I always take a seat at the bar closest to the till. The bartender, often flooded with orders, needs someone not in a rush. The bartender here was attentive, friendly, and suggestive when lightly prompted. Even though I went at lunch hour, on a Sunday, I did not feel any rush or stress in the room. Speaking of room it is đ beautifulâ¤ď¸.The open concept makes for not only a display of their team work and efficiency, but also allows a variety of plants to thrive amongst the guest. All of the staff is friendly not just to the customers but to each other. Front of house was attentive and helpful to the bartender. Back of house was bustling and communicative with the expeditor, who was always happy to see a server. Energy is big for me so I often don't find a place I'd want to dine in at more than once. I will be coming back here.

Make sure to make reservations well advanced, especially on Saturday. The Nachos Queso Blanco was spectacular. You can actually pick single taco combos rather than get 2 of the same. I ended up getting the shrimp, chicken, and steak. The Chicken was a little too charred for my liking. The shrimp was delicious. The steak was average. I donât recommend corn tortillas because they tend to break easily. Chicken Fajitas was delicious

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. I had the breakfast burrito which was honestly probably the best I've ever had. My mom had the enchiladas and said they were also one of the best enchiladas she has had. The dining area is well lit with natural light. Indoor and outdoor seating options.

Blanco Restaurant is an excellent choice for a Mexican restaurant with an American touch and style. Known for its high-quality food and inviting atmosphere, Blanco offers a diverse menu featuring authentic Mexican dishes prepared with a modern twist. They prioritize using fresh ingredients and strive to provide a memorable dining experience. You can expect great food, good value for money, and a taste of Mexico with a touch of American influence at Blanco Restaurant.

Blanco is a nice space with very good food. Cool urban chic Mexican vibe. The bar menu and tequila is the star and the food the backdrop for awesomeness. We ate at the bar a service was great. The bartender was quite friendly.
I especially love how the manager, Marissa, and FOX restaurants support local non-profits. I am a customer for life!

The carnita.tacos are perfectly seasoned and very tender! The sweet tamale is also ricisimo! The patio is a great place for an afternoon drink, or a small bite. Open air kind of place.

Went on a Saturday and it was a busy day. Staff was clear with the wait time, and since itâs âinâ the shopping area the wait time flew by.
We sat outside, and it was so great. Ambiance/atmosphere was great. Inside did look good as well, but the sun was shining.
Food wise, even though it was busy everything came out quickly. We had an app +entrees. Side note, the chips are very good!!! Theyâre thicker and not greasy tasting. The salsa has a little bit of kick to it, so if youâre sensitive to spice Iâd pass.
The entrees were great, and had lots of great flavor. Tacos are big for getting two, and the sides are pretty large portions. AND the back of house team takes food allergies and cross contamination seriously. I didnât feel worried at all after talking to my server. Really that consideration would be the biggest reason Iâd go back again.
Beverages we stuck to a simple green tea hibiscus lemonade, so refreshing!

One of my favorite restaurants in Tucson.
Edit : I am not liking how they reduced taco portions to 2 tacos instead of 3. You get bigger tortillas, but there seems to be less meat.
This isnât an authentic Mexican restaurant, but the food is still good in its own way. The quality and ingredients are good and the dishes are well made. The drinks are really good as well. I often crave their buttery rice.
Atmosphere is nice and lively.

Food had good flavor. The fajitas was very fillingâŚwould recommend if you are hungry. The restaurant was very noisy insideâŚwould suggest sitting outside.

Sooooo good! We had the Ceviche (delicious!!), Shortrib Machaco Burritos, and Tiramasu. Everything was over the top good, and they were large portions, too. We sat outside on the covered patio where there was a nice breeze blowing through, and our waiter was terrific - very personable, attentive, and informative.

I recently visited Blanco while on a business trip in Tucson. My experience was extremely unpleasant. I had high hopes since the reviews were so good, something I always check when visiting a new restaurant, but Blanco terribly disappointed.
I ordered the shrimp tacos and just as I was taking a bite into my third taco I noticed a mid-sized blond hair cooked into my shrimp. Our waiter was coincidently at our table at the time and I held it up for him and asked him if that was indeed a hair. He agreed and apologized, saying he would have the manager come to our table. I asked he take my plate, feeling sick to my stomach.
The manager approached our table a few minutes later with a plate in hand and asked who had ordered a shrimp taco. Just seeing the shrimp taco again made me want to throw up. I told the manager that I did not want nor had I ordered that taco. I could not believe he had actually brought another taco to our table. I felt this to not be good customer service practice. He apologized for what had happened to me and offered to cover my meal, which I appreciated.
Aside from this incident, I and also my coworkers felt that the food there was overly salted and not authentic in Mexican flavor. The tres leches cake was dry and the flan tasted like it came from a box-mixture. The ONLY thing I enjoyed was the Esquites.
Iâd say the only positive aspect of our visit to Blanco was our waiter Tyler who made his best effort after the incident w the hair, to make our visit enjoyable.
I never plan to visit this restaurant again nor do I recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food with good customer service from the managerial staff.

