Eclectic art... Great varied menu with delicious foods and Claire is a rip if you are fortunate to catch her...
A hidden treasure!!!

I loved the feel of the place as soon as I walked in. The waitress was witty and funny, the food was good and price was right. Little holes in the wall are what I'm all about so it was perfect. Next time I'm passing through town I will make it a point to stop in for breakfast.

The food there is absolutely amazing. My hubby had the breakfast quesadilla with chorizo and I had the potato latkes (served with sour cream and APPLESAUCE!!!). Everything was scrumptious. The art, atmosphere, and most of all Claire make this place super special. Our gem of Catalina!

I can't eat canned corned beef as i"m allergic to the preservatives. So it had been ages since I had corned beef so I ordered the homemade corned beef breakfast. It was excellent! I also love the coffee at Claire's even though I have to use extra cream it is delicious.
I also enjoy looking at all the art at Claire's. It is ever changing and the quality of the art at Claire's is amazing! I also like that Claire hangs some of my work as well...wink wink
It is a place that is homey and you are greeted with love no matter who you are. The service is great but the personal is still the greatest because it starts with the owner.. Love the food..
This hidden treasure cafe is absolutely delightful and has been a favorite of mine for years! Highly recommend stopping in for a wonderful meal and a visit!
Ssooooo good!!! I had chees blintzes with fresh blueberries on top & a side of fresh fruit, 2 days in a row. Worth the drive😍
Top of the line food..Healthiest choices available, beautifully cooked and presented! I wish Claire's was in Los Angeles!!
What a neat little eclectic cafe and gallery right off Hwy 77 in Oro Valley. People are super friendly, the staff is very courteous and the food was excellent. Definitely one of our new stops as we pass through there!!
Fun experience ... I enjoyed the food, service and the art.
Claire's is my favorite local cafe. The food is great, the atmosphere is inviting, the service is wonderful and I love the artwork that is displayed throughout the cafe. I bring my two young daughters with me every time I go and Claire always visits with them. It's a relief when I know that my children are welcome in a restaurant!
Hey
Anybody know Margi Cruz from Tucson, son Martin? Mother Vicenta father Robert,?state farm employee I think.
Tell her O said hi! Been 25 years plus.,
Best Biscuits in the World! Friendly personal staff! If you could compare a cafe to CHEERS this would be the place. They always have great specials. Every time is an enjoyable experience.
Excellent food, great service, unique atmosphere. A favorite of mine for over 10 years
Cuando visiten TUCSON visiten comeran muy rico recomendadisimo, todo delicioso, atencion super y sobre todo el gusto de conocer a Claire

