Decent prices, had the friend rice, portion is rather small but decent. Egg roll is a little oily and sadly no meat that I could see. There are plenty of decent Chinese restaurants in the area. Not sure if I would return.
Great Food!. My first visit to New China, humble exterior, fantastic food. We will be back, again and again. For all the fancy dining in Birmingham and Bloomfield, this is my favorite chinese so far. Skip PF Changs and Chen Chow!
The sauce is the boss. The thing that keeps me coming back, besides Alice's unique prickly hospitality, is the sauce for my beloved General Tso's chicken. It's not too sweet, or too thick, or full of ketchup, and I can't get enough.
Great food, great bar - Alice is awesome!
Omg!! This place. I can't believe I never noticed it before.. I lived in the area for 3 years like 10 years ago. I happened to drive by and noticed it and kept it in mind. Me and my husband and toddler went today. It was absolutely delicious. The people hating must just be stingy because it's reasonably priced and we got a ton of food. We did the almond chicken and beef and broccoli meal family meal for t2 added some spring rolls. I had a zombie drink which instantly transformed me back to Jamaica. The place has been around for 50.years and I can see why! If you're going for ambiance go elsewhere if it's for food and a sweet lady that works there than that's your spot. It's classically nostalgic. I know we're gonna be regulars from now on 11/10
I always order Almond Chicken. The 1st time it was OK, but this last time it was delicious. I put that you can dine in, but I think you have to call ahead to find out each time.
We’ve been going here on and off for almost 20 years. Very friendly family who work their tails off! Recently had carry out, despite being short staffed, the food was great!
I've always loved this place but they've changed a few things. I believe their combo meals are now dinner without soup, egg roll, crispy noodles which are all amazing so it was a bit disappointing this time around when all these things weren't part of our dinner. Ordering them a la carte is definitely going to up the total bill.
This place can be a little hard to find. Once you go inside, there is barely any window and you can feel like you’re in the back of a shady mafia run business right out of Rush Hour. But the place is decent. There is a bar in the middle and seats around. The food was decent too, nothing to write home about, typically American Chinese food. The food is on the cheaper side compare to every other Chinese restaurants that are around.
