Wait wasn’t too bad but the staff was quick and service was on point and always checking in. The meals came out quickly and was good. The potpie was hot and yummy. The lobster Mac creamy and tasty. The fish and chips was good but wishing the fish was warmer but paired with a nice tarter sauce. Didn’t try the kid’s spaghetti but the wee one liked it and with fries what kid wouldn’t like it. A nice restaurant if you're celebrating something special. Great for larger groups. Prices are slightly higher which is why I recommend it for special occasions. Pretty big restaurant with delicious food. Larger servings too. Not impressed with the drinks and dessert selection.

Food was good but nothing super special. On the other hand the service was spectacular, our waitress really went above and beyond to serve and make us feel welcome. The interior is very rustic, and beautiful. The fire place and river rock walls look amazing with the wood beams and supports.

Update: After I sent all the information, I got some compensation - so today I went to the restaurant and it was much much better! The service was great exactly like the 1st time but the food? So delicious! The dishes were great and big enough, I didn't even finish all of the side dish. They're really did a great job this time. The manager was very nice and I felt like he and the nice waiter really want me to get satisfied... Be sure I will visit them again. Thank you. Recommend!! The service was outstanding!!! The sirloin steak was well done instead of medium well... The side dish was too small! The price is too much expensive for what we got. Don't waste your money... You can get more for your dollars.

I really enjoyed the wings and salad,wife had ribs and asparagus with mushrooms, artichoke dip was really good, and to top it off Stawnanna blend to wash it all down. Thank you very much the food was delicious. We really appreciate you

Thought about the Pot Pie, decided on ribs. Wanted dessert, no room. However the 6 layer chocolate cake could have been taken to go. We did enjoy a Coffee Martini and a Bananas Foster. Everything was delicious 😋 and our server was really nice. Loved the cheese bread and salad.

I haven't been here in about 10-12 years... The reason I haven't returned because I didn't have the best experience there... Since, I went there today for my birthday. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Claim Jumper.. Our server - Daniella was on top of everything! She made sure our drinks were always filled, she was easy going, let us take our time to look over the menu, friendly personality, assertive, she was also very kind and respectful!! I ordered the Lobster B.L.T with parmesan onion rings!! the picture doesn't do justice! it It melted in your mouth after you got that nice soft crunch from the parmesan grilled bread... My boyfriend told her that it's my birthday at the end after she asked us if we wanted any desserts, she's like your getting a birthday cake even if you need to bring it home with you!. I'm so glad she did because that cake was unbelievably amazing!! it was a 3 layer chocolate cake with fudge frosting with walnuts!! omg!! it was phenomenal!! We both will be definitely going back!! It’s one of the best restaurants in Tucson. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Their menu contains many kinds of delicious dishes. Very recommended!

Loved the experience they had the largest piece of chocolate cake that was amazingly delicious and their clam chowder was very good and did not taste fishy. Service was also good.

Appetizers were delicious you'll definitely enjoy the bread, portions of food were huge definitely worth the price the burgers we had were excellent

This was my first visit to a claim jumper restaurant. I was surprised to find out that this particular location was no longer part of the landry's concept chain. However, the restaurant still honored my points, and even gave me a 10% discount. The food was great and the service equally great.

The onion rings were delicious. I ordered the mini pizza. I told the waiter that when I ordered the pizza the last time, the crust was soggy. When the pizza, the crust was soggy again, I asked the waiter for some napkins that I used to soak up the fluid that was on the plate under the pizza. Once I placed the napkins there, the crust was better. Whoever cooks the pizza needs to put the pizza on a dish that does not contain liquid of any kind. Maybe it's grease from the pepperoni, don't know. The pizza has a great flavor, but the fact the crust is soggy spoils it.

