Great quick lunch spot if you’re willing to share the restaurant with most of the university all at once!

This place is super fun & I highly recommend! Make sure to visit Grace in the bar, she’s extremely helpful & a joy to be around (: will definitely be going next time we are in Arizona!

The music is a little loud in there, so it's hard to order, but I know it's a vibe. The friendliness and attitude of who is working flip flops. Sometimes they are nice and sometimes they talk under their breath and get mad at you for not understanding them. The food is good, I prefer it over Chipotle, the price is also better.

More fun and more fresh than Chipotle across the street. Staff is always helpful. They have a bar. It turns into a college kid bar atmosphere at night. Good place to watch football.

Tacos are best bang for your buck here. Barbacoa is way to go as well.

Five years ago, I went here for the first date with my now wife (we didn’t really know it was a date at the time!). The food is still spectacular, and the vibe is nice and calm. We both got the Baja fish tacos, which were fried to perfection! The tacos were light with the right amount of slaw and sauce, and we’d come back here any time, if we lived remotely near Tucson! Highly recommend Illegal Pete’s, but go on the early side as the line can get quite long at lunch.

Great food with a wonderful location. The Baja Tacos are a must! You can do À La Carte with the tacos if you only want one or two. The staff are friendly and a up-beat ambiance makes for a enjoyable experience.

PETES I LOVE YOU. From the taquitos to the nachos to the burrito, you never disappoint. The best chips & queso you can find, my mouth waters just thinking about it. And nothings better than washing it all down with a chauncy :)

I got a bowl and the ingredients were not mixed that well. The quality of everything seemed ok, but not great and not really worth what I paid for. It's a fast-casual place, so it isn't that expensive, but I think I would prefer Chipotle over this, as Illegal Pete's is essentially a Chipotle copycat. On the plus side, they serve alcohol, so if you ever want Chipotle with alcohol, that's essentially what Illegal Pete's is
I went back again with a better experience. I received very good service where they arranged my order how I liked it. To note, it’s actually very slightly cheaper than Chipotle (I will say that my tastes probably prefer Chipotle) but there is a better atmosphere here
