Very pleasantly surprised. The shredded beef chimichanga and chicken enchiladas were absolutely delicious. We went on a Friday during lunch and it wasn't very busy and the employees were all kind and attentive. We are already making plans to go back again soon!

Food was good, but service took way way way way too long. We have no idea why either. it wasn't that crowded perhaps it was under staffed. Having a hard time to recommend this Restaurant.

I am a local resident who believes strongly in supporting local business. I come into Soto’s every week and have recently started ordering a smaller lunch portion, which they have accommodated. I always come alone on my lunch break, for the sole purpose of eating great food and supporting good people. Today I walked in for lunch and at the hostess station, the waitress told me the owner stated she will no longer just sell me beans. Then asked if I still wanted to be seated. They all know me, and I am always warmly addressed on my way in and on my way out. Today I was completely humiliated, I was seated in the very back of the restaurant and it took a long time to get my food. As I was getting ready to get up and leave without my lunch, my food came. I was forced to eat it very quickly then walked up to the front to pay my bill. I will never come back to this restaurant, which is a shame because I love their food and the staff. I speak highly of them to everyone, and I always send people their way when asked what’s good to eat in town. I have been coming here for years on a regular basis. I can’t help but think they no longer want me to take up a table for a party of 1 --ordering an inexpensive lunch. It would have been kind to let me know of any menu changes after I placed my order at the table, not a verbal warning at the hostess station in front of other patrons. I felt like I wouldn’t be welcome to have a table unless I agreed to only order food as it appears on the menu. Sorry Soto’s but this isn’t how you treat your local supporters. Small order loyal customers should be treated the same as the large bar tab spenders and large parties. I think I will steer family, friends and strangers in a different direction for food. Not because of the lack of authenticity of your food, but because of the low quality of respect.

In Tubac, AZ, and feeling somewhat overwhelmed by possibilities for lunch, my wife and I decided to try Soto's. We're very happy we made that choice. The meals were excellent, and the service exceptional. Not only did we have an excellent meal, we were treated to a demonstration of slight of hand magic, as a dollar bill appeared out of the server's empty hands. My test of an item is "would I buy it again?" Would we eat there again? Yes.

Delightful casual Mexican restaurant. Food was excellent, service was good, outdoor dining area very nice, reasonable prices, strolling guitarists an awesome surprise. Would definitely eat here again.

We were here 20 years ago and it was just as magical as it is today. Great Margaritas, food, and service!! We were amazed at how Tubac has grown into a shopping mecca.

Margaritas were expensive, 34$ for one! Service was super slow, waitress forgot silverware, salsa. Beef on the nachos was funky. Won't be back.
