Excellent decor, tvs, bar, some of the best food I have eaten in Tucson, great flavors on the enchilladas, seriously amazing taste of the green chili with fresh cilantro, very tasty margarita as well. It was date night and you guys made it wonderful, Thanks I was there Friday night, Marisol the server was friendly and attentive to us. I will return, to try something else off your great menu. I wanted to bring in my macayo mugs for a discounted refill on margaritas, lol
I have to say it took us while to go try Guadalajara, we missed Macayos desparately. We were extremely happy with food, service, prices, selections.
I'm picky, I'm a Tucson native and I was totally pleased.
It will be my go to Mexican food resturant.
I put them on the same plane as Miniditos.
I had the shrimp cocktail, shrimp were huge, cold, and salsa was fresh. The salsa Lady was at our table lickity split, fresh salsa made at your table to your desired heat, awesome.
I'm a chili relleno coinasurere, not too much batter, very generous chili. You have your choice of refried or black beans.
And, I had the 'gimme a double' Cadillac margarita. It was huge 32oz. And very good, was not short on the alcohol.
I didn't try dessert, was too full.
Wow! What an incredible experience. As soon as we were set at the table with menus, fresh salsa was made to our liking, and plenty of it!
We ordered a prickly pear frozen margarita and watched as others enjoyed their yummy drinks and sizzling food. The vegetarian menu includes a seemingly filling dish served in a volcanic rock dish- VERY cool!
Our tamales and enchiladas were incredible, very well seasoned and fantastic sauce to top. The beans were rich and the rice was flavorful.
We spent about $50+tip - what a great meal!
Fantastic service and plenty of staff. Everyone was in good spirits and seemed to be happy to be there
We went to Guadalajara Grill to celebrate my daughter's 21st Birthday. We had a party of 15 people. Sometimes with a party that large the service is not that great.. Can't say that about Guadalajara! They were amazing and dinner was amazing. We had the best waiter, I wish I could remember his name to recommend him cuz he really was great! He was on top of it the whole time. Everyone's food came out at basically the same time nice and hot and tasting very good! I didn't hear one single complaint from anyone of our guest. The waiter joked with us and had a great sense of humor! My daughter had an ice cream cake to celebrate her birthday and they were very accommodating to store it in the freezer for us while we all ate. All in all simply a great experience for my daughters birthday dinner. Would recommend for large groups to anyone! You just can't go wrong with Guadalajara! Thanks so much you guys! Keep up the outstanding work!!
Real authentic Mexican food! Fresh Salsa made at your table and my god, it was spicy. We both had chimichangas and they were so filling. The staff was so polite and attentive. Would highly recommend.
One are my favorite Mexican restaurants in visiting, Tucson.
This is my first time trying the ceviche, it was amazing. I also ended up getting the Molcajete combo.
Which allow you to try a variety of different meats. Steak, chicken, shrimp, as well as vegetables. Let’s not forget the fresh chips and salsa.
I came here around 4:30 and it was not too busy. Wonderful service and fantastic food. After living on the east coast for 9 years I really missed this type of restaurant. This is a wonderful example of what to look for to find a great meal with a fun experience.
The food was clean, fresh and amazing. Salsa was made to order at the table. I had the Snapper....EXCELLENT!
Was visiting from MD and really enjoyed my dinner here. I got the Chile Nogada which is something I'd never seen on a menu back home, and it was super delicious. The wait staff were friendly and made sure my drink was never empty. I also really liked the freshly made salsa.
I ordered a carne asada chimichunga with red enchilada sauce. I flew in earlier in the day and had not eaten until about 500 pm. The food was AMAZING. So much flavor, and I could not stop eating.
Update: Mocaljete is just as great as I remember.
I've heard lots of positive things about Guadalajara. I went there with my mother and aunt who eats there frequently.
The restaurant was quite busy on a Friday night. Our party of 4 had a 25 minute wait, which was not too bad. They came to seat us after 10 minutes.
Their menu seems to be very authentic with some American and tex mex items which is normal.
They come to your table and make salsa fresh. Ask mild, medium or hot. Very delicious. Fresh tortillas are made in the corner of the place.
We had the Queso Fundito de Chorizo as an appetizer. Absolutely delicious but be warned.. It's impossibly stringy! It's hilarious to try and get some of that on a chip or tortilla.
I ordered the burro panzon! Chicken, steak, bacon and shrimp with Pico de Gallo, guacamole and rice. Very good!
My wife had the Paella. She loved it and barely ate half.
Mother ordered burrito and aunt had the Molcajete Ultimo. Come boiling in a Volcanic rock bowl kept hot for hours.
Desert was flan. Very good again!
Portions were huge. Quality was great. Service was excellent. Everyone should have a great time there. Wonderful experience.
The atmosphere is calm and family friendly, the food is very good. You can eat lunch and be full and sometimes have for afterwards, if you come here your need to ask for the best salsa maker Yaya if you are a spicy lover or not a fan of spicy food Yaya will make both salsas. They are delicious! The food has a lot of flavors; But definitely Yaya makes the best salsa if you get a chance to come ask for her. The service is great if Ambar serves you she will be very attentive and will make your evening fun and kind, Ambar does a good job and Ambar has a good attitude towards you.
