Jim 'n Nick's

Got off interstate to get gas. Looked across parking lot and see Jim n Nicks BBQ. Quick review said said it was good place. Parking lot was packed. The brisket is great pulled pork was fabulous. The trimmings potatoes salad coke slaw and Mac n cheese all good. Service was a smile. Don’t forget the homemade cheese biscuits. Definitely worth the stop

I used to love Jim n Nicks and was really pleased with them when they reopened after having been shut down for the pandemic, but recently it’s like they don’t care. They let people without masks sit and wait in the same area with people who do have on masks, they let people walk around the restaurant without masks and talk and spread germs, and the last time I went there I was sitting in the party room and there were probably about 12 people sitting in a big table in the middle of the room and they were not 6 feet away from me and my family. It will probably be last time I come to this establishment until after the pandemic, I just can’t stand to see a restaurant be so careless and I’m disappointed in the people of trussville for not taking other people’s health more seriously. Disappointed.

25 min for party of 7, not the issue. The issue is 6 tables outside manager says not enough servers to help out outside, good thing covid is here, not many tables inside either so they must only have 3-4 servers.....come to notice they have 4 hostesses inside as well, maybe they can train to be servers and decrease the covid wait. Thankfully we are from Florida, where covid doesn’t interrupt the economy or service. Service in alabama is slow. Once we got our table we waited 20 more min the have our order taken....the menu is also half of what it used to be.....covid has over taken this state like made service and food worse
