Moody's Bistro Bar & Beats - Truckee - Photo album

We had a great time at Moody's! We sat in the bar area to watch Sunday football - really fun, inviting, and cozy kind of atmosphere. Our service was excellent and attentive. We ordered the special (not on menu) 13oz Wagyu Ribeye, medium rare, it had a variety of veggies with a glaze, on top of a tom
Wonderful meal! Jamie K was our friendly server and even held the baby for a bit while we ate! Recommend Octopus and beet salad starters. The wagyu ribeye special was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Halibut filet was huuuge and flavorful!
Nice evening at Moodys. The food and service were good but a bit below our expectations. The atmosphere was very nice and the outdoor seating was great. We would certainly return but for the price they need to raise there game a bit.
Moody’s is a Truckee staple that’s been around for a while. We last ate at Moody’s about 10 years ago when our then 12 year old son raves about the elk burger. It was just the two of us for a late birthday celebration and we opted to sit in the quieter dining room rather than the boisterous (but f
Excellent restaurant in downtown Truckee. The service is top notch. The food is locally sourced and very fresh. The tomato soup is legendary. The cioppino was light with perfectly cooked seafood. Good wine list and lots of creative cocktails. It gets busy- reservations recommended!
We ate at Moody’s twice last week, both meals were delicious, scallops , short ribs! This was some of the best food I have had in CA! The atmosphere and live music is also great.
Unassuming on the exterior, the restaurant is charming and warm on the interior. The al pastor chicken was fantastic as were a number of other dishes our party ordered.
Absolutely fantastic from check in to getting the check. Service was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. We had 3 kids and our server went out of his way to make sure they were taken care of. I had the sea bass. Awesome. Wife had the scallops -- even better The drinks / cocktails were also a hit
Just shared the hamburger with brisket cheeseburger. The special for $115 for a rib-eye steak was a bit much. Burger was good. They charged eight dollars to have it split. A little is excessive especially when they did not share that with us upfront. Atmosphere was good if you don’t mind a lot of
Excellent food and even better cocktails. Service was incredible. The only downer was the lack of A/C on the hottest day of the year.
