My daughter and I drove down to Tucson from the Phoenix area to do some shopping. We decided to grab some food before our trek home. We did a quick search to see what was close by and decided to stop here. I mean why not I've never known anyone's Nana to make bad food. We had the absolute best experience and a great lesson in tequila. I had simply asked why I saw so many people leaving with bottles of tequila and we were treated to a great story and education. We sampled one and also left with bottles of tequila. It might be a bit of a drive but we'll definitely be going back on the service alone. Clearly the regulars are loved and appeared to be treated as family. Though being new to the place we never felt unwelcome or less important than the regulars.

I'll be honest never heard of this place. Went to the tucson margarita championship and I took one sip of their passion fruit margarita and I knew instantly it was winner. I had to bring hubs to try this drink and to try the menu and it didn't disappoint. We'll worth the 30 minute drive!!!

Went to pick up takeout, got treated to a full blown rock concert! The live music was pretty great with a crowd of folks really getting into it. Pretty loud, so maybe not for the person looking for a quite night with their tacos (at least on Saturdays). Food tasted great!

Carne asada taquitos were full of flavor. Staff was very friendly . It's small and can get very loud at the bar area if you don't mind the noise. I will be going back to try other items on the menu.

Love the atmosphere great and friendly service. Love Nana's special tacos and Chimi's also give a shout-out to the Sangria. As someone whose family owns restaurants in Tucson, trust me you cannot go wrong with choosing Nana's for a great meal and new friends.
