China Phoenix Restaurant - Tucson - Photo album

Disaster! Went this past Saturday (July 8, 2023) and… closed! Sign on the door that the lease had not been renewed; all the furnishings gone. So now we've lost Gee's & China Phoenix, both of which had really great dim sum. I'm hoping the owners are looking to set up shop at another location, maybe
We were pleasantly surprised of the freshness and variety of food offered fir dim sum. You will not get the warmest and friendliness service however the good food makes up for it. We love dim sum with a large group so you can try more things and we would come here again fir our next gathering.
Despite the negative reviews we decided to go for lunch . this place is actually offers very good service and delicious Chinese food . The server was very quick on top of everything which is really a rare thing these days ,she kept the refill coming and clearing what we didn't need , the food w
Delicious authentic dishes! Have been here a few times now and food/service is consistently good. I opt for the vegetarian dishes, like Mongolian tofu, a generous, perfectly spiced and sauteed portion served with white rice. My guy likes some of the more traditional dishes like the fish maw soup and
Authentic and delicious, without breaking your wallet. All the servers are these very cute grammas, who are so good at upsaling. Their dim sum (dumplings) is a must try, remind me of China towns in the city; the dim sum are only on the weekends though.
A great food choice if your trying to have a good meal with leftovers. Lots of choices and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Orange chicken and general tsos was great and used quality meat. Crab puffs were the right stuffs.
Very good! Lunchtime special for around 8 bucks is a good value. Food seemed freshly prepared and high quality. Will be back to try other menu items
This local restaurant has been around since I was a kid- food is always solid, but even better recently. Ate there last night and had their delicious duck (probably the best in town!), wonton soup, and walnute shrimp. Highly recommend for a yummy family meal!
New place for good dim sum in tucson ... better than gees garden for sure .... more spacious than sushi lounge and comparable quality and price
Delicious dim sum! I went with fiance during lunch and the place is very authentic. Service was fast. Only complaint is that the dim sum was very lukewarm so I suggest coming in early at 10am for the first servings of dim sum.
Such a wonderful place! The lady that met me with my order was the sweetest lady, she made my night. The food was great! We had sweet and sour chicken, moo shoo pork, chicken fried rice and chicken and pea pods. The egg rolls are nice and light too. Would recommend for sure!
