We love this place. Owners live in our sub- but besides that the food is great, portions are fantastic. Glad they are opening a west side location. Now we have a Panera bread alternative.
My favorite place to get a smoothie! Love the pomegranate plunge! You can get so many cool flavors and some have chocolate. You can add protein also.
Love this store and the vibe! The manager must be a good leader because the staff always seems so upbeat and friendly with both customers and eachother every time we come in. Lina Holden Lauren and Zander were the staff that helped us today and they were awesome. Love the new salsa verde quesadilla, and the Caribbean Jerk wrap is also excellent.

Though pricier than a typical fast food joint, Tropical Smoothie continuously puts out a great product and leaves you feeling MUCH better than a burger and fries would. The only drawback is that their smoothies only come in one size, which is gigantic, and some almost always goes to waste. I suggest sharing the Detox Island Green with pea protein and an immune booster added!
Food is pretty good 7.5 outta 10 I had my bottem braces tightend. The food there is pretty soft i suggest the sweet potato bites its surprisingly soft but ask for salt they don't use much. All in all a good fast food place.
Some really awesome smoothies! I recommend the Sunshine! They were super fast at getting them done and it was delicious. The store itself was pretty clean and the staff was very nice. The smoothies themselves are a little bit expensive but a very nice treat. And you'd probably spend the same amount on some coffee so give it a try
Lobby was closed and the drive thru was long because that cafe is short staffed. My mocha madness was worth the wait. The 3 person crew was getting it done and had positive attitudes all around not one complaint even with people outside knocking at the door trying to come in and being rude. All the while there was a sign in front of their face "apologizing for the lobby being closed because they are short staffed"
Great store people are very kind. David the manager has really turned the store around and made it such a enjoyable place to eat and order from. Food is great and speed is amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

Service is always quick and proficient. Smoothies are my favorite in Traverse City and I love that they have a vegetarian option wrap! I use my discount cup and get 50 cents off every time in conjunction with the app which is super easy to use either inside or through the drive through! Place is colorful and has good welcoming atmosphere and is always clean.
Great smoothies. Inside was kind of dirty and the staff was rude and gave me smoothies with stuff all over the cup.
I love tropical cafe, delicious sandwiches and smoothies. Nice sized smoothies too. I've tried most of the sandwiches, have not found one I dont like. Bahama mama smoothie is my favorite
