Didn't know it was a vegan place until I ordered al pastor burrito and the hostess told me about the ingredients, but it was amazingly tasty. Service was great. After ordering the food we realized that they charged us for 2 burritos instead of 1 and got the instant refund. The ambiance was great. The smoothie was yummy. Would definitely visit again when in Tucson. Beware, limited parking spaces in the front so you might have to do street parking and walk to the restaurant.

Really good food with strong flavors. Also, food here is vegan or vegetarian which makes the flavors and textures of the meats different, in a good way. Definitely worth trying.

I am a big food network watcher and saw this on an episode. So my husband and I gave it a try. It’s one of our favorite spots in Tucson. Definitely wish there was a restaurant in my hometown. We try something new every time and we’re never disappointed.

Spectacularly good vegan expressions of Mexican standards are provided by a cheerful and friendly staff. Enchiladas with mole sauce are stuffed with mushrooms and squash accompanied by avocado and spinach.
This is one of the best vegan restaurants in the US but you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy it.

Greeted upon entry, very friendly staff, not one but two of them making sure we could navigate the menu, offering many suggestions plus their staff favorites.
Flavors were spot on, fresh, and the pozole delivered to our table, on the house was a fun, surprise and delicious treat. WOW.

Been to both locations and have been very satisfied every time. No trip to Tucson is complete with a stop at either location. Food is exceptional and the portions are hefty, I always leave with leftovers and with a full belly. I love the vegan options and the gluten free options as well. The only complaint I have is the prices for the their drinks, they keep going up and are extremely high so I’ve stopped getting them and only come here for the food.

Amazing place for vegans and vegetarians, We order the pastor burrito, potato tacos. The jackfruit pastor was moderately spicy and very delicious, pleasant environment. The lady at the counter was really helpful in making our selections. Would definitely recommend for everyone and will definitely eat here whenever I am in Tucson.

I tried their risotto and the flavor was fantastic. I think that sometimes they change the flavor because this one was with mushrooms and other times they have it red. That's what I like about this place. You will never get tired of going because the menu changes constantly. and so we can try new and fresh things. They expanded the dining room and that is more comfortable.

By far my families favorite vegan restaurant experience to date!! The staff is so friendly and inviting. They even allowed our doggie inside to dine with us and fed her a gorgeous vegan puppy meal.
Then ... our food arrived, oh my goodness so delicious!! Best pancakes and Mexican plates we have ever had.
I don't write many reviews, this place deserves every 5 star review possible in our opinion. So grateful for beautiful food, made fresh with local ingredients that nourish the body and soul.

We found everything to be top notch here. The counter people were friendly, knowledgeable, and accurate with their descriptions and recommendations. The menu is a lot to get through but I was guaranteed I would love their suggestion and I did. The food was superb, beautiful on the plates with amazing flavors and so many textures. We even had a chance to talk with the owner, hear a bit about her background, and her love of cooking. The soup to start and the free coffee were like frosting on the cake.

Some of the best food I've had in Tucson. Awesome options (that apparently change daily?), super friendly staff. While I was eating the owner walked an elderly lady over to the menu and explained what everything was. How nice. Was truly blown away by the food. Can't wait to come back.

food and offerings are amazing! you can tell it's made with love. I am so glad to have a predominantly vegan and gluten free restaurant that is making its own food from scratch! the only problems we had were with the back door opening and closing (deliveries?) there was a big pressure change that hurt our ears, and we noticed a lot of plastic being used (straws, cups, utensils, bags) - we've been really conscious of this lately because of the massive environmental cost.
bottom line: we will be raving to our friends and visiting often!

I have never had vegan food before and this was not bad at all. I am sure if I was vegan it would have been delicious. My only gripes are drinking warm water and no ice available. Maybe ice was only available for purchased drinks?

Easily the best restaurant in Tucson. By far. Better quality food, healthier food, better service, and free soup and coffee. Holy cow, it’s so good that I can’t even believe it exists here. I feel like we don’t deserve it. It’s so good I feel guilty eating there. I love the vegan tamales. I love how clean and homey it is in there. But the soup is outrageous. It’s my favorite part. I’m a good cook myself.....but this restaurant makes me hate myself. I am inadequate. I will hang my head and eat there as often as I can.
Oh, and they made the best Tres Leches cake Ive ever had in my life. = (
