This place was very elegant and welcoming, food was top notch brought to us by an amazing waiter. I'm excited to go back and try dinner here and cant wait to bring some friends and family with me. Very great experience.

I ordered the special for the evening, a delicious plate of chili relleno. Food was great, but service was slow and the table wasn't set for four people, so utensils, plates, water glasses came to the table slowly. Overall an excellent place for a celebratory dinner with our graduate. I was happy we could have a conversation without having to shout.

Food was good, but kind of pricey for what's given. I opted for the bistro portion of the fried avocado tacos, which I understood would be one decently sized taco, but it was primarily filled with the coleslaw mixed filling and just one small sliver of fried avocado. You could barely locate it among the filling so that was disappointing. Truffle fries were pretty good. The mushroom bisque was fantastic and the chocolate chip cookie fresh baked with ice cream was very tasty as well! My friends also agreed their food was good, but not outstanding. My other said the cajun pasta felt lacking, but couldnt pinpoint why apart from the majority of the flavor came from the andoille. There was live music when we went which wasnt overbearing and pleasant to listen to as well.

Food and service was great. There was a live jazz band. Prices are reasonable. Only negative was our table was in a weird spot right by the door and it was somewhat slanted. It looks like they tried to get as many tables in that they could.

UPDATE: The owner contacted me personally to discuss the order and offered to make it right on the next one. I appreciate the attention and concern. ONCE GREAT, NOW BELOW AVERAGE My family has gone to this restaurant for many years. The food and service have been great, and the mac-and-cheese is amazing. With the pandemic, we have regularly ordered take-out. Unfortunately, with recent orders, there have been issues - a missed entree or side dish. And then yesterday, a completely underwhelming order of the otherwise delicious mac-and-cheese. I noticed the order was packed in 2 small boxes -- surely, this couldn't be the full $18.50 "meal size". The "manager" said he would take care of it, took the food back, and simply dumped the paltry amount into larger containers. We trusted that the order had been corrected and didn't check until we got home. You tell me, do the pictures show $37 of mac-and-cheese? We will not be coming back until service improves, at an appropriate cost. Very disappointing how far this restaurant has gone down in less than a year.

My first time eating here was absolutely amazing. Chicken Scallopini and scallops with risotto. Will definitely be eating three again. Atmosphere was beautiful.

So sad! 3 generations of women all wanting to try to Pastiche. Mahi mahi tacos had to be sent back immediately they were so fishy, I watched my mother spit it out. Prime rib sliders were tasteless BUT the caprese stack was really good. Also got bourbon salmon and it too was a little fishy but not disgusting and quinoa good as well. I suggest the chefs veggies be cooked less to keep a nice fresh feel

Nice under appreciated restaurant. The food here is always good and fairly priced. The atmosphere is nearly fine dining with a professional well dressed wait staff and nicely plated meals. Service is quick food is of high quality.

We celebrated a birthday and it was the perfect place. Rob, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. His description of the specials made us want all of them. The scallops, threaded with spears of rosemary and cooked to perfection with a crust of black pepper, were accompanied by thinly sliced cooked garlic, roasted cherry tomatoes, and a bed of fresh asparagus. Absolutely delicious. I wish I could have it again tonight.

Always excellent service and I like that we seem to always have David as our waiter. He knows what we drink and is always delightful. The food has never failed to be delicious! Our entire entourage loves going there . Wednesday nights light saxophone playing, he’s excellent. Can’t say enough good.

Always a good meal and service. Even with new ownership, it has remained consistently good. Located in the middle of Tucson’s restaurant row, this establishment shines a bit brighter because of its service an on site owners. Open late too so that’s a huge plus after games or theatre.

What a fabulous night out! Last minute selection for my husband and I, and we are glad we picked Pastiche Modern Eatery. The staff, Hunter (hostess), Shaun (busboy), and Rob (waiter) were pleasant and welcoming. The food was an absolute culinary joy! Appetizing and fresh....made you want to lick your plate after the last morsel. :-) Love the bristo sizes of most dishes! We WILL be returning to enjoy this gem of a restaurant. Kudos!

I have eaten at this fine establishment many times in the past, and it never disappoints. This outing was in celebration of a work colleague. The food is delicious, creative, and perfectly prepared. The service, impeccable. The ambiance, invititing. As a board member for Invisible Theatre, we have "toasted" many events and appreciate Pastiches continued support. It was a pleasure, also, to meet the new owners.

