La Olla Mexican Cafe - Tucson - Photo album

This is a great place for really good Mexican food! The service was excellent it is a very clean place. The margarita’s were amazing, the elote corn we had as an appetizer was really good and main dish even better. This is a place we will go to again when we are back in the area.
Love the salsa! Food was plentiful and filling. Service was fantastic. Best margarita I have had since Mexico.
Food was delicious. The lunch specials are great ($10-15). Family run small cafe. Will return!
The fish tacos were really good. I was surprised that the beans and rice were SO GOOD. Usually they're really plain and seem to be a secondary thought. This place has a true, good dish. The Jalapeño Chocolate ice cream was good too. Very different, and even a little spicy. The glazed pecans really
This little place is absolutely amazing. The service was excellent. Trista was so sweet and an amazing waitress. She made sure we were well taken care of. It was a tad slow to get the food, but DEFINITELY worth it. I had the pork and shrimp and it was to die for. It was one of the best meals I think
Enjoyed a nice dinner here. The food was as very good and the people were friendly. I had a combo with a tamale, enchilada and a fried taco. Salsa was fresh and good too.
La Olla is a small restaurant with booths and tables. They have a bar shoot you want to sit there. Service was quick and and we received our food just as fast. The menu was good and all the dishes I have tried have been very good. The portions are typical of Mexican restaurants and you either leave
The server was spectacular! It has been a while since some place new wowed me. The food was yummy. Just wish they offered a mild salsa. Sometimes, my pallet doesn't tolerate medium. The food was good and the 4 star rating is pretty accurate.
The best Mexican food we have ever had. You can tell a lot by the chips and salsa, which were phenomenal, and everything kept getting better. I had the surf and turf special, my wife a combination, the kids got tacos and tostadas. Every aspect was legendary. I felt they under-charged, so I over-
This place is fabulous great food and the chicken tortilla soup is the best and would recommend the prickly pear Lemonade.
Tried the Carna Asada plate and everything was delicious! Phenomenal food, cooked to perfection with fantastic flavors. The Tamale pie was great and calabacitas was delicious and a perfect pairing for the carne asada. The spices were spot on. The salsa has a bit of heat and zest and is not a simple
Even the salsa rocked! So much flavor! I can't remember the Spanish name for the side, but as a side, get the zucchini, cheese, etc. Dish. Everything was great and the service was too! Photo is the side. Already devoured the main dish.
Very very good! I tried it besause of the ratings! This was some of the best food I've had period! It was busy, but the service was still very good, and friendly! And the hostess and waitresses were hustling! The tamale pie was phenomenal!
Nachos for 2 are loaded with toppings. We got the combo #5 (taco, enchilada, shrimp) and the fried taco platter (both pictured below) and both were delicious and very filling. All on top of complimentary chips and salsa. The service was also very good. Definitely will be coming back many times. High
Stopped here for lunch on our way from Phoenix to Kartchner Caverns. It filled up quickly for lunch, which was a good sign. Quick and friendly service and the food was so delicious!
This place was amazing. The staff was courteous and prompt. Food was absolutely delicious. When I came back to Arizona, I will definitely be going there again.
