La Botana Mexican Restaurant

Tonight after a long time I have good Mexican food which we have at la Bonita to in Troy Michigan. Food was large quantity. Taste was above average. Food was fresh and was serve hot people are very friendly very hardworking authentic Mexican food. If you are in the neighborhood are traveling to try Michigan wants to have a Mexican food I would recommend la Botana to be your choice of some ethnic food parking is good very easily accessible. Must support local Mexican restaurant to grow a small business. Facility was clean and lot of people was in and out to have a carry out not much sitting area but good enough to hold 15 to 20 people. If you like my Cummins and agree with me please feel free to have a feedback and provide some guidance for future potential visitor to la Botana restaurant in Troy Michigan. First time here and will definitely be back. I have never had enchiladas that were this good. Normally the sauce just tastes like tomato but the flavor on these were amazing. The asada fries were delicious as well. My fiance had the birria tacos and he loved them. Staff was so friendly, dining area was small yet very clean and we left super full.

Best Mexican food in Michigan. I met Fernando the owner years ago and was impressed with not only how he ran the business, but how the quality and flavor is ensured on every meal. Now I live 45 minutes away and drive out here when I eat Mexican food. Anywhere else is a waste of time and money. I understand how disappointing it is to bite into a quesadilla you paid $10-$12 for from another Mexican restaurant in Michigan and find that the chicken is bland and dry. Here the chicken is full of flavor. Their salsas are flavorful too. And they have the tastiest extra hot salsa. I would not recommend it unless you don't mind your eyes watering. I love it even though its super super spicy, it's just amazing. The beans and rice have so much flavor too. This place has always been my go to. And the only reason why I tried other Mexican restaurants is because I am far. I did not like a single one of them except La Botana in Troy.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star. Taco Bell has better Mexican food and Taco Bell isn’t anything good. For those saying this place is authentic they’ve never had real authentic Mexican food. This is far from authentic. Bland tasting and low quality Plus the chick on the register treats customers like her children “ooookkkkaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy” and the guy with pink hair doesn't have a clue what he’s doing. This place is overpriced and overrated. For as much as the meals cost ($15+) they should at least be filling and come with a drink but the scam is they don’t offer ice water you have to pay for a Fiji bottle water.
