Best lunch spot in all of Tucson! They have a variety of food options and everything I've tried is quality and tasty. They also have breakfast food but I have not tried it yet. Service is superior. Clean. Quick and convenient. Option to sit inside or outside. My only wish is that they were open more!

Wow. Just wow. No more words. SO much food, with some fantastic tea, for the cost of a chain fast food burger? Bargain of the century. It’s healthy, service is immediate, everyone is super friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Five years ago, as we ventured through downtown Tucson in pursuit of a plant-based dining experience, we were met with a closed door of our first choice, leading to an unexpected gem – Urban Fresh. In the realm of second choices, this one turned out to be nothing short of remarkable. Having sampled vegan fare in various cities around the country, I can genuinely say that Urban Fresh holds a special place in my heart. Whenever I visit Tucson, it's become a must-stop. We wholeheartedly recommend Urban Fresh to our friends and colleagues who visit Tucson. The owner and staff treat each visitor as if they were an extension of their own family. The true measure of a restaurant's excellence lies not just in its wonderful dishes, but in the way it makes you feel. Every visit is a memorable experience. Stop in and you’ll see, Urban Fresh will beckon you with open arms and a menu that's nothing short of plant based excellence.

Get the special of the day. Trust me,it will feed your soul. The house made lemonade is amazing. You cannot go wrong eating here! Such a cool little spot and the service is very friendly and helpful.

An absolute gem and paradise for any food lover, and more so any plant based diets. This staff is incredibly friendly and kind, and the food is stunning. Highly highly recommend checking them out. Nice location downtown, parking nearby. Prices are amazing too. Can't wait to come back!

I come here regularly, at least once a week, and am so grateful for the wonderful food offered at Urban Fresh every day. Their specials are diverse, creative, and delicious. The soups are flavorful (that creamy roasted tomato soup blows my mind!!), and the taco salad? A work of art! Go. Talk to Chauncey. He'll steer you right. :)

My sister and I were so excited to find this vegan gem while in town for the day. Beyond the delicious smoothies and baked goods, we were met with the most kind and thoughtful customer service. Chauncey even helped us plan out our sightseeing! We had such a wonderful experience here at urban fresh!

Within hours of getting to Tucson, the impeccably crafted food and warm-hearted people at Urban Fresh had us travelers feeling like we were at home! We’re on a long bicycle tour with our dogs, and the owners & staff noticed our bike setup and came out to chat and give fresh water & homemade sweet potato treats to the dogs. The Reuben was easily the most satisfyingly umami plant-based sandwich I’ve ever had; the house-made seitan “pastrami” packs a flavor punch. The pad Thai wrap is equally delicious, with intense nutty-gingery sauce and the kind of crisp veggies I most crave when I’m on the road. Oh and the vegan cupcakes? They’re dense, moist morsels of dessert heaven. We especially loved the frosting on the berry zinger, which tasted just like a strawberry smoothie! Huge thanks to Urban Fresh for the generosity and amazing food!! It’s clear that this eatery serves a community and does it with heart. We strongly recommend it, to vegans or flexitarians or anyone, even an avowed carnivore should be happily surprised by the hefty, healthy sustenance here!

⚠️ALERT⚠️ meat eater review of a vegetarian eatery will commence... ... Now 👀 I'm venturing out of my meat eating, animal product consuming, farm/ranch raised roots (thank you sweetheart 😘 for broadening my horizons). So, just know that if you are with me on this journey of trying new things Urban Fresh is a fantastic place to venture. I had the 🍄 burger and not only was it filling but it's one of the top 3 no meat burgers I've tried so far. I did get a bite of the dark chocolate and cherry scone and wow! And just FYI they cater 👍 I heard good things about the spinach wrap and the green berry smoothy too 😉. If that's not enough to get some of my fellow carnivores to join me in trying a meatless meal I don't know what will 🤔 - do it, try it, be brave 💪.

So far so great! I've been here four times now and keep getting impressed. From the BLT to the juices to the wraps.. this is a must try for anybody who enjoys flavorful food!

Because of my rather extensive allergies, there was a lot I couldn't eat there, and I in fact discovered a new allergy there. However. The service is impeccable, they have a variety of menu options that cater to pretty much anyone that would be interested in this place to begin with. Everything was very friendly, and I enjoyed my time there. They have watermelon lemonade. Let me repeat that: they have *watermelon lemonade." The amount of watermelon and sugar isn't where I would personally prefer it, but it was good, and very exciting. They also have beautiful succulents on all the tables, and they have a price right there on them - if you fall in love with one of them, you can buy it from them! I had a raw seed burger with kale chips. The burger itself was pretty good, and the kale chips were freaking amazing. As I told my friends, "they are absurdly good." When I noticed I was allergic to something I was eating, I asked if there was ginger in anything I ordered, and the person at the front asked the folks in the back and was told the dip had a bit in it. Said cook came out and saw what I had and explained what was in the dip and that he thought I had a different dip, and that nothing I had should have ginger in it. Having the cook come out - the person who actually makes the things, not someone who puts them together on a plate - and look at what I had and go through what's in them. That was fabulous and I really appreciate that. I took the time to eat every piece of what was on my plate on its own to determine what I was allergic to, and discovered it was the sprouts. While I personally won't be going back, that's because I'm allergic to like everything they have, not because of literally anything else. I have quite a list of allergens that are commonly in foods. If I didn't, I would absolutely go again. If nothing else, i recommend going just to find out if *you* like it here. Because I think this is the kind of place that varies widely depending on the person.

