This is old school diner breakfast. When a place opens at 5:30am and closes before 5pm you know it has potential. Not disappointed. 3 Eggs perfect medium-well 4 big sausage links. Sliced potatoes crispy. Real rye toast. Smuckers jam. You kiddies with your high priced First Watch like chains. You’re ruining fine breakfast dining. Do not be fooled by the hole in the wall outside appearance. This place is legit. Go in. Give Connie a chance to treat you to a real East coast Greek style diner breakfast experience minus the dessert cabinet and the alcohol. Lol.

This was a little gem! Very low key, no frills atmosphere. Food is American eats breakfast and lunch. "Mom & Pop" type of place with large portion meals, very reasonable pricing, clean, and the service (Tanya) was given with a smile and I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup.

On A Lark we stopped by this place on our way back from northern Tucson and read the reviews which were pretty amazing. Upon finding this location we were almost ready to turn back as it did not look like it was going to be As pleasant as we had hoped. However as soon as we walked in we noted the waitresses and the front end staff were smiling and seem to be genuinely happy. We ordered Eggs Benedict Florintine and hot roast beef sandwich. They were actually very good. We were also challenged to try their Apple pie alamode and it was exquisite. I would have no problems advising anyone to eat there with the caveat that it is not fancy you're going there to eat basically really good food for a very reasonable price. The waite staff were extraordinarily nice and we felt right at home

Seriously one of the best Egg Benedict’s I have ever had! No Yoke! (See what I did there). Perfectly toasted muffin, green chili slices, hand formed beef chorizo patty, chipotle, poached eggs topped with an awesome hollandaise sauce, dusted with smoky paprika. OhEmGeee!
Remember, It doesn't matter where you spend it, just spend it locally!

Very friendly diner where the staff greets local loyal customers by name. The menu is robust and there are plenty of options for anyone's taste. I went there for breakfast and had the three eggs with sausage patties. I also tried the biscuits and gravy. I wasn't pleased with the hasbrowns because they were bland and watery, like they had been thawed out from the freezer while they were on the grill. My coffee cup was never empty and I was we'll taken care of.

We were looking for a greasy spoon and found this place by chance at about noon on a Tuesday. It was busy but not crowded. The food and the service were amazing! It has an old diner feel with a service counter and very reasonably priced! I can’t say enough good things about this place except to add that our server, Gray, was perfectly delightful, courteous, and attentive. I highly recommend the Bread and Butter cafe!

Really nice place. 1st time customer here for breakfast. The very friendly staff provides great service -- our coffee mugs were so frequently refilled. Prices were reasonable and portions large.

Grabbed some great biscuits and gravy in Tucson Arizona. Some of the social sites mentioned Bread and Butter café. Hearty portion, fresh biscuits, I ordered a side of sausage patties to just add a little bit more to the mix. Overall a good meal. I also ordered a piece of homemade chocolate pie because they had homemade chocolate pie. It was excellent. Service was a five star. And the bathrooms were spotless.

Breakfast all day! Yah,my first time at this mom n pops feel, greeted at the door, and served fresh brewed coffee right away! I ordered the eggs Benedict, truly spectacular! The hollandaise sauce was amazingly delicious, wow wow wow, and thier hashbrown is crispy on the outside and soft n moist on the inside, like a baked mashed...I'm blow, and the fact that that they have been here 27 years! I'm definitely coming back! You guys rock it out thank you for the delish food, and fast friendly service.

We were looking to kill some time as our car got worked on and I initially wrote this place off as a greasy spoon. I could not have been more wrong. Terry was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely excited about the food. She said the tuna melt was a 50 on a scale of 10 and she was not exaggerating. I wish I had 2 stomachs, it was so good. Husband had biscuits and gravy with delicious homemade biscuits. We watched as regulars come in, greeted by name. I could not recommend this place enough!

We're from Little Rock and are trying new things every day! This cafe was by far the best food we've had since we've been out here! The banana bread is to die for! Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and rolls were the best I've had in a long time! Will definitely be going back!

This is exactly what I want in a neighborhood diner/cafe. The food was amazing, portions are big, pies are delicious, but its the service...the service at Bread and Butter is top quality. The servers were courteous, knowledgeable, fun and above all nice.
Even on a busy lunch our food was at the table in no time. New favorite breakfast/lunch spot in Tucson. Hands down!

One of the few "hole in the wall" breakfast joints to serve good, honest to goodness home fries. Not that frozen crap from a bag!

Came here today 03/09/18 and Service was Excellent. Our Waitress I really forgot her name omg she was wonderful though she kept checking back with us if we needed anything coffee, water she was friendly and Nice. It’s a Small place And it seemed like there were quite a lot of Regulars -people that come in there often because The Staff knew them by names. Prices were reasonable and Great not pricy at all. My wife an I enjoy finding small cafés to eat breakfast on Sunday mornings. The Bread & Butter is by far the best in town! Great food, great prices and excellent service. The staff is there to greet you and find you seat a soon as possible on busy mornings, your order is taken quickly and the food comes out so fast that I never get past the front page of the Az Daily Star. I never worry about an empty coffee cup because it is kept filled. Like I said we enjoy looking for new small local places to eat - but we always come back to our favorite Bread & Butter!
