My visit to Com Tam Thuan Kieu was an absolute delight, and it's become my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, especially their specialty in broken rice dishes! The ambiance was welcoming, and the aroma of freshly prepared dishes instantly set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. What truly stood out was their exceptional attention to detail and the authenticity of the flavors. The broken rice dishes were simply outstanding! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic Vietnamese flavors. The tenderness of the grilled meats, the flavorsome sauces, and the perfectly cooked rice showcased the chef's expertise. Not only were the dishes exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent recommendations. If you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or looking to explore something new, I highly recommend Com Tam Thuan Kieu. It's a gem for broken rice enthusiasts and anyone seeking a genuine Vietnamese culinary experience. Kudos to the team for maintaining such high standards in both food quality and service. I'll definitely be returning for more delightful meals

There are a lot of options. They have beef broth and pork & chicken broth. The broth is very good. The portion is big. The price is reasonable. The staff is very friendly.

Everything is good about this restaurant, from the minute you step in to when you leave. We were instantly seated and our orders were taken promptly. The food came out fast, within 5-10 minutes. I highly recommend their phó, because the broth and the noodles were both amazing. Paying was easy, and it was only $11.99 for a good sized bowl! The service was wonderful and both ladies were super gracious and lovely.

Yes, the service is going to be exactly what one should expect from an authentic asian restaurant. Because of that you know the food is going to be on point and better than the other spots downtown. Staff is courteous, just know you will have to get their attention if you need anything. Absolutely love the broth and meat. One of my favorite spots in Tucson.

This restaurant is very delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for some fulfilling phó. The taro spring rolls were amazing, very filling. One of my favorite pho places and I am always craving it

I didn’t spend very much time here as I was on the way out of town and needed to grab something savory, satisfying and speedy! I wanted a fresh shrimp spring roll. I walked in and was greeted by who I assume was an owner. She was a well dressed, distinguished matriarch and I was seated and served my spring roll by an older gentlemen who seemed to be proud of his food. The spring roll order came out quickly and for $7 I thought the serving was ample. The rice paper was moist and not hard meaning that this was freshly made. The flavors of the herbs inside brought a smile to my face and an even bigger feeling of satisfaction to my stomach. When in Tucson I’ll visit here again.

Best bowl of pho in town and conveniently located next to Lee Lee's Asian Market. The service is always speedy and the food is tasty. It's always worth the drive from the southeast side to eat here. I love how they put a fried egg roll wrapper in the middle of the fresh springs rolls which gives it a nice crunch.

Food is always yummy. Service is great and people are so friendly. There is an Asian grocery store right next door as well.

Large number of selections on the menu at a good price. Fast service. Photo is of selection A9 Phở Tôm: eight shrimp with rice noodles in a soup of light beef broth, white onion, fresh scallion and cilantro. On the side: basil leaf, bean sprouts, sliced jalapeno, and lime. Very nice size for the price!

I've been coming here for 8 years now! Food has always been on point! Family run business that will remember you if you go there enough! Can't say enough about their Pho!!! Some of the best in Tucson!

We tried the spare rib entree, fried Cornish game hen with red rice and spring roll appetizers. The food was just delicious, probably the best Asian food I've had in Tucson. I read some posts about poor service but didn't have that experience personally, they were very nice. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Phantastic!. We LOVE this place! It is THE most authentic Vietnamese place in town. Has the best variety and fairest prices around. Its not a fancy place and doesn't cater to egotistical diners expecting excessive false courtesy, but they do get the job done with a minimum of communication. And again, the food is fantastic and authentic. Best fried pork egg rolls in the world! And pig feet udon soup is a winner on a cold winter night, and gives you a good dose of hyaluronic acid for your joint health !. And whats really convenient, is you can go shopping at Lee Lee's as it's connected to it! And like so many of our favorites, I wish it were a little closer to us, so we could eat there more often!

This is the best Vietnamese in Tucson. People who complain about the service have very thin skin. The food is great and the owners just act like old Asian men. Have a smile on your face and and enjoy the food.

The men that work there are very rude. Food is good but I will never go back because they have been rude on multiple occasions.

