Happy anniversary, 30 YEARS. We LOVE THIS PLACE! We originally found this place at least 8 years ago. It change during C-19, but it’s back. It was good, fun and fresh.

I have been wanting to visit this place for a while. I'm just not in Tuscon very often. My wife and I ordered the Sonoran hotdogs a carne asada quesadilla a taco and some churros. It was all delicious there are a couple of other menu items that I want to go back and try. Great place!

First time coming here, if you’re looking for some good Mexican food, you found the place! The quesadillas with meat (caramelo) are delicious! And what’s better, they have a bar, where you can get guacamole, salsa everything you want! And if you’re an horchata lover, definitely try it here!

First time i had El Güero Canelo was on the South Side. Once I heard they had a location on Oracle Rd, i immediately checked it out. The Northern location is certainly very big and fancy. Most importantly, the quality is just as good as the South Side location.
My favorite here is the Sonoran dog 🌭 I use lots of salsas, especially the green sauce, and some salt. The chili is like the cherry on top 🌶️😁
I was actually craving El Güero Canelo since i was out of the country so long. When i finally returned from the Philippines, i loaded up on all this great food I've been missing. Next time i think I'll bring a stash of Sonoran dogs on the airplane back to Angeles City, Philippines 🛫 🤔

I got a Sonoran hot dog and a chicken taco. The service was very quick. Both items were good, and I was full for $10, but I’m not sure I could say it was the best Sonoran hot dog. Worth a try, though!

I was shocked by this place, first I thought it was a food truck and they had a TRU drive I found amazing. So they tell you to wait in a parking and they bring food from another building. You can come in and have a meal at the restaurant. This hot dog was something unlike anything I tasted and found it interesting. Tasty but interesting, it was something different for Try. You really should try it

El Guero Canelo - Simple ingredients, big flavor! From the moment I stepped out of the car and smelled the meat being grilled up out back, I knew I was in for a good experience! They are known for their James Beard Award-winning Sonoran Hot Dog, which was great and loved, but that carne asada was a game changer for me.While I was standing in line to order the man himself came from the back.So I asked if I could get a picture with him.Super nice guy.I've had lots of Mexican food in my life and lots of carne asada, and this is among the best I've had! My burro was just carne asada, beans, and a homemade tortilla—simple but certified delicious! El Guero Canelo is Bear Like Things approved!

New Tucson transplants! We had to try the Sonoran dogs. The food is a great price, very fast, and you can add all sorts of toppings. The Sonoran dogs were delicious and unique, we also got a mangoyada which was refreshing and tart. The location we went to seemed pretty new, it was clean and spacious and had a chill feel, almost like a classy cafeteria vibe. We can't wait to come back and try more food!

Sonoran hot dog was disappointing- it wasn’t bacon wrapped, there were hardly any beans and the bun was like a regular hot dog bun (I expected something more crusty). We also got two medium burros- one chicken and one beef. They were quite big; however they were very bland without a trip to the salsa bar- which was well stocked. Beef taco was just ok- some of the beef was very chewy. We will try somewhere else next time.

Ignore the decor, not much to add ambiance... but the condiment and roasted pepper bar~ just think of it as making your meal even more delicious. I had the "Chicken Caramelos". My friends had Sonoran hotdogs and a beef taco. We all loaded up delicious vegetables to layer on the flavor and texture. The guacamole was so flavorful and fresh. I gave my meal a small squeeze of fresh lime- So good!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Horchata was definitely a thumbs up by the one who gave it a try. I had simple ice water and it suited my purpose. And a large is definitely "large"! Two of us ordered chips and guacamole. 1.5 orders and a whole lot of guacamole went home.. too stuffed to eat the chips, but will make a great evening snack!!
The Oracle location is where we went. Parking can seem tight, but it really isn't.
If you like delicious fresh food, don't miss this spot!

Sonoran style hotdogs worth trying if you’re in the area, they’re good. Not sure if it’s worth going out of your way for though.
The mangoyada was weird. If you like spicy beer and cider you’ll likely like this.
If you have dietary restrictions be aware there may be communication issues.

This was my first and maybe last Sonoran hot dog. The restaurant is very clean, gigantic condiment bar, and helpful staff.
It's just that the Sonoran hot dog is not for me. I'm more of a Nathan's kind of guy. Clean, simple, and hot.

First time trying Sonoran hot dogs and this place DID NOT disappoint! They were AMAZING! Several friends from the Tucson area recommended this place to me while I was visiting for a couple days and I’m so glad I tried it. Fast service, lots of condiment options, packed with flavor, and phenomenal pricing!

I’m an Australian visiting a friend in Tucson and he took me to this place. It was good tasting and fresh, different from home that’s for sure… real Mexican. When I got home, boom.. it’s true. Don’t stray far from your bathroom. Well worth it though !
