Haven't been here in several years now and have to say a much much improved experience. Love the atmosphere (sat at the bar) you can tell the two bartenders were having a good day and enjoying their time serving. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by smiles and you can really see how this is a locally owned business so really enjoyed my stay. And of course the food was delicious (various rolls).
My fiancee has never had sushi, so what better place to go in Tucson where you know the sushi will be on point and made with no mistakes?! Sushi Garden!!! We sat at the bar and the oriental bar tender was extremely friendly and polite. She was very attentive. Not just the bartender but the overall staff. I asked the hostess when she wasn't busy if they could put on the Texas vs TCU football game and they wasted no time flipping the channel for me. The rolls came out hot and fresh and cooked to order. We ordered 4 rolls and every single one was absolutely delicious. The prices are very fare and the restaurant is super clean. There's no other better place to grab sushi in Tucson.
The sushi was good and they were fast to take out orders and get our food out. But when we were served they forgot about us. We where trying to order more food and our waitress was talking to other waitress. We did get our first order and we got a vagas roll, rainbow roll and some crab puffs.. Its was good and to drink some saki and cold Dr. Pepper.
We have been here a few times before.. and always enjoy a good sushi haven't had any issues coming here... prices are fair... food tastes good and fresh.. waiters and waitresses are friendly..
Normally not a wait time here so that's good.. if your not good with chop sticks they offer a cute as they call it kids training cheat for chopsticks pretty much a small plastic device that attaches to the chop sticks to keep them secure..
If you haven't tried it out I would definitely recommend a try! I am sure you will enjoy!
The food here is always well above average and great. Back in the day before covied, the service was always fast and professional. Last night are server was very knowledgeable of the menu, also very nice...but after we got seated it took him 15mins to come and greet us and get our drinks. also the food came out very sporadically appetizers came out in the middle of dinner and about 30 minutes into eating I finally got my beer after reminding him. Should be a three-star review cuz the horrible service but I'm not going to take away from the cooks or the entire restaurant because of one bad server the food was still cooked amazing!
The food here is really good. They have a large variety of good sushi to choose from and their udon is solid too. It's a great health choice, but it it definitely a bit on the pricey end. It was kinda disturbing that the table I was sat at wasn't properly wiped down (water rings from previous drinks were still on the table) and the food came out in an odd order. Overall though, the service was nice and the food was great.
It was an amazing day to be outside and eat on the Patio but they had it closed today......bummer! We waited about 15 minutes to get seat, which wasn't too bad considering how busy it was. We had the buffet and it was pretty good. I have actually been here a couple times before, to both locations, and have never had a bad experience with the food. Today's buffet was rocking it. The food was fresh and they had quite a few items in the warmers, which gave you a lot to choose from. Take a look at the pics to get an idea. The service was good, our server came around often to refill our drinks and remove plates. Got out of there with a $46 bill for 3 at the Buffet, with 2 cokes. Recommend :)

the food was served shockingly fast! It was delicious and the price point is what you’d expect from a sushi place. Good atmosphere.
Food was amazing! We had ramen, some nigiri, a rolls and a sashimi sampler. Everything tasted great and the sashimi slices were thick and melt in your mouth fresh.
Our server was inattentive (we came at 6p on a Tuesday) and since they have a team that delivers food never came back to check on us.
When I pointed out we didn’t get the edamame she said she’d wrap it to go and didn’t seem to want to take it off the bill.
Other than that the staff was awesome.
Music is energetic and the bar is a proper bar.
Will definitely eat here again, but will take out.
I don't think sushi gets any better in Tucson. Sushi Garden has a wide variety of meals to offer and a host of different sushi selections. The restaurant is clean and the service is quick.
