebrate birthdays.....
Everything was very good. Our server Margarita was great, friendly with a smile. Homemade salsa (at the table) with chips and homemade flour tortillas was good. Overall, it was a good experience and food.
The wait was long getting in and long getting ordered. But, they were very busy and our party was large. Even with the wait.. I'll be back. The people are always smiling and have great attitudes. 😊
Just had an amazing dinner at Guadalajara Original Grill in Tucson. I grew up in Tucson but haven’t lived here for 30+ years
I was excited to bring my family here to experience the food and their famous table-side salsa. It’s the only restaurant I’ve been to with this service.
The salsa is amazing. I like really HOT salsa and it was made perfectly. Not just hot but great flavor. My 10 year old daughter likes mild salsa. She loved it.
We also got table-side guacamole. It was delicious as well. Even better with a scoop of salsa.
We all ordered the two item combo meals. We got enchiladas (chicken, car and asada), shredded beef tacos, carne asada tacos, and a pork tamale.
They even have homemade tortillas and they were perfect. Ask for extra tortillas. They are sooooo good.
We left very full and happy.
I even ordered some extra table-side salsa to go.
Service was fast and friendly. Great experience at this local Tucson restaurant.
Always a favorite of mine when in town. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, always a great flavorful time. Margaritas are awesome as well as the table side salsa.
Decided to do a late breakfast and left satisfied! Will be back next time I’m in town!
The resturant was clean, we came to have lunch and catch up - the portobellos plate and chili Reno were delicious. I asked for hotter salsa and our waitress made it that we❤️🥵 very filling!
I have come here several times and I don't understand the hype. The tableside salsa is great, everything else is just fair. Service is always quick and friendly.
Food was delicious. Service mediocre at best. While our food came and the order was accurate, it took forever to get chips and salsa. When we requested more chips, it literally 3 separate requests.
High energy, festive place. We loved the salsa and guacamole made tableside. (I want a job as the salsa lady here!) The decor is wonderfully vibrant, just like our staff at this visit. We enjoyed the Mexican paella and the enchiladas, both of which we said could have used a heavier hand with the spices; but overall we truly enjoyed our visit.
My food arrived at least 15 minutes ago and the molcajete is still boiling. Tender, delicious, fresh. The salsa is made to order, the quantities are even more over the top than the usual enormous Mexican meal. And even though it’s Sunday night, they still have live music. Excellent!
Excellent Mexican food large menu and absolutely best table made salsa and guacamole made right in front of you! Our waiter was on point funny and friendly, we had a large group and got our food out and kept glasses full. I loved the vegetarian enchiladas with spinach and squash in white sauce soooo good!! They also have live music with a very colorful fun atmosphere.
