Saffron Indian Bistro offers a great buffet from 11am to 3pm everyday except Tuesdays when they are closed. Everything is delectable… the Chana Masala (chickpeas), Saag (creamy spinach), rice, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, butter chicken, curry chicken, the succulent fried fish nuggets, two or three different types of Naan. The flavors are rich and savory, but not too spicy. Plenty of dishes to satisfy any vegetarian appetites. No lamb dishes or Daal (lentils) on the serving line today, but with so much variety I didn’t mind. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. They have a full bar. There are two outdoor patios equipped with heaters and somewhat enclosed so you aren’t gazing at the large parking lot of the shopping center. The music was a 70s/80s adult pop/rock mix, which thankfully was attenuated to a mellow background — I recall hearing U2, Greg Kihn’s Jeopardy, some Journey tune among others. Servers and host polite and efficient. Reasonably priced. If you’ve never experienced Indian cuisine, the Saffron buffet would be a great place to start. If you love Indian food and don’t know Saffron, what are you waiting for?

The buffet and food is very good and modestly priced! The strange thing about this one(specific) place is, when I’m eating I feel like the workers are watching everyone eat even from the camera’s(only here). Many more cameras than usual for a dining room. Probably for just collecting information like food consumption trends and time spent in the restaurant.

Love this place! I've been here for the lunch buffet, which is excellent and recently went for dinner. Super nice staff and great food. We got the chicken Tikka Masala and Naan. So much food that we took a lot home, and they gave us a nice bag to put it in.

There is lunch buffet here. The buffet line is nice and clean and a lot of curry options. The curry is very delicious. The veggie masala is my favorite. The naan bread is good. The price is reasonable ($14.99 for the buffet) The restaurant is very clean and nice atmosphere. The staff is nice.

First time here, and it was delicious!! We had the buffet, and absolutely everything was so flavorful. Our waitress stopped by our table several times to check on us, refill our waters, and pick up dirty dishes. The room is open, airy, and bright with lots of seating. Can't wait to go again!

The food tastes wonderful, I ate Butter Chicken. Unfortunately, there is no buffet in the evening. The waiters are friendly. The ambience is great and the background music is pleasant. The tables are well spaced. For children there is something to paint and four colorful crayons.

Lamb kebab had a deep marinade flavor and had a nice grilled char. The lamb retained the moisture well. Onions and green bell pepper were essentially raw. The raw onion paired very well with the lamb marinade and char. Order a side of saffron rice with the kebab and its a meal for two. If I could give this a 6th star for the food, I would. I highly recommend this place.

Great start! Here's an example of how you could continue your review: "Moving on to the food, Saffron's all-you-can-eat buffet was a delight for my taste buds! The restaurant offers a variety of authentic Indian dishes that are full of flavor and spice. From the butter chicken to the lamb curry, each dish was cooked to perfection and tasted just like it would in India. I especially loved the naan bread, which was soft and fluffy. The service was exceptional as well. Our waiter, Billy, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended some of his personal favorite dishes and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It was clear that he cared about his tables and wanted to make sure we had a great dining experience. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Saffron and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Tucson. The restaurant's warm atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service make it a must-visit spot for foodies and casual diners alike."

Spacious, bright and welcoming dining area. Got seated pretty quickly and our waitress was great. Very attentive and friendly. We had garlic naan, vindaloo lamb and shrimp korma. Medium for spicy and I feel that was plenty hot. We like spicy food so if you don’t then order mild. The good was very tasty and great. I think I like my husband vindaloo lamb better than mine. We would return here again and try other dishes.
