Rosa's has a pleasant decor and some of the best Mexican food you will find north of 22nd street. Their shredded beef tacos are served in a freshly homemade corn shell that is deep fried. My cardiologist probably wouldn't approve, but damn, they're good!
Definitely 8.5/10. Chili rellano is one of the best I've had recently 9.5/10, beef chimi 8/10, rice 5/10, beans 8/10, salsa & chips 10/10. Cute traditional ambiance, fast (but not super friendly) service. All & all one of the better Mexican spots & definitely best I've tried in that area.
I was looking for a good green chili soup and Rosa’s was the best! Just the right level of spice with the chili’s, some chicken and potatoes and rice. The perfect bowl of green chili soup!

Absolutely great Mexican food. I ordered a #5 combination: shredded beef taco, red chili tamale, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. It was still sizzling when served. Wow. I really enjoyed this meal. Even the salsa was good. Just enough heat for flavor. I highly recommend Rosa's.

The food here was not just great but it tasted authentic. Portion size and pricing was also good and just the right amount per person. Great little Mexican restaurant that may be the best in Tucson. I had the George enchilada style (chimi) breakfast platter with chorizo, delicious! Oh, and definitely get the guacamole crisp!
This restaurant has been around forever. The original owner has passed. The service was ok, but inconsistent. The fajitas were not grilled long enough. The tamales were really skinny. I'm disappointed. The cheese crisp was so greasy.
The ambience and the food at rosa’s was amazing. The taste is authentic and there are a lot of food options. The staff and everyone at the place are very kind and make your time spent here highly worth it.

EVERYTHING was Amazing. I had the Best EVER Chicken Chimichanga, w/rice beans & red sauce. They also make their own Limeaid ,which I saved half to finish today 💖 The entire staff made our visit extra wonderful & if you are ever able to get there, I highly recommend Rosa's Mexican Food Restaurant💖💖
