Review La Cocina Grill & Chill - Trufant

Cool Mexican style bar in a small town. Our sever (sorry we can't remember your name but you called your self the crazy redhead) was out standing and total worth a return trip. She was quick with the drinks and attentive to our questions and generally very friendly. I would definitely return and try some of the different plates.

May 2022-large party and wonderful service although a bit slow because she was by herself. 2020- Everything was perfection except, chips were stale (not warm and possibly left out). The frozen margarita was awesome and we tried the flan as well. Best mole’ around and the chicken chimichanga was perfection.

Everything was amazing!! Top shelf margarita was reasonably priced and the best tasting marg I have had in a LONG time! Food was excellent-we had la Cocina wet burrito, steak quesadilla and the Fajitas. All were top quality. Last but not least, service was top notch as well. Thank you to all of the hardworking servers (and bartenders) who were running their butts off to serve us. Definitely worth the 20-25 minute drive from Greenville. This place is on a whole ‘nother level! And I almost forgot to mention that their prices are great too. Go there for lunch or dinner today, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!

I love this place since day 1! And its only gotten better. The owners are the most kind people and love to laugh and have a good time. Must haves are the Tijuana margarita super smooth, and the papi Chula burger! Everything I have had has been amazing, but that burger blew my mind.

Called in a takeout order today. Never been in Trufant before. Pork tacos were delicious. Reasonable price. Would definitely go there again

I've lived in the area for a year now and always wanted to check this place out. Finally decided to and absolutely loved it. Great food with a great variety. I had their Steak La Cocina Wet burrito and it was absolutely delicious. I will be returning with more friends next time I come around!

The margaritas were FANTASTIC! We had Wanda, and she was INCREDIBLE! She made the best margarita I’ve ever had, she was very attentive, made sure we had everything that we needed. 10/10 will come here again and request Wanda for my waitress!!!

My wife& I love the food here but decided we will not pay 99cents for salsa to put on our tacos! A shotglass amount !🤔

The food was wonderful! We had a great wait person who was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely make this a regular stop.
