Big tasty new York style sammies in baguettes! Haven't tried the pizza yet but the whole place reminded me of small town new York pizza/sub shop. And I'm happy to find a legitimate sub sandwich place that makes them the way submarines should be!
I love the sandwiches and pizza. They make tasty food with great breads, meats, topping and sauces. We always stop in when we visit Juanita Park around the corner. They sell pizza by the slice too.
Researched pizza places in the Portland area and settled on this one based on the menu, photos and reviews on google. I love NY Ruben's. I walk in and I feel like I'm back in Jersey. Everything is fresh and delicious. The pizza is definitely East Coast, as are all of the sandwiches. Yum is all I can say!
Quality ingredients and meats. Tried the Ruben Special and it was simply delicious. The bread was fresh and toasty. The swiss was mildly nutty and nicely melted. The pickles and dressing were a perfect pairing. The Pastrami stole the show and was super flavorful. 5🌟
Walk in to get a slice 5bucks!! Peperoni. Ham .sausage. Looks good any way. The person who served me actually dig on the pizza and got me the ugliest slice with a tiny dust of sausage and keep the slices with actually sausage on the warmer. What the heck…did i do something wrong dude?? Pizza was ok

Great local business that will take your order super close to closing. I’ve always had a great experience here so get a pizza, philly, or Reuben and you cannot go wrong!!!