Made reservations for xmas. We both had the prime rib. Both were way over cooked for prime rib, which should be barley medium. We sent them back.New ones were still over cooked, but I wasn't going to wait longer. Tasted ok, but for almost $30 each I expected some quality. Service was very friendly. Our two waitresses were kind and tentative. Desert was very good. I would probably not go back here being that it's too expensive for the low quality.

Not Likely to Return. We went in with high hopes. The glass of wine my wife ordered was rancid. When we flagged the waitperson down 10 minutes later she was happy to replace the glass, suggesting another wine on the menu. Since we didn't have the menu we didn't know that it was more expensive than what we originally ordered. Of course they charged us the more expensive price. The meals came out 45 minutes later and both the pork loin and the lamb chops were raw in the middle. Not rare, but almost refrigerator temperature. Again it took 10 minutes to locate the waitperson. The reheat took 20 minutes longer. The meat was cooked properly and was tasty. No apology from the manager, not even an offer for a complementary glass of wine while we waited for our dishes to be finished. Not smart business people. No wonder the restaurant was almost completely empty.

Not a good experience at Pastiche. Went for a late Valentines dinner with my wife and decieded to try Pastiche as we had not eaten there in a long time. My wifes meal was fine - a spicy pasta dish. I ordered a daily special - Ahi Tuna, mashed potatoes, shreded veggies. When my dish arrived the plate was cold and all the food was luke warm. I sent it back asking for hot food. The food came back on a cold plate the potatoes and veggies were luke warm and the tuna was over cooked - not rare in the middle. I sent this dish back as well. Finally on the third try the meal came back on a hot dish, the potatoes and veggies were hot and the fish was perfect. The server took my meal off the bill which was appreciated. Finally i ordered a double espresso and some desert. The espresso came in a coffee cup, about half full and was totally black with no evidence of the brown crema that should come with an espresson prepared properly.<br/><br/>I now remember why I hadn't been to Pastiche for a few years and will probably not come back again.

Had dinner their the other night with my family and found the waiter to be very unfriendly and acted as if we were doing him a favor ! This guy been working there for quite some time and has always been unfriendly , with this being a birthday and having to focus more on his attitude then the event we certainly will not be going back. The hostess also made a big deal about the table we requested when the place was half empty ! I have to guess this attitude issue is coming down from the top? Its a shame since I was a long time customer but I think the management must not care very much about changing the poor morale? Oh well with all the new choices of restaurants this will soon bite them in the ass ets. Prices are also over the top!!! Bye bye fat a**!

All bread, no meat. I decided to try one of their sandwiches. I ordered a turkey sandwich. If you like a lot of white bread (I can't imagine who would) and just a little bit of meat, you've come to the right place! Not worth the $10. And I, too, didn't particularly like the place. It seems a little stuffy, attitude-wise I mean. I wouldn't go back. I like the idea that they give $2 to the food bank for their soup, but $6.50 for a bowl of soup is just a little too much, even if it was gourmet (which it's not).

Disappointed in Management. I sent a letter complaining about a very rude waitress in the bar, as myself and 2 companions were having lunch there one day. She was curt to everyone, you know, making you feel like "why'd you come in here and bother me?" I sent a letter to management complaining about her. I never heard back from them, so I had my secretary call them. And they said they were going to send certificates for 3 free meals, which I believe they never really did, because we have a small post office where I live and they never received them. Then the owner told us the second certificates they sent were used, which again no one gets the mail except me, so that cannot possibly be. We did call them the first time, correcting any possible wrong address and they had got it right. I then sent another letter and said we never really heard what you did with the waitress, which was my original complaint. I also said, instead of sending certificates, why don't you just put my name on a list and the fact that we have three meals on the house and I'll come in. They never responded. I believe the certificates were never sent and they pacify their complaints by outright lies. It's too bad that they would act this way. I identified myself as a Reverend, as well as my 2 companions, so they knew I wasn't complaining for complaining's sake. So much for the management of Pastiche's. My secretary spoke to both the father of the owner and the son, the owner.

This place is great! Atmosphere was great and all the food was even better. Highly reccomended especially on Tuesday night steak night.
