We truly enjoyed the window seat with the amazing view. Bruno is a top-notch server - one of the best I have encountered recently. The wedge and blue cheese salads were spot on and carrot cake divine. Unfortunately my boyfriend was not happy with the meal. Filet done Oscar. He said everything had a smell and flavor like burned grease or oil. He sent the béarnaise back saying it had no resemblance to béarnaise. He really wanted to like this place but said the meal was not edible. I felt bad because this was my birthday present to him.
If I could, I’d give more than 5 stars. The service was unbelievable. The hostess noticed the window table was about to open and asked if we wouldn’t mind waiting a few minutes for that spot but had one ready in case. We grabbed a drink at the bar while our table was being prepped. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made excellent cocktails. The food was remarkable! From the pickles and bread, to the scallops, crab cake, chophouse salad and the ribeye….. *sigh* I’d drive from Phoenix just for those scallops…. I was very pleased with our experience here.
Bruce was an amazing server and all the restaurant staff here are excellent. The portion sizes are absolutely amazing as you can see the steak and potatoes were definitely a good helping as well as the salmon and baked potato perfectly seasoned. You can expect to pay anywhere between $40-$50 for a main course and about 20 bucks for appetizers. You must try the lobster bisque soup as well as the blue cheese salad which has Pecans in the dressing which is homemade I can’t forget the salad from this restaurant and would happily order more and more as a takeout for just the salad. We had open table reservations for seven and waited about an hour to eat as there was a bigger table ahead of us so if you are OK with patients, I would highly recommend this restaurant, just remember to order an appetizer or two while you wait for your main course.
Until my visit to Bob's Steak & Chop House, I held Manny's Steakhouse in Minneapolis in high esteem, and I am not taking anything away from Manny's. This is by far, the finest steakhouse that I have ever visited. The entire meal was cooked to perfection, and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will return the next time that I am in Tucson.
My husband and I took my mom her for her birthday dinner. With more family with us, we all had a fabulous time. The service is the absolute best. The food was only 2nd to the outstanding service. For a nice night out, I highly recommend it. My husband thought the pork tomahawk was sublime. He wasn't even willing to share.
We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here! Incredible view, amazing service and delicious food!

My wife and I don't get to enjoy high quality food that often. It is nice to treat ourselves to a pricey meal once in a while. If we have a choice of where to spend our hard earned money, it would be here. The food is top notch and almost cooked to perfection. This time around we tried a special dish that consisted of some seared scallops and crab. Wow, amazing! Also with that we ordered a rib eye steak, which was also amazing.
If I was to give any suggestions, perhaps offer some smaller dishes for those who don't need such a large portion. Most if not all dishes could feed two people.
The staff is very attentive, kept filling my water almost every time I drink a few sips. I am not complaining, but it is a bit disruptive at times.
All in all great experience. I would recommend if you have the money to spend on such lavishly food. May not be for everyone, but worth it once in a long while .
To say that Bob's prime filet mignon steaks are decadent is just a crazy understatement. Bob's is the melt-in-your-mouth-like-butter of steak! AMAZING! And a carrot? Would I EVER have thought I'd get excited about a carrot? Yes, it's a real thing! Bob's Steak and Chophouse is just an amazing experience. Desserts are incredible too, and ridiculously huge! This is a total treat beyond the normal "best of steakhouses" in my opinion!
What a lovely way to enjoy an amazing quality steak dinner, in a coronavirus careful way! We were able to make reservations via Open Table which was nice and we normally do not venture this far west from our home in Vail but we wanted a nice dinner and we wanted steak.
Located in a beautiful area on the west side, sitting at the edge of a golf course we were immediately impressed with Bob's and the protocols they had in place during the pandemic. Tables well spaced apart, and servers wearing masks the ambiance was that of a quality top notch steak house.
There were four of us, we opted for indoor seating but they did appear to have outdoor seating as well. We started with the calamari and onion rings (half order). WOW. I am a die hard onion ring fanatic and these were so good. I am not a calamari fan like the rest of the table but I did try a piece or two and was shocked at how tasty and delicious it was. Just the right amount of seasoning in the light coating. We all had steaks, 2 of us had the 9 oz filet, 1 the NY strip and 1 the rib eye. All were cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth. The carrot was divine and the potatoes heavenly. I went with the smashed potatoes but tried the skillet potatoes which were incredibly delicious. While we all had enough food left over for another meal and asked for some boxes, we went with our server Jessica's recommendation of the carrot cake. It was so good (she told us a bakery makes all of their desserts), and we took almost the whole thing home as it was gargantuan.
From service to atmosphere to food it was 90 minutes of culinary escapism from 2020.
Peter and Kassie were great!!!!!!! What a great quiet environment to enjoy a 1st class meal. This place is not stuffy and uptight like other restaurants in its category but is relaxing and peaceful. A great place to create memories. Highly recommend this
