This place is great, best lo mein in Tucson by far, I like to get it as a side for their lunch special when I order beef and bell pepper or kung pao chicken, I’ve been going here for about three years now, their brown sauce is unbeatable

Mei Mei is a very casual spot. Food is great and relatively inexpensive. They serve good portions. Lunch specials are unbeatable.
As soon as you go in, you will be greeted by the two most amazing host/servers in town. They will take care of every aspect. Food quality and quantity is the same for dining in or taking out.

Been going to this place about 20 years, probably more. Very good food, fair prices, very friendly service. Eating in, or taking out. Yes it is a “hole in the wall” small family place in a strip mall. That is why the decor isn’t trendy and brand-new. Who cares? Ignore the few bad reviews: everybody has a bad day sometimes. Some days that is the customer, some days maybe the cook. But in my experience, it is almost never the cook or other staff. Overall, this place is a secret West Side gem.

Great, friendly service! The menu is readily available when you walk in. For take out, the service is efficient and of great value. The food is always fresh, no buffet-style hot lamps or anything like that.

Went in slightly after lunch rush, before dinner. Service was great, food was even better. Orange chicken had a slight crisp to it but not over fried. Low mein was delicious.

This place was recommended to me by a colleague. At first I was very skeptical. They had an unfortunate placement for a restaurant and total lack of pictures and reviews.
Opening the door I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice, quaint, but eerily silent dining room. Prices are moderate and I was happy with the service. I was greeted instantly at the door with a smile and seated promptly. Being there were only another two customers in the dining room, they wasted no time in making sure we were taken care of.
We ordered two family dinner specials priced at $10.99 each. This includes one egg roll and two pork wontons per order. Both delicious and flavorful!
We also enjoyed Almond Chicken & Broccoli Beef. Both dishes were fantastic but definitely needed more seasoning. Then finished off the meal with fortune cookies of course.
So much potential here! More people need to know about it.

Absolutely love this place and the people that work there! They are always putting a smile on our faces and the food is soooo good! I usually get the beef and broccoli with some egg rolls and chicken Lo Mein!!! The sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken are so good as well!! Can’t go wrong! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

1 The online menu is fake or from last owner or something.
2 The orange chicken is crispy, and delicious. Pork lo mein, great and beef and broccoli had the most tender beef! So good.
