Review Voyager Bar & Grill - Tucson

We live at an Encore resort in Donna, Texas (Victoria Palms), and this one put ours to shame. The manager says corporate won't let us have AEDs due to liability, yet Voyager has 8. Their staff was so friendly and informative. The grounds were clean and well kept. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was wonderful, so many amenities, the restaurant and bar had good food and the price was good.

Addition of trash receptacles at every spot now has place looking like dumpsville!!! Apparently management unable to schedule adequate dumpster pickup year round to meet population. Solution-thousands of huge blue trash containers. Can’t wait to listen to various companies loading up cove, bay and voyager-all on different days. Probably be like living by the city dump!!!

We had a good stay at this place. Very helpful and attentive personnel. Good dog park and good size sites. We will return when in the area. Recommend this place.

I stayed here twice, in an RV, spring 2023. The team here is so kind and helpful. The section of amenity’s is amazing. And best of all, there is zero chemical odour in any of the 3-pools or 2-hot tubs. 👍 It’s NOT a central location but it is close to the highway so it is still easy to get into Tucson to explore. FYI…the RV spots are very barren BUT #’s 106, 108, and #114 in 40th get some shade from trees. So does #112 on 30th. You’re Welcome! 🌳

On the south end of Tucson. Lots of things to do on the property. Staff was friendly. Stayed in the RV lots. Neat the Pima Museum. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THE WIFI. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Such a great stay, I'm impatiently waiting to turn 55 so I can get a spot! Can't say enough great things about your blonde server at the restaurant (sorry I didn't catch her name).

Very nice hotel and experience. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Lots of amenities!

I ended up with conflicting reservations and failed to notify Voyager RV that I was not coming until they called me late on day one of my 3 day stay. They very generously offered to only charge me for one day in spite of my less than prompt cancelation. Their personnel had a strong customer service orientation and made the process painless. I did not stay there and cannot comment on the quality of the rooms.

We stayed in an rv site for 7nights here. Very nice resort. Alot to do if you are into that stuff, we were not. Mail service here was great. We were even able to get amazon delivered here right to our site. Security was fantastic. Quiet at night. Slight road noise but not bad. We would return if coming through the Tucson area again.

We like this place. Good weather (winter) and lots of activities. The main pools and Hot Tubs are closed for renovations - poor project planning IMO, but pools are now being filled. Hopefully, we will be able to use them soon.

Fat Willys great place to eat and have a 25 ounce of cold beer

I’d really like to give this resort a 4.5 but that wasn’t an option. The park is beautiful and extremely large. Great for walking or biking without leaving home. We had a nice back-in site that also had a separate gravel driveway for our car. The site had a big concrete patio and a lovely huge palm tree. There is so much to do there, I can not mention it all. The onsite restaurant and bar had good food and decent happy hour drink prices. Lots of bathrooms and showers but I have to say that one set of showers was smaller and had no light above the dark tile stall. Also, there wasn’t a large enough shelf for a women who uses a lot of products. Another set of showers near the Woodshop was a little bigger, had a light in them, and also had a large shelf. All showers were loaded with plenty of hot water. I did wish there was a rubber mat outside the stall as the tile became slippery when wet. My husband and I wanted to use the shuffle board courts but didn’t know how to obtain the equipment for it. There weren’t any signs posted. I was happy that the park picked up trash twice a week, however, you had to take any recycling to a separate place in the park to dispose of it. Not really a bad thing on a nice weather day. During our stay there was a nearby hazmat incident that resulted in multiple ‘shelter in place’ orders. I was surprised that the park did not have a system by which they could convey situations to the residents. If we had’t received a message on our phones, we would not have known. Many elderly folks that are at the park might not even get those alerts. Lastly, the park has many rules, like most RV parks, but it surprised me to see that my neighbor had piles of household items behind her RV (in view from my side), but I couldn’t hang a wet towel outside. Regardless, it is a great place to hang your hat for awhile.

During the COVID crisis many of the park amenities shut down. However, they're opening things back up now. You can find anything you really need. They have a sports bar, a restaurant, hotel, beauty salon, massage, parlor, convenience store, pickleball courts, swimming pools, tennis courts, golf course, you name it.

The resort is quiet but the pool has been torn up for months and the dog needs lots of work. The golf course is in great shape . Pretty pricy compared to other resorts but also has many activities. As they they say try before you buy.