I will never go back again after my encounter with the owner's husband. My wife and I have been going there for the last 3 years but not anymore. We can deal with the old man's dismissive attitude and messing up my wife's order (everytime), but the attitude of the owners husband is unacceptable. Tonight was the first time I saw him in the three years we have been eating there, and it will be the last. My wife has severe allergies and peanuts and carrots are the biggest. We always tell the old man no carrots and peanuts but he always gets it wrong, he's old, so we give him a pass. But, the owners husband, oh my, he is one rude Asian. I am part Asian and I understand the culture, Asian people can sometimes come off as rude when they really aren't trying to be rude, but the owners husband was just plain rude to me tonight. I placed a to-go order for my wife and I and told the owners husband no carrots or black pepper (wife's allergies). I wasn't done ordering when the restaurant phone rang and the owners husband just walk away. I waited patiently even though he just walked off, no big deal. I hear him say to the person on the other line, in a condescending tone, "obviously we're open, I talking to you, we are closed on Tuesdays." Then he comes back to me and asked me if I wanted something else, I told him the shrimp rolls and beef rolls also. I sat down and forgot to tell him no peanuts on the food also. I got up and called him and asked him to tell the kitchen no peanuts on the food either. He ways his hand in my face and says, yeah yeah, I got it. I said, I told you no carrots and black pepper before, can you tell the kitchen no peanuts also. He raised his voice and stated motioning with his hands saying he will tell them in a nasty tone. I said, you don't understand, my wife has severe allergies and the old man always messes up her order, can you tell then no peanuts. He starts yelling, asking me why am I telling him what to do. I said I'm asking you to tell them no peanuts. He continues to yell at me saying he will tell them after he takes care of the lady. The lady told him she can wait, because even she was looking at him like he was crazy and being rude. She was also returning her food and taking it out of the bag because hers was messed up too. Everyone is now looking at the crazy man yelling at the customer. I ask him again to tell them no peanuts, and he starts yelling again saying, "stop being like a girl, stop talking to me." I couldn't help but chuckle, I'm 6ft 2in, 225lbs former Marine and current law enforcement officer. He then yells at me saying, "if you don't like food, don't come back." I said really, that's how you talk to customers, I have been coming here for 3 years and no one has ever spoken to me thenway you are right now. I asked him if he was the owner and he said yes. I said you don't understand, it's not about whether I like the food or not, my wife has allergies and cannot eat peanuts. He calls me a girl again, and I just looked at him and said why are you talking to me like this. He tells me to leave him alone and to go sit down. The old man comes over and the crazy man tells him to vietnamese, no peanuts (I heard peanuts). The old man goes in the kitchen and I stand by the counter and owners crazy husband tells me to stop being angirl and go sit down. I just said to him to don't understand, there's no point in talking to you. The lady comes out from the kitchen and she knows me, everytime I walk in, she says "same order, no peanuts and carrots, right." She always gets it right, I told her that her husband was very rude and she sincerely apologised for his behavior and brought my food out. I like the food, but I will never go back again. I'm from Flushing Queens, New York, that's like another Chinatown, and the Vietnamese there is the best I have ever had. Thaun Kieu is good for Tucson, AZ but cannot compare to NYC.

Love the food. The food is wonderful. Very tasty and delicious. The owners (a couple) are very friendly and work at the restaurant and will see to your every need. Extremely friendly and pleasant. I particularly love the fresh rolls, the pork rolls and the pho soup. Fabulous with all the fresh vegetables and wonderfully tasting sauces. The atmosphere is very simple, but clean. It is very consistent in quality. Every time the same. If you like authentic Vietnamese food, check out this restaurant, I believe you will be very pleased.

Excellent Pho..!!!. This place has great Pho. The brisket is always tender and if you like tendon in your Pho their's is great, very tender and tasty. You can't beat enjoying an excellent bowl of Pho and then a shopping spree at Lee Lee's super market right next to the restaurant.

Good food, good service, good price. I ate here a few times. I tried the standard fare -- I'm partial to beef and shrimp dishes. The service was good, the prices were acceptable, and the food came in a reasonable amount of time. I definitely recommend this place.

Well worth a try!. My husband and I recently ate here for the first time and instantly fell in love with the food, which was plentiful, well presented, and reasonably priced. More importantly, it was delicious! My husband chose broken rice with steamed egg and charbroiled shrimp and pork chop, while I had pho with shredded chicken. Choosing was tough, because the menu is extensive (!!!), but we were both very happy with our choices. Service was prompt and friendly without being intrusive. Just a very nice experience all around. I returned the following week for lunch and was pleased to have a similarly enjoyable meal. This is definitely a place we'll choose often from now on.
