I supposedly came here as a kid years ago. While I don’t remember the experience, I have to say that ice cream is better than the chains we have out west. Really like their cake batter and vanilla ice cream, perhaps the best flavors but maybe I’m biased. They have mini fridge is filled with Carvel ice cream tubs, and ice cream cookies that you can get.

Grew up on this Ice Cream. Dad called it Custard - addicting - delicious always tastes wonderful - Staff is 7 days a week waiting on customers around the clock. Clean store. Carvel Ice Cream cake = there is nothing better.

Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, Carvel was always a staple for our family. This location in Tuckahoe is great. Chocolate dipped cones, but my favorite in the summer is a scoop of the lime sherbert topped with the vanilla soft serve

This a great little Carvel spot! The owners are super nice. Really great people. They take care of their customers and their store. The place is always clean. They work fast and get you what you need quickly. Plenty of flavors to choose from and a great ice cream cake selection as well. It's right on the corner of Depot Square, so you can't miss it. You won't be disappointed here.

Great service. The owners are always welcoming when I go. If you're undecided about a flavor, they're quick to offer you a sample. I'm not sure of Carvel sets the prices in all their stores or if they're independently set, but the cost is a little steep. 2 vanilla cones & 1 Heath Dasher cost $13+.
The store is located on the corner in Depot Square. Weather permitting, after you get your ice cream, you can walk over to the square center and enjoy your ice cream on the park benches.