Claire's Cafe is a wonderful place and anyone that says any different obviously doesn't know Claire!
Food is excellent. Service superb
Best home cooking in town with friendly, happy people!!!
Great people and great food! I eat there every week and couldn't recommend Claire's more highly!
Food was terrific! Even special made my husbands because he is vegan. We are treated like family evrytime we go! We live in Michigan, but make sure we eat there every time were in the Tuscon area! The owners and staff have become friends of ours. If your there, don't miss out!
Good food and Claire's is air conditioned. I eat at Claire's 363 days a year they close thanksgiving day and Christmas day. On the day before Thanksgiving they serve a free Thanksgiving dinner. Claire's full menu includes Vegan and Gluten free entrees.
The food is fresh and prepared to your taste. Soup of the day is homemade not from a can.
Claire's has been air conditioned for several years. For those who prefer an outdoor setting there is a nice patio.
Delicious!. The food is excellent; the staff friendly and efficient; Claire makes wonderful vegetarian fare - what more can you ask for! Really good food. Enjoy!!
Great Food and Great People. Claire's has good food, so good it's difficult to stray from your menu favorites and try anything new. The waitresses very attentive and have your meal custom made if you like. No extra charge. Never disappointing.
FAMILY Cafe with AMAZING food!. We have been going to Clare's since I was a baby. The food is delicious, and we have always been gracious that Clare has had many vegetarian options. This cafe is the gem of Catalina cuisine, offering stunning local art for ambiance in its gallery setting. The staff will know you by a first name basis, and remember your pallet tastes and dietary needs. The owner and her husband are amazing people with a big hearts that enrich the Catalina community in so many ways!
Good food; Great service. The veggie sandwich is a work of art. It's beautiful, but with so many veggies, it's almost impossible to eat as a sandwich. Ask for the bread toasted. It helps. The fruit on the side is also very generous. I would love it if they would offer hummus or black bean dip as a spread on the sandwich, both to add protein and to keep the veggies in. Other good vegetarian choices are the veggie burger and the vegetarian chili, but they charge $1.95 extra to replace the traditional fries or cole slaw on the burger platter with fresh fruit.
Nick's best of Tucson's for Breakfast. Started going to Claire's in 1993 for breakfast. Before me my friend Walt Moran used to go to Claire's for the Lentil soup! Her only equal for breakfast was the Crying Onion near Orangewood and Thornydale. I also like Ghin's on Cambell for breakfast an crousants!
Claire’s Cafe & Art Gallery was an excellent find on Oracle Highway in Catalina, well north of Tucson proper. The menu had some very fine nuggets to choose from, and I settled on the Mexican Frittata which was most excellent. I liked the experience enough to come back the next day. This time I settled on Al’s Favorite Handmade Corned Beef Hash which was oh so tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. The coffee was very good. I found it fun to wander around looking at the local art on display, and for sale, while I waited for my meal to be served. Highly recommended.
Recently stumbled upon Claire's Cafe & Gallery during our travels and we were delighted to find a hidden gem. As avid travelers, we always seek out local eateries to get a true taste of the town. Upon entering, we were greeted with a feast for the eyes - an array of stunning artwork by local artists on display. Our wonderful server, Andy, recommended the Fish Sandwich, which was a perfectly golden-fried cod filet served on a French roll with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce. The fries were crispy and piping hot. We also tried the Ranchers Roast Beef, a juicy and flavorful roast beef sandwich with green chilies and Swiss cheese on grilled rye bread.
We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Chef Claire, who was friendly, warm, and hospitable. It's clear that she puts her heart and soul into her establishment. We wish Claire's Cafe & Gallery much success and highly recommend it to anyone passing through Tusson.
On way through town stopped at this cafe / fine art gallery for some food and to peruse the art. There are beautiful beaded earrings and necklaces, paintings and indian art of all types throughout the cafe; all for sale. The side door is a beautiful hand carved wooden door is just something to see in itself. I had the seafood platter that was on special, clam chowder and a pecan roll. All very good and reasonably priced. What was best though is talking to some of the regulars to learn about the history of the town walking me through pictures and articles hanging on the wall. Then, meeting Claire herself and her husband. Wonderful people. If you are in the area I would recommend stopping. I surely enjoyed taking the scenic route from Tucson to Phoenix rather than taking I-10. That way you get to enjoy places like this.
Great atmosphere and good food! Loved our waitress! So much small-town mom&pop feel to this place, and the art is beautiful. Nice menu and lots of care goes into the food.
Absolutely a Complete American classic on Everything! Food, Service, etc! This place is beautiful 🇺🇸
First visit knew it was one of the best, if not the best diner in Tucson! If you go here and to Frank’s your time is complete.
Haven't been to Claire's in several years but met a friend for lunch. What a treasure this little restaurant is. Great comfort food made with love and care. Gallery is unique and fun. Had one of the best tuna melt sandwiches I've ever tasted.
We’re from out of town. We stopped in here for sandwiches because we were doing laundry nearby. Didn’t expect much, Claire’s is a hole in the wall. Were we ever surprised? The best sandwiches we’ve had in a very long time! The bread was toasted perfectly. The Reuben sandwich was not soggy at all. the coleslaw was delicious! Everyone should come here if they’re in the area.
Eating at Claire's is like eating breakfast with your family. This quaint little gallery has both the charm and the culinary chops of a 5* eatery. Love it here.
Claire is there to greet you. Outside wait staff. Extensive menu. Breakfast all day. Lots of original art work to see. Free will Thanksgiving meal could not be beat. Blessings on the owners, wait staff , and customers who supported those in need
A wonderful place to relax and enjoy great food. We ate there the first week in April when we were on vacation. The cafe is clean, neat, and the staff is great. If you are in the area of Tucson I suggest this place. Gary Price.
Neat little place with local artist work on the walls. Good food and service. Only open for breakfast and lunch.
Loved the food, the home made chips were great! And the conversations
Great homestyle food, personable friendly efficient waitress, large portions. Wonderful ambience with vintage items, artwork, jewelry for sale with prices posted. Hash browns served with veggie stuffed Western omelet were crispy, biscuit & gravy was delicious, turkey club sandwich was excellent with sour dough bread and home made potato chips. Even had RC cola - my old time favorite impossible to find in grocery stores anymore ! Lots of parking; easy to locate.
Eclectic for sure. You open a door to a cool experience. Just a good old-fashioned place, home cooked meals with an array of fabulous personalities! The food is absolutely delicious. Claire's offers a dish for everyone. From Vegan to meat lovers. Come on up to Catalina and enjoy a great meal with the locals!