This place is great. If you're visiting Tuscon for the first time make this your first stop like we did. After a long flight we got refreshed and refueled on wraps, smoothies and juices. Then got ALL the local food recs and travel tips from Chauncey, the wonderful owner of this spot. He clearly has a deep affection for the city and the good food and people in it, and deserves all the loves he gets back.

First vegan restaurant and it was amazing. Even got some homemade sweet potato scones. The tea was also tasty and the service was impeccable. We will be back!

Visiting from Silver City NM. Everyone was super helpful going over the menu and offering recommendations. Definitely looking forward to our next visit when we’re in town.

One of the best vegan places in town, had the biscuits and gravy in addition to the French toast. Both were fantastic. They serve a variety of meals using their own unique style as well as a full menu of fresh made smoothies and juices to suit any taste. The staff there are very friendly and the place is well kept. Been there several times and will surely be there many more times. Thank you for all of the advice on vegan options and keep up the great work!

Came from Yuma, AZ...... This is such a great little spot for vegan food!!! Sweet Potato Pancakes!!! 😋😋😋 BLT Sandwich 🤗 I savored every bite!! One of the best vegan restaurants I've ever experienced! Prices are so reasonable and portions are great!! Tables have live plants for sale!!! Great Idea! Pancakes and a Pancake Plant! 😃

Delicious and fresh vegan food! Had the Reuben my last visit and it was super tasty. Highly recommend! Chauncey, the owner, even hooked it up with a free pretzel bread! Very nice people.

This morning I made my way to Urban Fresh, and it’s been a while since I’ve been in! But let me tell you how satisfying my green goddess wrap was!! Not to mention my warm berry scone. It was AMAZING and I couldn’t get enough! If you are looking for something fresh and delicious this is the place! Great customer service! The two gentlemen that helped me this morning made me feel welcomed. Thank you for a great start of my morning 🙏🥰

Incredible! Well worth the drive downtown for this incredible gourmet food. I especially love their amazing raw vegan options. If you try the raw vegan options, you will feel full yet energized for the rest of the day. We loved everything we tried, from the "calamari" raw vegan tacos, to the raw coconut ceviche soup, to the raw brownie. The new owners are wonderful, very warm and welcoming. Urban Fresh is better than ever!

Delicious, satisfying, delightful, these are but a few words that may come to mind when experiencing the fine cuisine at Urban Freash! The only organic vegan restaurant in town that caters to the dietary needs of raw food, dairy free, celiac, and gluten/pesticide free, people. Gracious and considerate to all customers with joy in the service as well as the food! This place is just what one needs for a real meal!

The last two years, I've been trying to make the switch from animal based to plant base consumption of food simply because the health benefits associated with a plant based diet are numerous. I was downtown Tucson looking for a place to eat and found Urban fresh, I was hooked. I tried taking my family to dine there this past Sunday and was disappointed to find them closed, the food is absolutely delicious. Oh, the service was five star as well.

DEE-licious!! I am not vegetarian, just looking for some healthy food. Green Goddess wrap was great! Loved the hummus and pesto in there. Lrg enough to have leftovers since I wanted a smoothie to go. Really enjoyed the maca Java....Best Smoothie I have ever had. Great flavor, light and loved the bits of dates and cocoa I could taste in there. Friendly staff, and tables were clean. Also, enjoyed seeing the herb plants they had for sale. Very neat place, will be back!

I may not be a vegetarian or vegan but I continually crave the fresh and innovative food here. The soups are always on point and the continually changing daily specials are fun surprise every time. The portions are also large and very filling. Many times I have been unable to eat everything on my plate!

My favorite restaurant in Tucson! Innovative and always creative and delicious, I've never had a bad meal at Urban Fresh. Great whole foods prepared with love. I especially like that they don't try to create plant-based versions of the SAD (Standard American Diet) but showcase real ingredients combined in intriguing ways. The wraps and scones are wonderful, but I always enjoy the daily specials, always something new and interesting. Great atmosphere and friendly, professional service.

We loved our first visit to Urban Fresh for lunch. The salad ingredients were better than fresh -- they tasted like vegetables used to taste. Absolutely great! We're saving the GF Strawberry vegan scone for later!

It's wonderful to find a place that offers clean, fresh foods. The special with zucchini noodles, spinach and cashew balls with a wonderful dressing was tasty, fresh and filling. The staff was wonderfully accommodating to special diet needs.

Absolutely loved this place!!! I tried the weekly special, Fiesta Wrap, and it came with a small drink. Sooo delicious!!! Super recommended!

Delicious food prepared by lovely, knowledgeable people who welcome me like I'm in their home. A real jewel in downtown Tucson that never disappoints!

I walked in with a special custom order request and he made it for me right on the spot. They use FRESH coconut water! I visit them for a delicious smoothie every time I'm downtown.