Our server Lucia was top-notch and totally enhanced our dinner experience. She shared that it was National Tequila Day and we could order margaritas using Patron for same price as house tequila. So we did and the margaritas were excellent. I think everyone enjoyed their meals. My only disappointment was the carnitas tacos. Fatty. Didnât eat them.

I'm fromTexas and visit my sons at least 3 times a year. My favorite place to eat especially Happy Hourďż˝. Prickly Pear margarita is refreshing and just the way I like it; a little tart. Food is always delicious and service is amazing. The staff is always courteous and attentive.

Got this as a recommendation from the hotel. Absolutely delicious food and Lisa did an outstanding job as our waitress. Can only recommend this place!

Interesting and varied menu, good food, friendly and knowledgeable service. Noise level prohibitive for conversation inside; I suggest dining on the patio.

Great food and great service. Itâs a wonderful place to go relax and spend time with friends and family. I highly recommend going there.

I've been here quite a few times and like the outdoor atmosphere but we went yesterday and my husband had wanted to get the queso fundito as he loves it and we were celebrating his birthday. Well the menu changed and they don't offer it anymore... and they really don't have too much to choose from. We had already ordered drinks so instead of eating dinner we decided to just get nacho's and go elsewhere. Now I know avacado's are more expensive now but they put the so little on it and the pieces were so tiny you had to look for them. This happened to me the last time we were there I ordered something with cheese and avocado and it was just cheese. I don't like to complain but I take issue with getting a Margarita that cost $10 in a small glass full of ice. Whatever happened to Margarita glasses. Is this a thing in Tucson. I came here from Chicago and if we ordered a Margarita we go to choose the size and they always came in a actual margarita glass. Also the waitress wasn't exactly the best. I do know one thing we will not be going back to this establishment in the future.

If it wasnât for the server that charged us the wrong amount, and didnât even bother to ask whoâs card was whoâs, it wouldâve been a pretty good experience. Their food is ok. The guacamole and grilled fish tacos is the best part.
Sharon Getz
Great margaritas, queso was good, the chips held up to the dip. I had the grilled salmon. It was cooked well, but it was a really small piece for the price. The tacos are really small too. The burrito could have had more meat in it. The dessert menu has only two items on it. So basically, portions are small for the money you spend. I'm not in a hurry to go back.

We love this restaurant the guacamole is perfect and love the small tacos and variety! Also, great views from patio!

Went there tonight (May 26) for dinner at about 7. Always before we have had a positive experience. For was good like always. Order two sangrias with our meal, they didnât arrive until 3/4 of the way through our meal, and letting the wait staff know we had not received our drinks 3 times. Excuses started-new staff & delivered to wrong table.
Then when the bill was returned to us wasnât our bill or credit card. Was straightened out and went on our way no worse for wear.

The food was really good and the service was great.... All the staff were very friendly and the manager came around to make sure everything was OK.... Definitely will be going back....

IMO, it's an open-air clean, shiny, new & pretty venue which appears to be a trendy hangout too.
Fabulous Chili Verde w/tomatillo and cilantro sauce served with delish beans, rice + avocado which was especially tasty. Large portions, nice waitstaff. I want to return for one of the many 'Ritas offered & sit on the misting patio. Also, it's a great place to rest after a day of shopping at this high-end designer mall which is, in itself, eye candy!

Waited an hour to be seated waited almost 40 minutes for my food my rice was cold so were my beans the only thing that was good was the enchiladas
Jim Dinkle
I had the extraordinary short rib burrito with black beans and rice. It was a delicious new take on Mexican cuisine. My guests were complimentary of their cocktails and the dishes they ordered. BTW, the guacamole was delicious and freshly made, yum! Excellent service.

Ordered an appetizer and our meals and for some reason our meals came and our app came about 10 minâs after, of course we sent it back seeing we were on our main course already. Iâm not sure if they are under new management but the food was mediocre, we have always enjoyed Blancos but I doubt we will return. They also have changed the menu with some of our go to meals are no longer available.
