When I come to Tucson I try to squeeze a visit to Yoshimatsu. I really adore the retro Japanese decor inside with the various Godzilla, super sentai, and retro toys. It reminds me of when I studied abroad in Japan. I also love that they have less common Japanese dishes, which is why I chose the zaru

Amazing vegan selection, maybe the best I've ever seen. Totally authentic, flavors just like I grew up with. No compromise here, vegans can enjoy this place a few times without running out of things to try. Will definitely be coming here often now that I've found it!
Good food and friendly staff. Prices are good for portion size you get which are very big. Happy hour has a great deal for half priced sushi and drinks.
