El Minuto Cafe - Tucson - Photo album

Little downtown gem. Ordered the cheese enchilada lunch special and it did not disappoint. Tremendous value. Red sauce is just how I like it with great flavor. Classic and authentic Mexican food. Will definitely return.
Todays experience was phenomenal. We had white menudo with bread along with rice and refried beans. We dipped the bread in the beans and soup, it made a delicious combination. Hector our waiter was professional as always and very customer focused.
This place has been around forever! Delicious Mexican comfort food. I forgot to take a pic of food until after I woofed it down.
Wow. Just wow. Excellent service, we were seated right away. Food was amazing! I had the shredded beef chimi. Cook even came out to see if everything was satisfactory! Can't say enough good things about our visit here.
Taste a leaning towards more American flavour. But it's still good.
I HAD THE 2 GROUND BEEF ENCHILADAS W BEANS AND RICE. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY GOOD HOWEVER MY 2 GUESTS WERE NOT PLEASED W THEIR SELECTIONS. OUR SERVER I THOUGHT WAS VERY PLEASANT. NOT MY BEST EXP
Cute little place! It was quite busy on a Friday night. The food was really good, my husband loved the red chili sauce on the enchiladas the most. Salsa is very deep flavored and some of the best in Tucson so far. The only thing I would suggest improving is the cleanliness. The floor was really very
I stopped for lunch at this convenient downtown location, I was greeted promptly and directed to a quiet table with a window view. The menu was varied and the prices reasonable. Service was fast and attentive and the food came quickly and was hot. My only disappointment was that although they ha
Ordered chicken fajitas; cleaned my plate. It was excellent. We had a party of approximately 36 people and everyone was all smiles during and after their meal. What was amazing was everyone got their food practically at the same time with very little wait. The service was perfect. The cost was reas
Hot plate (Hector)!! If you are ever in Tucson, or driving by I-10, definitely one stop you would want to take. Make sure to try their cheese crisps and crispy tacos.
Great environment, building is covered in gorgeous murals. We were greeted right as we came in and immediately seated. We were brought chips and salsa and waters right as we were seated. The salsa is to die for!! A little on the spicy end but definitely worth it. The chips are fresh and crisp. Speed
There is a reason this establishment goes back to 1939. The food was fantastic, flavorful and portions were a good size. We ordered the numbers 1, 5 and 6 lunch specials. ThE staff was friendly and proficient.
Good " traditional" Mexican ... more geared towards American/ Mexican American crowd. Nothing " too spicy" - almost bland. The lemonade was not authentic ( minute maid) but staff was super friendly, professional and everyone was attentive. Nice to know its still around.
The parking in the rear of the building was pretty full, but managed to find one spot. Several people inside including 6 law enforcement officer from The Pima County Sheriff's dept. We were seated immediately. The food was very good ( small plate of menudo,) 2 meals and two drinks, $31.00. Chips
I'll start with the one thing I didn't like: their's was the most bland green chili cheese crisp I've ever had. The tortilla was tasty but the cheese and green chilis were too mild. Adding salsa did improve it. The salsa was mildly spicy and very flavorful. I also had their carnitas tacos which were
We come here every time we are in town. When we lived in Tucson in the early 90s we were here weekly. The best tortilla soup and albondigas. It's classic, old school Tucson.
Had a great Red Chile burro lunch special... Waiter & help as good as always.