If I could rate the service that we received it would be less than poor. Let me paint the picture for you. It was our last night in Tucson as we were leaving our daughter who was starting school at U of A. We suggested Claim Jumpers since we had not been there in a very long time. everything was going well, our waiter seemed to be very busy but made sure he spoke and offered to take our order. We ordered appetizers and soup before our main course. We were talking for a while and noticed that we had not received our soup or our appetizers,the manager walked by and hardly made eye contact he, processed to the table behind us to apologize for something and moved on to another table to do the same,when he came back he said that I was looking at him so he decided to stop and ask if we were ok and what we needed. At the that time we told him that we have not received our soup or appptizers,he apologized and came back with our clam chowder the only thing is we ordered 4 clam chowders but only 3 were clam chowder and the 4th one was potato soup. After about 5 minutes we got the attention of the manager and he appoligized and got us the correct item,when he returned we asked about our appetizers ,he went inTo the back and stated that the appetizers were never ordered and that we would have more room for desert ? in the meantime the party that was behind us received the bill and the waiter our waiter told them to look at the bill and stated that the manager comped the entire bill,don't get me wrong we would have not went to this place if we could not afford it.the thing that pissed me off the most is how they were trying to tell me the benifits Of not getting our order right and saying that now we have room for desert. WTF am I a kid with no expectation of good customer service and a manager that knows that they dropped the ball and not do anything to fix it. The manager kept stating that we would have room for dessert, but yet never offered us anything for their screw up. If I wanted Destinys would have ordered it.

Beautiful building, hostess & server very polite, open kitchen overall very loud, long wait after order being placed 48minutes to be accurate for food to come to the table at room temperature We came once before when this place opened, 2nd visit & Most likely won't eat their again... why it wasn't mentioned to manager/ well saw him quite busy listening to the same complaint from 2 tables opposite from ours, my interest wasn't to get a discount from bill or a free desert, we ate are cold diners had desert & gave 20% tip.

The service was quite acceptable. Our waiter made sure our drinks were full and the food was ok. However, mine and another of my party recieved our food with more than half of our meal cold. It took 28 min from placing the order to recieving it, so in that time our food cooled immensely. On top of that the portions have been scaled back considerably over time. Overall it was an adequate meal but severely overpriced.

Most food ordered by our group was good. Mine came out cold and dry, I had to send it back it was so bad! While waiting the waitress finally came and asked if I'd like another drink while waiting, I said yes if I didn't have to pay for it, she laughed and said I would have to, by the time my food came back, it was better, cooked by different cook she said, everyone else was done eating...took it home, reheated food is never as good! Won't be going back....Penelope our waitress should have gone to manager to see how she could compensate for 1st cooks bad cooking! At your prices another cocktail while I waited wouldn't have killed you, or cut cost of my dinner in half...it was a b day celebration! ! Ruined for me!

I was invited to my brother's 75th Birthday there last night. 10/28/16 and I had not been there before, but my experience there was, the food was ok not enough gravy on my piece of chicken and too much crust. The mashed potatoes were a little dry. But the bread was great, and our waiter was awesome. Too bad I didn't get his name but he was awesome. Kudos to him

Picked up a to go order of burgers. Burgers were over cooked and the cheese was burnt on them. They were dry... No thousand island dressing like in the description. Fries were good, but after eating a few, they got hard really fast. Prices went up a lot and food quality went down even more. Avoid this place!

If your looking for a nice place to eat come here. Atmosphere is lovely, staff is great, and the food is amazing.

We went to dinner there for my mom's birthday on Sunday. Never been there before. Food was great, big portions. Our waitress was phenomenal. They even brought out a plate for my 1 1/2 year old niece with mandarin oranges, Apple sauce, sliced cheese, and crackers. This was done just because. That impressed me. They brought out this huge piece of cake that we were able to share. Will definitely go again.

The food and service was wonderful. We were having a birthday dinner for my son but we weren't registered to get a free cake. The waiter got the ok from the Manager to give my son a big yummy red velvet cupcake.

My son and I were there to celebrate Father's Day. The food and the service were excellent. Both of us are still digesting our meal. 😆

They have great customer service, if your order is messed up the manager will come to your table make sure you are happy before you leave. The gluten free menu is nice. I believe it is worth going out and giving it a try. Enjoy the nice atmosphere.
